Ecclesiastes 5
1 to keep: guard (foot your *Q(K)*) like/as as which to go: went to(wards) house: temple [the] God and to present: come to/for to hear: hear from to give: give [the] fool sacrifice for nothing they to know to/for to make: do bad: evil
Prends garde à ton pied quand tu vas à la maison de Dieu; s’approcher pour écouter vaut mieux que d’offrir des victimes à la manière des insensés; car leur ignorance les conduit à faire mal.
2 not to dismay upon lip your and heart your not to hasten to/for to come out: speak word to/for face: before [the] God for [the] God in/on/with heaven and you(m. s.) upon [the] land: country/planet upon so to be word your little
Ne sois pas pressé d’ouvrir la bouche, et que ton cœur ne se hâte pas d’exprimer une parole devant Dieu; car Dieu est au ciel, et toi sur la terre: que tes paroles soient donc peu nombreuses!
3 for to come (in): come [the] dream in/on/with abundance task and voice fool in/on/with abundance word
Car de la multitude des occupations naissent les songes, et de la multitude des paroles, des propos d’insensé.
4 like/as as which to vow vow to/for God not to delay to/for to complete him for nothing pleasure in/on/with fool [obj] which to vow to complete
Lorsque tu fais un vœu à Dieu, ne tarde pas à l’accomplir, car il n’y a pas de faveur pour les insensés: ce que tu voues, accomplis-le.
5 pleasant which not to vow (from which/that to vow *L(abh)*) and not to complete
Mieux vaut pour toi ne pas vouer, que vouer et ne pas accomplir.
6 not to give: allow [obj] lip your to/for to sin [obj] flesh your and not to say to/for face: before [the] messenger for unintentionally he/she/it to/for what? be angry [the] God upon voice your and to destroy [obj] deed: work hand your
Ne permets pas à ta bouche de faire pécher ta chair, et ne dis pas en présence de l’envoyé de Dieu que c’est une inadvertance: pourquoi Dieu s’irriterait-il au sujet de tes paroles, et détruirait-il les œuvre de tes mains?
7 for in/on/with abundance dream and vanity and word to multiply for [obj] [the] God to fear: revere
Car, comme il y a des vanités dans la multitude des occupations, il y en a aussi dans beaucoup de paroles; c’est pourquoi crains Dieu.
8 if oppression be poor and robbery justice and righteousness to see: see in/on/with province not to astounded upon [the] pleasure for high from upon high to keep: look at and high upon them
Si tu vois dans une province le pauvre opprimé, le droit et la justice violés, ne t’étonne pas de la chose; car un plus grand veille sur un grand, et de plus grands encore veillent sur eux.
9 and advantage land: country/planet in/on/with all (he/she/it *Q(K)*) king to/for land: country to serve: labour
Un avantage pour le pays à tous égards, c’est un roi qui donne ses soins à l’agriculture.
10 to love: lover silver: money not to satisfy silver: money and who? to love: lover in/on/with crowd not produce also this vanity
Celui qui aime l’argent n’est pas rassasié par l’argent, et celui qui aime les richesses n’en goûte pas le fruit; c’est encore là une vanité.
11 in/on/with to multiply [the] welfare to multiply to eat her and what? skill to/for master her that if: except if: except (sight *Q(K)*) eye his
Quand les biens se multiplient, ceux qui les mangent se multiplient aussi; et quel avantage en revient-il à leurs possesseurs, sinon qu’ils les voient de leurs yeux?
12 sweet sleep [the] to serve: labour if little and if to multiply to eat and [the] abundance to/for rich nothing he to rest to/for him to/for to sleep
Le sommeil du travailleur est doux, qu’il ait peu ou beaucoup à manger; mais la satiété du riche ne le laisse pas dormir.
13 there distress: evil be weak: grieved to see: see underneath: under [the] sun riches to keep: guard to/for master his to/for distress: harm his
Il est un mal grave que j’ai vu sous le soleil: des richesses conservées pour son malheur par celui qui les possède:
14 and to perish [the] riches [the] he/she/it in/on/with task bad: harmful and to beget son: child and nothing in/on/with hand his anything
Ces richesses se perdent par quelque fâcheux événement, et, s’il a engendré un fils, il ne lui reste rien entre les mains.
15 like/as as which to come out: come from belly: womb mother his naked to return: again to/for to go: went like/as which/that to come (in): come and anything not to lift: raise in/on/with trouble his which/that to go: take in/on/with hand his
Tel qu’il est sorti du sein de sa mère, il s’en retournera nu, comme il était venu; et il ne recevra rien pour son travail, qu’il puisse emporter dans sa main:
16 and also this distress: evil be weak: grieved all close which/that to come (in): come so to go: went and what? advantage to/for him which/that to toil to/for spirit: breath
C’est encore là un grave mal, qu’il s’en aille comme il est venu: et quel avantage lui revient-il d’avoir travaillé pour le vent?
17 also all day his in/on/with darkness to eat and to provoke to multiply and sickness his and wrath
De plus, toute sa vie il mange dans les ténèbres; il a beaucoup de chagrin, de souffrance et d’irritation.
18 behold which to see: see I pleasant which beautiful to/for to eat and to/for to drink and to/for to see: enjoy welfare in/on/with all trouble his which/that to toil underneath: under [the] sun number day (life his *Q(k)*) which to give: give to/for him [the] God for he/she/it portion his
Voici donc ce que j’ai vu: c’est qu’il est bon et séant pour l’homme de manger et de boire, et de jouir du bien-être dans tout son travail, auquel il se livre sous le soleil, durant les jours de vie que Dieu lui donne; car c’est là sa part.
19 also all [the] man which to give: give to/for him [the] God riches and wealth and to domineer him to/for to eat from him and to/for to lift: bear [obj] portion his and to/for to rejoice in/on/with trouble his this gift God he/she/it
De plus, pour tout homme à qui Dieu donne richesses et biens, avec pouvoir d’en manger, d’en prendre sa part et de se réjouir de son travail, c’est là un don de Dieu.
20 for not to multiply to remember [obj] day life his for [the] God to afflict in/on/with joy heart his
Car alors il ne songe guère aux jours de sa vie, parce que Dieu répand la joie dans son cœur.
