Ecclesiastes 10
1 fly death to stink to bubble oil to mix precious from wisdom from glory folly little

2 heart wise to/for right his and heart fool to/for left his
Nunyala ƒe dzi nana wòwɔa nyui ke bometsila ƒe dzi nana wòwɔa nu vɔ̃.
3 and also in/on/with way: road (like/as which/that fool *Q(K)*) to go: walk heart his to lack and to say to/for all fool he/she/it
Àte ŋu adze si bometsila le ale si wòle zɔzɔm le ablɔ dzi la me!
4 if spirit: temper [the] to rule to ascend: rise upon you place your not to rest for healing to rest sin great: large
Ne wò amegã do dɔmedzoe ɖe ŋuwò la, mègadzo le egbɔ o, elabena blewu tsia dɔmedzoe helĩhelĩ nu.
5 there distress: evil to see: see underneath: under [the] sun like/as unintentionally which/that to come out: come from to/for face: before [the] domineering
Megade dzesi nu vɔ̃ɖi aɖe tso fiawo kple dziɖulawo ŋu esi melé ŋku ɖe nuwo ƒe yiyi me le xexea me ŋu.
6 to give: put [the] folly in/on/with height many and rich in/on/with poverty to dwell
Mekpɔe be wona ŋusẽ gã bometsilawo hetsɔ wo ɖo amewo nu eye wometsɔ bubuteƒe na kesinɔtɔwo abe ale si dze ene o.
7 to see: see servant/slave upon horse and ruler to go: walk like/as servant/slave upon [the] land: soil
Gawu la, mekpɔ subɔlawo wonɔ sɔ dom le esime fiaviŋutsuwo nɔ afɔ zɔm abe subɔlawo ene!
8 to search pit in/on/with him to fall: fall and to break through wall to bite him serpent
Ame si ɖea vudo la, eyae gena ɖe eme. Ame si gbãa gli toa eme la, eyae da ɖuna.
9 to set out stone to hurt in/on/with them to break up/open tree: stick to endanger in/on/with them
Ame si gbãa kpe la, eyae kpe wɔa nuvevii! Ame si dzea nake la, eyae fia sina!
10 if be blunt [the] iron and he/she/it not face to lighten and strength to prevail and advantage (to succeed *Q(k)*) wisdom
Ame si le fia maɖamaɖa ŋu dɔ wɔm la, wɔa eƒe ŋusẽ geɖe ŋu dɔ. Dze nunya eye nànyre fia la nyuie.
11 if to bite [the] serpent in/on/with not charm and nothing advantage to/for master: [master of] [the] tongue
Ne da ɖu ame hafi wosa gbe de daa la, ekema gbesala mewɔ dɔ nyui aɖeke o.
12 word lip wise favor and lips fool to swallow up him
Nya si tso nunyala ƒe nu me nyea amenuvenya, ke bometsila ƒe nuyiwo gblẽa nu le eya ŋutɔ ŋu.
13 beginning word lip his folly and end lip: word his madness bad: evil
Eƒe nyawo ƒe gɔmedzedze nyea numanyamanya eye eƒe nyawo ƒe nuwuwu nyea tsukuku vɔ̃ɖi.
14 and [the] fool to multiply word not to know [the] man what? which/that to be and which to be from after him who? to tell to/for him
Bometsila nyaa nu sia nu tso etsɔ si gbɔna la ŋu eye wòƒoa nu tso nu si wònya la ŋu tsitotsito! Ke ame ka tututu ate ŋu anya nu si le dzɔdzɔ ge?
15 trouble [the] fool be weary/toil him which not to know to/for to go: journey to(wards) city
Dɔ sue aɖe ko wɔwɔ nana ɖeɖi tea eŋu ale gbegbe be ŋusẽ meganɔa eŋu hena dua me yiyi o.
16 woe! to/for you land: country/planet which/that king your youth and ruler your in/on/with morning to eat
Babaa na dukɔ si ƒe fia nye ɖevi eye eƒe kplɔlawo mua aha ŋdi kanya gbe sia gbe.
17 blessed you land: country/planet which/that king your son: child noble and ruler your in/on/with time to eat in/on/with might and not in/on/with drunkenness
Woayra dukɔ si ƒe fia nye bubume, eƒe kplɔlawo wɔa dɔ sesĩe hafi ɖua nu eye wonoa nu bena woatsɔ ado ŋusẽ wo ɖokuiwo hena dɔ si le wo ŋgɔ la wɔwɔ.
18 in/on/with sluggishness to sink [the] rafter and in/on/with idleness hand to drip [the] house: home
Kuviawɔwɔ nana xɔ ƒe daɖedziwo nyena ɖe eme, eye alɔgblɔlɔwɔwɔ nana xɔ ɖuɖuna.
19 to/for laughter to make food: bread and wine to rejoice life and [the] silver: money to answer [obj] [the] all
Nuɖuɖu hea nukoko vanɛ, wain hea dzidzɔ vanɛ, eye gae dia nu sia nu kpɔna.
20 also in/on/with knowledge your king not to lighten and in/on/with chamber bed your not to lighten rich for bird [the] heaven to go: take [obj] [the] voice and master: men (wing *Q(K)*) to tell word: thing
Mègado ɖiŋu na fia la le wò susu me ke gɔ̃ hã o; mègaƒo fi de kesinɔtɔ le wò xɔ gã me ke gɔ̃ hã o, elabena xevi sue aɖe agblɔ nu si nègblɔ tso wo ŋu la na wo.
