Ecclesiastes 2
1 to say I in/on/with heart my to go: come! [emph?] please to test you in/on/with joy and to see: enjoy in/on/with good and behold also he/she/it vanity
Ta lại nói trong lòng rằng: Hè! hãy thử điều vui sướng và nếm sự khoái lạc: kìa, điều đó cũng là sự hư không.
2 to/for laughter to say to boast: rave madly and to/for joy what? this to make: do
Ta nói: Cười là điên; vui sướng mà làm chi?
3 to spy in/on/with heart my to/for to draw in/on/with wine [obj] flesh my and heart my to lead in/on/with wisdom and to/for to grasp in/on/with folly till which to see: see where? this pleasant to/for son: child [the] man which to make: do underneath: under [the] heaven number day life their
Ta nghĩ trong lòng rằng phải uống rượu để cho thân mình vui sướng, mà sự khôn ngoan vẫn còn dẫn dắt lòng ta, lại nghĩ phải cầm lấy sự điên dại cho đến khi xem thử điều gì là tốt hơn cho con loài người làm ở dưới trời trọn đời mình sống.
4 to magnify deed: work my to build to/for me house: home to plant to/for me vineyard
Ta làm những công việc cả thể; ta cất nhà cho mình, trồng vườn nho cho mình,
5 to make to/for me garden and park and to plant in/on/with them tree all fruit
lập cho mình vườn cây trái và vườn hoa, và trồng cây trái đủ thứ ở đó;
6 to make to/for me pool water to/for to water: watering from them wood to spring tree
ta đào hồ chứa nước đặng tưới rừng, là nơi cây cối lớn lên.
7 to buy servant/slave and maidservant and son: child house: home to be to/for me also livestock cattle and flock to multiply to be to/for me from all which/that to be to/for face: before my in/on/with Jerusalem
Ta mua những tôi trai tớ gái, lại có nhiều đầy tớ sanh ra trong nhà ta. Ta có bầy bò và chiên nhiều hơn hết thảy những người ở trước ta tại Giê-ru-sa-lem.
8 to gather to/for me also silver: money and gold and possession king and [the] province to make: offer to/for me to sing and to sing and luxury son: child [the] man concubine and concubine
Ta cũng thâu chứa bạc vàng, và những vật báu của các vua, các tỉnh. Ta lo sắm cho mình những con hát trai và gái, cùng sự khoái lạc của con trai loài người, tức là nhiều vợ và hầu.
9 and to magnify and to add from all which/that to be to/for face: before my in/on/with Jerusalem also wisdom my to stand: stand to/for me
Như vậy ta trở nên cao trọng hơn hết thảy những người ở trước ta tại Giê-ru-sa-lem; dầu vậy, sự khôn ngoan vẫn còn ở cùng ta.
10 and all which to ask eye my not to reserve from them not to withhold [obj] heart my from all joy for heart my glad from all trouble my and this to be portion my from all trouble my
Ta chẳng từ điều gì mắt mình ước ao, cũng chẳng cấm điều gì lòng mình ưa thích; vì lòng ta vui vẻ vì mọi công lao của ta; và đó là phần ta đã được trong mọi công lao ta.
11 and to turn I in/on/with all deed: work my which/that to make: do hand my and in/on/with trouble which/that to toil to/for to make: do and behold [the] all vanity and longing spirit: breath and nothing advantage underneath: under [the] sun
Đoạn ta xem xét các công việc tay mình đã làm, và sự lao khổ mình đã chịu để làm nó; kìa, mọi điều đó là sự hư không và theo luồng gió thổi, chẳng có ích lợi gì hết dưới mặt trời.
12 and to turn I to/for to see: examine wisdom and madness and folly for what? [the] man which/that to come (in): come after [the] king [obj] which already to make: do him
Ta bèn xây lại đặng xem xét sự khôn ngoan, sự ngu dại, và sự điên cuồng; vì người nào đến sau vua sẽ có thể làm gì? Bất quá làm điều người khác đã làm từ lâu rồi.
13 and to see: see I which/that there advantage to/for wisdom from [the] folly like/as advantage [the] light from [the] darkness
Vả, ta thấy sự khôn ngoan hơn sự ngu dại, cũng như ánh sáng hơn tối tăm.
14 [the] wise eye his in/on/with head his and [the] fool in/on/with darkness to go: walk and to know also I which/that accident one to meet [obj] all their
Người khôn ngoan có con mắt trong đầu mình, còn kẻ ngu muội bước đi trong tối tăm; dầu vậy, ta nhìn thấy hai đàng cùng gặp một số phận về sau.
