Ecclesiastes 6
1 there distress: evil which to see: see underneath: under [the] sun and many he/she/it upon [the] man
Es gibt einen Übelstand, den ich unter der Sonne beobachtet habe und der schwer auf dem Menschen lastet:
2 man: anyone which to give: give to/for him [the] God riches and wealth and glory and nothing he lacking to/for soul: myself his from all which to desire and not to domineer him [the] God to/for to eat from him for man foreign to eat him this vanity and sickness bad: harmful he/she/it
Da verleiht Gott jemandem Reichtum, irdische Güter und Ehre, so daß ihm für seine Person nichts fehlt von allem, wonach er Verlangen trägt; aber Gott gestattet ihm nicht, es zu genießen, sondern ein Fremder hat den Genuß davon: das ist bedauerlich und ein schwerer Übelstand!
3 if to beget man: anyone hundred and year many to live and many which/that to be day year his and soul: appetite his not to satisfy from [the] welfare and also tomb not to be to/for him to say pleasant from him [the] miscarriage
Wenn jemand Vater von hundert Kindern würde und viele Jahre lebte, so daß die Zahl seiner Lebenstage groß wäre, er aber nicht dazu käme, seines Lebens froh zu werden [und ihm sogar kein Begräbnis zuteil würde], so sage ich: Besser als er ist ein Totgeborener daran.
4 for in/on/with vanity to come (in): come and in/on/with darkness to go: went and in/on/with darkness name his to cover
Denn ein solcher kommt als ein Nichts auf die Welt und geht im Dunkel hinweg, und sein Name bleibt mit Dunkel bedeckt;
5 also sun not to see: see and not to know quietness to/for this from this
auch hat er die Sonne nicht gesehen und weiß nichts von ihr; aber in Beziehung auf Ruhe hat er einen Vorzug vor jenem.
6 and except to live thousand year beat and welfare not to see: enjoy not to(wards) place one [the] all to go: went
Ja, wenn jemand auch zweimal tausend Jahre lebte, ohne jedoch seines Lebens froh zu werden – fährt nicht alles dahin an denselben Ort?
7 all trouble [the] man to/for lip his and also [the] soul: appetite not to fill
Alles Mühen des Menschen geschieht für den Mund, und dennoch wird dessen Begierde nicht gestillt.
8 for what? advantage to/for wise from [the] fool what? to/for afflicted to know to/for to go: walk before [the] alive
Doch welchen Vorzug hat hierin der Weise vor dem Toren? Den des Armen, der sich auf die richtige Lebensführung versteht.
9 pleasant appearance eye from to go: walk soul: appetite also this vanity and longing spirit: breath
Besser ist das Anschauen mit den Augen als das Umherschweifen mit der Begierde. Auch das ist nichtig und ein Haschen nach Wind.
10 what? which/that to be already to call: call by name his and to know which he/she/it man and not be able to/for to judge with (which/that mighty *Q(K)*) from him
Alles, was geschieht, ist längst im voraus bestimmt, und von vornherein steht fest, wie es einem Menschen ergehen wird, und niemand vermag den zur Rechenschaft zu ziehen, der stärker ist als er.
11 for there word to multiply to multiply vanity what? advantage to/for man
Wohl findet da vieles Gerede statt, aber das schafft nur noch mehr Nichtigkeit: welchen Nutzen hat der Mensch davon?
12 for who? to know what? pleasant to/for man in/on/with life number day life vanity his and to make: do them like/as shadow which who? to tell to/for man what? to be after him underneath: under [the] sun
Denn wer weiß, was dem Menschen im Leben gut ist während der wenigen Tage seines nichtigen Lebens, die er dem Schatten vergleichbar verbringt? Denn wer tut dem Menschen kund, was nach ihm sein wird unter der Sonne?
