Ecclesiastes 6
1 there distress: evil which to see: see underneath: under [the] sun and many he/she/it upon [the] man
मैले सूर्यमूनि एउटा खराबी देखेको छु, र यसले मानिसहरूलाई सार्है थिचेको छ ।
2 man: anyone which to give: give to/for him [the] God riches and wealth and glory and nothing he lacking to/for soul: myself his from all which to desire and not to domineer him [the] God to/for to eat from him for man foreign to eat him this vanity and sickness bad: harmful he/she/it
मानिसले इच्छा गरेको कुनै पनि कुरो कमी नहोस् भनेरे परमेश्वरले उसलाई धन-सम्पत्ति, जग्गा-जमिन र मान-सम्मान दिनुहोला, तर त्यसपछि परमेश्वरले उसलाई त्यसको उपभोग गर्ने कुनै खुबी दिनुहुन्न । बरु त्यसको थोकहरू अरू कसैले उपभोग गर्दछ । यो बाफ र खराब पीडा हो ।
3 if to beget man: anyone hundred and year many to live and many which/that to be day year his and soul: appetite his not to satisfy from [the] welfare and also tomb not to be to/for him to say pleasant from him [the] miscarriage
कुनै मानिस एक सय जना छोराछोरीको बुबा बन्यो र त्यो धेरै वर्षसम्म बाँच्यो अनि त्यसका दिनहरू धेरै भएर पनि असल कुराहरूले त्यसको हृदय सन्तुष्ट भएन र त्यसलाई गाडिएन भने त्यो मानिसभन्दा जन्मँदै मरेको बच्चा उत्तम हो ।
4 for in/on/with vanity to come (in): come and in/on/with darkness to go: went and in/on/with darkness name his to cover
यस्तो बच्चा व्यर्थमा जन्मन्छ र अन्धकारमा लोप हुन्छ, अनि त्यसको नाउँ लुकेको अवस्थामा रहन्छ ।
5 also sun not to see: see and not to know quietness to/for this from this
त्यस बच्चाले घामलाई नदेखे तापनि र कुनै कुरा नजाने तापनि त्यस मानिसले भन्दा यसको विश्राम असल हुन्छ ।
6 and except to live thousand year beat and welfare not to see: enjoy not to(wards) place one [the] all to go: went
मानिस दुई हजार वर्षसम्म बाँचेर पनि असल थोकहरूको आनन्द लिन पाउँदैन भने त्यो मानिस पनि त्यहीँ जान्छ, जहाँ हरेक मानिस जान्छ ।
7 all trouble [the] man to/for lip his and also [the] soul: appetite not to fill
मानिसका सबै काम त्यसको मुखको लागि हो, तापनि त्यसको भोक सन्तुष्ट हुँदैन ।
8 for what? advantage to/for wise from [the] fool what? to/for afflicted to know to/for to go: walk before [the] alive
वास्तवमा मूर्खलाई भन्दा बुद्धिमान् मानिसलाई केचाहिँ बढी फाइदा छ र? अरू मानिसहरूको सामुन्ने कसरी व्यवहार गर्ने भनी गरिब मानिसलाई थाहा भए तापनि त्यसलाई के लाभ हुन्छ र?
9 pleasant appearance eye from to go: walk soul: appetite also this vanity and longing spirit: breath
भौँतारिहिँड्ने भोकको लालसाले गर्ने इच्छाभन्दा आँखाले जे देख्छ, त्यसबाट सन्तुष्ट हुनु उत्तम हुन्छ । यो पनि बाफ र बतासलाई खेद्ने कोसिस मात्र हो ।
10 what? which/that to be already to call: call by name his and to know which he/she/it man and not be able to/for to judge with (which/that mighty *Q(K)*) from him
जे अस्तित्वमा रहेको छ, त्यसको पहिले नै नाउँ राखिएको छ, र मानव-जाति के हो भनी पहिले नै जानिएको छ । सबैका शक्तिशाली न्यायाधीशसित बहस गर्नु अर्थहीन भएको छ ।
11 for there word to multiply to multiply vanity what? advantage to/for man
जति धेरै वचन बोलिन्छ, त्यति नै धेरै व्यर्थताको वृद्धि हुन्छ । त्यसो भए, मानिसलाई के लाभ हुन्छ र?
12 for who? to know what? pleasant to/for man in/on/with life number day life vanity his and to make: do them like/as shadow which who? to tell to/for man what? to be after him underneath: under [the] sun
किनभने छायाझैँ बितिजाने मानिसको छोटो जीवनमा त्यसको व्यर्थताको बेलामा केचाहिँ असल हो भनी कसलाई थाहा हुन्छ र? सूर्यमूनि मानिसको मृत्यु भएपछि के हुन्छ भनी कसले भन्न सक्छ र?
