Deuteronomy 7

1 for to come (in): bring you LORD God your to(wards) [the] land: country/planet which you(m. s.) to come (in): come there [to] to/for to possess: take her and to slip nation many from face: before your [the] Hittite and [the] Girgashite and [the] Amorite and [the] Canaanite and [the] Perizzite and [the] Hivite and [the] Jebusite seven nation many and mighty from you

هنگامی که یهوه خدایتان شما را به سرزمینی که برای تصرفش می‌روید، ببرد، این هفت قوم را که همگی از شما بزرگتر و قویترند نابود خواهد ساخت: حیتی‌ها، جرجاشی‌ها، اموری‌ها، کنعانی‌ها، فرزی‌ها، حوی‌ها و یبوسی‌ها.

2 and to give: give them LORD God your to/for face: before your and to smite them to devote/destroy to devote/destroy [obj] them not to cut: make(covenant) to/for them covenant and not be gracious them

زمانی که خداوند، خدایتان آنها را به شما تسلیم کند و شما آنها را مغلوب نمایید، باید همهٔ آنها را بکشید. با آنها معاهده‌ای نبندید و به آنها رحم نکنید، بلکه ایشان را به کلی نابود سازید.

3 and not be related in/on/with them daughter your not to give: give to/for son: child his and daughter his not to take: take to/for son: child your

با آنها ازدواج نکنید و نگذارید فرزندانتان با پسران و دختران ایشان ازدواج کنند.

4 for to turn aside: depart [obj] son: child your from after me and to serve: minister God another and to be incensed face: anger LORD in/on/with you and to destroy you quickly

چون در نتیجهٔ ازدواج با آنها جوانانتان به بت‌پرستی کشیده خواهند شد و همین سبب خواهد شد که خشم خداوند نسبت به شما افروخته شود و شما را به کلی نابود سازد.

5 for if: except thus to make: do to/for them altar their to tear and pillar their to break and Asherah their to cut down/off [emph?] and idol their to burn [emph?] in/on/with fire

مذبحهایشان را بشکنید، ستونهایی را که می‌پرستند خرد کنید و مجسمه‌های شرم‌آور را تکه‌تکه نموده، بتهایشان را بسوزانید؛

6 for people holy you(m. s.) to/for LORD God your in/on/with you to choose LORD God your to/for to be to/for him to/for people possession from all [the] people which upon face: surface [the] land: planet

چون شما قوم مقدّسی هستید که به خداوند، خدایتان اختصاص یافته‌اید. او از بین تمام مردم روی زمین شما را انتخاب کرده است تا گنج خاص او باشید.

7 not from to multiply you from all [the] people to desire LORD in/on/with you and to choose in/on/with you for you(m. p.) [the] little from all [the] people

شما کوچکترین قوم روی زمین بودید، پس خداوند شما را به سبب اینکه قومی بزرگتر از سایر قومها بودید برنگزید و محبت نکرد،

8 for from love LORD [obj] you (and from to keep: obey he *L(abh)*) [obj] [the] oath which to swear to/for father your to come out: send LORD [obj] you in/on/with hand: power strong and to ransom you from house: home servant/slave from hand: power Pharaoh king Egypt

بلکه به این دلیل که شما را دوست داشت و می‌خواست عهد خود را که با پدرانتان بسته بود بجا آورد. به همین دلیل است که او شما را با چنین قدرت و معجزات عجیب و بزرگی از بردگی و از چنگ فرعون پادشاه مصر رهانید.

9 and to know for LORD God your he/she/it [the] God [the] God [the] be faithful to keep: obey [the] covenant and [the] kindness to/for to love: lover him and to/for to keep: obey (commandment his *Q(K)*) to/for thousand generation

پس بدانید که تنها خدایی که وجود دارد یهوه، خدایتان است و او همان خدای امینی است که تا هزاران نسل عهد خود را نگاه داشته، پیوسته کسانی را که او را دوست می‌دارند و دستورهایش را اطاعت می‌کنند محبت می‌نماید.

10 and to complete to/for to hate him to(wards) face his to/for to perish him not to delay to/for to hate him to(wards) face his to complete to/for him

ولی آنانی را که از او نفرت دارند بی‌درنگ مجازات و نابود می‌کند.

11 and to keep: careful [obj] [the] commandment and [obj] [the] statute: decree and [obj] [the] justice: judgement which I to command you [the] day to/for to make: do them

بنابراین تمام فرمانها و فرایض و قوانینی را که امروز به شما می‌دهم اجرا کنید.

12 and to be consequence to hear: hear [emph?] [obj] [the] justice: judgement [the] these and to keep: obey and to make: do [obj] them and to keep: obey LORD God your to/for you [obj] [the] covenant and [obj] [the] kindness which to swear to/for father your

اگر به این قوانین توجه کرده، آنها را اطاعت نمایید، یهوه، خدایتان عهدی را که از روی رحمت خویش برای پدرانتان سوگند خورد، ادا خواهد کرد.

