< Deuteronomy 34 >

1 and to ascend: rise Moses from Plains (of Moab) (Plains of) Moab to(wards) mountain: mount (Mount) Nebo head: top [the] Pisgah which upon face: before Jericho and to see: see him LORD [obj] all [the] land: country/planet [obj] [the] Gilead till Dan
Then Moses climbed up from the plains in the Moab [region] to the top of Pisgah Peak on Nebo Mountain, across [the Jordan River] from Jericho. There Yahweh showed him all the land [that the Israelis would occupy]. He showed him the Gilead [region] as far north as Dan [city];
2 and [obj] all Naphtali and [obj] land: country/planet Ephraim and Manasseh and [obj] all land: country/planet Judah till [the] sea [the] last
all [the land that the tribe of] Naphtali would occupy; all the land [that the tribes] of Ephraim and Manasseh [had occupied]; all the land [that the tribe of] Judah would occupy as far west as the Mediterranean sea;
3 and [obj] [the] Negeb and [obj] [the] Plain (of Jericho) Valley (of Jericho) (Plain of) Jericho Ir-hatmarim [the] Ir-hatmarim till Zoar
the desert [area in the south part of Judah]; and the [Jordan] Valley that extends from Jericho [in the north] to Zoar [city in the south].
4 and to say LORD to(wards) him this [the] land: country/planet which to swear to/for Abraham to/for Isaac and to/for Jacob to/for to say to/for seed: children your to give: give her to see: see you in/on/with eye your and there [to] not to pass
Then Yahweh said to him, “You have now seen this land that I solemnly promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have allowed you to see it [from a distance], but you will not go there.”
5 and to die there Moses servant/slave LORD in/on/with land: country/planet Moab upon lip: word LORD
So Moses, who [always] served Yahweh [faithfully], died there [on that mountain] in the Moab [region], which is what Yahweh said would happen.
6 and to bury [obj] him in/on/with valley in/on/with land: country/planet Moab opposite Beth-peor Beth-peor and not to know man: anyone [obj] tomb his till [the] day: today [the] this
Yahweh buried Moses’ body in a valley in the Moab [region], opposite/near Beth-Peor [town], but no one to this day knows where Yahweh buried him.
7 and Moses son: aged hundred and twenty year in/on/with to die he not to grow dim eye his and not to flee vigor his
Moses was 120 years old when he died, but he was still very strong, and he could still see [MTY] very well.
8 and to weep son: descendant/people Israel [obj] Moses in/on/with Plains (of Moab) (Plains of) Moab thirty day and to finish day weeping mourning Moses
The Israeli people mourned for him in the plains of the Moab [region] for 30 days.
9 and Joshua son: child Nun full spirit wisdom for to support Moses [obj] hand his upon him and to hear: obey to(wards) him son: descendant/people Israel and to make: do like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses
God caused Joshua to be very wise, because Moses had put his hands on Joshua [to appoint him to be their new leader]. The Israeli people obeyed Joshua, and they obeyed all the commands that Yahweh had given to Moses to tell to the Israeli people.
10 and not to arise: rise prophet still in/on/with Israel like/as Moses which to know him LORD face to(wards) face
Since the time that Moses [lived], there has never been a prophet in Israel like him. Yahweh spoke to him face-to-face/directly.
11 to/for all [the] sign: miraculous and [the] wonder which to send: depart him LORD to/for to make: do in/on/with land: country/planet Egypt to/for Pharaoh and to/for all servant/slave his and to/for all land: country/planet his
No other prophet has performed all the kinds of [DOU] miracles that Yahweh sent Moses to perform in front of the king of Egypt, his officials, and all [HYP] the people of Egypt.
12 and to/for all [the] hand: power [the] strong and to/for all [the] fear [the] great: large which to make: do Moses to/for eye: seeing all Israel
No other prophet has been able to do all the great and terrifying things that Moses did while all the Israelis watched.