15 and to say I in/on/with heart my like/as accident [the] fool also I to meet me and to/for what? be wise I then advantage and to speak: speak in/on/with heart my which/that also this vanity
Nên ta có nói trong lòng rằng: Sự xảy đến cho kẻ dại, sẽ xảy đến cho ta cũng vậy; vậy, ta có nhiều khôn ngoan như thế mà làm chi? Ta lại nói trong lòng rằng: Điều đó là một sự hư không nữa.
16 for nothing memorial to/for wise with [the] fool to/for forever: enduring in/on/with which/that already [the] day [the] to come (in): come [the] all to forget and how? to die [the] wise with [the] fool
Vì người ta chẳng nhớ người khôn ngoan đến đời đời, cũng như chẳng nhớ kẻ ngu muội; vì trong ngày sau cả thảy đều bị quên mất từ lâu. Phải, người khôn ngoan chết cũng như kẻ điên cuồng?
17 and to hate [obj] [the] life for bad: harmful upon me [the] deed: work which/that to make: do underneath: under [the] sun for [the] all vanity and longing spirit: breath
Vậy, ta ghét đời sống, vì mọi việc làm ra dưới mặt trời là cực nhọc cho ta, thảy đều hư không, theo luồng gió thổi.
18 and to hate I [obj] all trouble my which/that I laborious underneath: under [the] sun which/that to rest him to/for man which/that to be after me
Ta cũng ghét mọi công lao ta đã làm ở dưới mặt trời, vì phải để lại cho người sau mình.
19 and who? to know wise to be or fool and to domineer in/on/with all trouble my which/that to toil and which/that be wise underneath: under [the] sun also this vanity
Vả, ai biết rằng người ấy sẽ khôn ngoan hay là ngu dại? Dầu thế nào, hắn sẽ cai quản mọi việc ta đã lấy sự lao khổ và khôn ngoan mà làm ở dưới mặt trời. Điều đó cũng là hư không.
20 and to turn: turn I to/for to despair [obj] heart my upon all [the] trouble which/that to toil underneath: under [the] sun
Bởi cớ ấy ta trở lòng thất vọng về mọi công việc ta đã lao khổ mà làm ở dưới mặt trời.
21 for there man which/that trouble his in/on/with wisdom and in/on/with knowledge and in/on/with skill and to/for man which/that not to toil in/on/with him to give: put him portion his also this vanity and distress: evil many
Vì có người làm công việc mình cách khôn ngoan, thông sáng, và tài giỏi, rồi phải để lại làm cơ nghiệp cho kẻ chẳng hề lao khổ làm đến. Điều đó cũng là một sự hư không và một sự tai nạn lớn.
22 for what? to be to/for man in/on/with all trouble his and in/on/with striving heart his which/that he/she/it laborious underneath: under [the] sun
Vậy, ích chi cho người lao khổ, cực lòng mà làm việc ở dưới mặt trời?
23 for all day his pain and vexation task his also in/on/with night not to lie down: sleep heart his also this vanity he/she/it
Vì các ngày người chỉ là đau đớn, công lao người thành ra buồn rầu; đến đỗi ban đêm lòng người cũng chẳng được an nghỉ. Điều đó cũng là sự hư không.
24 nothing pleasant in/on/with man which/that to eat and to drink and to see: enjoy [obj] soul: myself his good in/on/with trouble his also this to see: see I for from hand: power [the] God he/she/it
Chẳng gì tốt cho người hơn là ăn, uống, khiến linh hồn mình hưởng phước của lao khổ mình. Ta xem thấy điều đó cũng bởi tay Đức Chúa Trời mà đến.
25 for who? to eat and who? to enjoy outside from me
Vì ai là người được ăn và hưởng sự vui sướng hơn ta?
26 for to/for man which/that pleasant to/for face: before his to give: give wisdom and knowledge and joy and to/for to sin to give: give task to/for to gather and to/for to gather to/for to give: give to/for pleasant to/for face: before [the] God also this vanity and longing spirit: breath
Bởi Đức Chúa Trời ban sự khôn ngoan, thông sáng, và vui vẻ cho kẻ nào đẹp lòng Ngài; nhưng Ngài khiến cho kẻ có tội phải lao khổ mà thâu góp chất chứa, để rồi ban cho người đẹp lòng Đức Chúa Trời. Điều đó cũng là sự hư không, theo luồng gió thổi.