13 and to love: lover you and to bless you and to multiply you and to bless fruit belly: womb your and fruit land: soil your grain your and new wine your and oil your offspring cattle your and young flock your upon [the] land: soil which to swear to/for father your to/for to give: give to/for you

او شما را دوست خواهد داشت و برکت خواهد داد و از شما قومی بزرگ به وجود خواهد آورد. او شما را بارور نموده، زمین و حیواناتتان را برکت خواهد داد تا محصول زیادی از گندم، انگور، زیتون و گله‌های گاو و گوسفند داشته باشید. تمام این برکات را در سرزمینی که با سوگند به پدرانتان وعده فرمود، به شما خواهد بخشید.

14 to bless to be from all [the] people not to be in/on/with you barren and barren and in/on/with animal your

بیشتر از تمامی قومهای روی زمین برکت خواهید یافت و در میان شما و حتی میان گله‌هایتان نازا وجود نخواهد داشت.

15 and to turn aside: remove LORD from you all sickness and all disease Egypt [the] bad: evil which to know not to set: put them in/on/with you and to give: put them in/on/with all to hate you

خداوند تمام بیماریهایتان را از شما دور نموده، اجازه نخواهد داد به هیچ‌کدام از بیماریهای هولناکی که در مصر دیده‌اید دچار شوید. او همهٔ این بیماریها را به دشمنانتان خواهد داد.

16 and to eat [obj] all [the] people which LORD God your to give: give to/for you not to pity eye your upon them and not to serve: minister [obj] God their for snare he/she/it to/for you

تمامی قومهایی را که خداوند، خدایتان به دست شما گرفتار می‌سازد نابود کنید. به ایشان رحم نکنید و خدایان ایشان را پرستش ننمایید، و گرنه در دام مهلکی گرفتار خواهید شد.

17 for to say in/on/with heart your many [the] nation [the] these from me how? be able to/for to possess: take them

شاید پیش خودتان فکر کنید: «چگونه می‌توانیم بر این قومهایی که از ما قویترند پیروز شویم؟»

18 not to fear from them to remember to remember [obj] which to make: do LORD God your to/for Pharaoh and to/for all Egypt

ولی از آنها باک نداشته باشید! کافیست آنچه را خداوند، خدایتان با فرعون و سراسر سرزمین مصر کرد به خاطر آورید.

19 [the] trial [the] great: large which to see: see eye your and [the] sign: miraculous and [the] wonder and [the] hand: power [the] strong and [the] arm [the] to stretch which to come out: send you LORD God your so to make: do LORD God your to/for all [the] people which you(m. s.) afraid from face of their

آیا بلاهای وحشتناکی را که خداوند بر سر آنها آورد و شما با چشمان خود آن را دیدید و نیز معجزات بزرگ و قوت و قدرت خداوند را که بدان وسیله شما را از سرزمین مصر بیرون آورد به خاطر دارید؟ پس بدانید که خداوند، خدایتان همین قدرت را علیه مردمی که از آنها می‌ترسید به کار خواهد برد.

20 and also [obj] [the] hornet to send: depart LORD God your in/on/with them till to perish [the] to remain and [the] to hide from face of your

از این گذشته، خداوند، خدایتان زنبورهای سرخ و درشتی خواهد فرستاد تا آن عده از دشمنانتان را نیز که خود را پنهان کرده‌اند، نابود سازد.

21 not to tremble from face of their for LORD God your in/on/with entrails: among your God great: large and to fear: revere

بنابراین از آن قومها نترسید، زیرا خداوند، خدایتان در میان شماست. او خدایی است بزرگ و مهیب.

22 and to slip LORD God your [obj] [the] nation [the] these from face: before your little little not be able to end: finish them quickly lest to multiply upon you living thing [the] land: wildlife

یهوه خدایتان به تدریج آنها را بیرون خواهد راند. این کار را به سرعت انجام نخواهد داد، زیرا اگر چنین کند حیوانات وحشی به‌زودی افزایش یافته، برای شما ایجاد خطر خواهند کرد.

23 and to give: give them LORD God your to/for face: before your and to confuse them tumult great: large till to destroy they

اما یهوه خدایتان این کار را به تدریج انجام خواهد داد و شما هم به آن قومها حمله نموده، آنها را از بین خواهید برد.

24 and to give: give king their in/on/with hand: power your and to perish [obj] name their from underneath: under [the] heaven not to stand man: anyone in/on/with face: before your till to destroy you [obj] them

او پادشاهان آنها را به دست شما خواهد سپرد و شما نام ایشان را از صفحهٔ روزگار محو خواهید کرد. هیچ‌کس یارای مقاومت در برابر شما را نخواهد داشت، و شما همگی آنها را نابود خواهید کرد.

25 idol God their to burn [emph?] in/on/with fire not to desire silver: money and gold upon them and to take: take to/for you lest to snare in/on/with him for abomination LORD God your he/she/it

بتهایشان را بسوزانید و به طلا و نقره‌ای که این بتها از آن ساخته شده‌اند طمع نکنید و آن را برندارید و گرنه گرفتار خواهید شد، زیرا خداوند، خدایتان از بتها متنفر است.

26 and not to come (in): bring abomination to(wards) house: home your and to be devoted thing like him to detest to detest him and to abhor to abhor him for devoted thing he/she/it

بُتی را به خانهٔ خود نبرید، چون همان لعنتی که بر آن است بر شما نیز خواهد بود. از بتها نفرت و کراهت داشته باشید، چون لعنت شده‌اند.
