Deuteronomy 21
1 for to find slain: killed in/on/with land: soil which LORD God your to give: give to/for you to/for to possess: take her to fall: kill in/on/with land: country not to know who? to smite him
Si, sur le sol que Yahweh, ton Dieu, te donne pour le posséder, on trouve un homme tué, gisant dans les champs, sans que l’on sache qui l’a frappé,
2 and to come out: come old: elder your and to judge you and to measure to(wards) [the] city which around [the] slain: killed
tes anciens et tes juges iront mesurer les distances jusqu’aux villes des environs de l’endroit où est l’homme tué.
3 and to be [the] city [the] near to(wards) [the] slain: killed and to take: take old: elder [the] city [the] he/she/it heifer cattle which not to serve: labour in/on/with her which not to draw in/on/with yoke
Et, quant à la ville la plus proche de l’homme tué, les anciens de cette ville prendront une génisse qui n’aura pas encore été employée au travail et qui n’aura pas tiré au joug.
4 and to go down old: elder [the] city [the] he/she/it [obj] [the] heifer to(wards) torrent: valley strong which not to serve: labour in/on/with him and not to sow and to break the neck there [obj] [the] heifer in/on/with torrent: valley
Les anciens de cette ville feront descendre la génisse vers un ruisseau permanent, dans un lieu qui n’a reçu ni culture ni semence, et là ils briseront la nuque de la génisse dans le ruisseau.
5 and to approach: approach [the] priest son: child Levi for in/on/with them to choose LORD God your to/for to minister him and to/for to bless in/on/with name LORD and upon lip: word their to be all strife and all plague
Les prêtres, fils de Lévi, s’approcheront; car ce sont eux que Yahweh, ton Dieu, a choisis pour le servir et pour bénir au nom de Yahweh, et c’est sur leur parole que se juge toute contestation et toute blessure.
6 and all old: elder [the] city [the] he/she/it [the] near to(wards) [the] slain: killed to wash: wash [obj] hand their upon [the] heifer [the] to break the neck in/on/with torrent: valley
Tous les anciens de cette ville, comme étant les plus voisins de l’homme tué, laveront leurs mains sur la génisse à laquelle on a brisé la nuque dans le ruisseau.
7 and to answer and to say hand our not (to pour: kill *Q(K)*) [obj] [the] blood [the] this and eye our not to see: see
Puis ils prendront la parole en disant: « Nos mains n’ont pas répandu ce sang, et nos yeux ne l’ont pas vu répandre.
8 to atone to/for people your Israel which to ransom LORD and not to give: put blood innocent in/on/with entrails: among people your Israel and to atone to/for them [the] blood
Pardonnez à votre peuple d’Israël que vous avez racheté, ô Yahweh, et ne laissez pas le sang innocent au milieu de votre peuple d’Israël! » Et ce sang sera expié pour eux.
9 and you(m. s.) to burn: purge [the] blood [the] innocent from entrails: among your for to make: do [the] upright in/on/with eye: seeing LORD
C’est ainsi que tu ôteras du milieu de toi le sang innocent, en faisant ce qui est droit aux yeux de Yahweh.
10 for to come out: come to/for battle upon enemy your and to give: give him LORD God your in/on/with hand: power your and to take captive captivity his
Quand tu sortiras pour combattre contre tes ennemis, et que Yahweh, ton Dieu, les aura livrés entre tes mains et que tu leur feras des prisonniers,
11 and to see: see in/on/with captive woman beautiful appearance and to desire in/on/with her and to take: take to/for you to/for woman: wife
si tu vois parmi les captifs une femme de belle figure, et que, épris d’amour pour elle, tu veuilles l’épouser,
12 and to come (in): bring her to(wards) midst house: home your and to shave [obj] head her and to make: do [obj] fingernail her
tu l’amèneras dans l’intérieur de ta maison. Alors elle se rasera la tête et se coupera les ongles;
13 and to turn aside: remove [obj] mantle captivity her from upon her and to dwell in/on/with house: home your and to weep [obj] father her and [obj] mother her month day and after so to come (in): come to(wards) her and master: husband her and to be to/for you to/for woman: wife
elle se dépouillera des vêtements de sa captivité, elle demeurera dans ta maison et pleurera pendant un mois son père et sa mère; après quoi, tu iras vers elle, tu seras son mari et elle sera ta femme.
14 and to be if not to delight in in/on/with her and to send: let go her to/for soul: appetite her and to sell not to sell her in/on/with silver: money not to tyranise in/on/with her underneath: because of which to afflict her
Si elle cesse de te plaire, tu la laisseras aller où elle voudra, et tu ne pourras pas la vendre pour de l’argent; tu ne la traiteras pas comme une esclave, car tu l’as eue pour femme.
15 for to be to/for man two woman: wife [the] one to love: lover and [the] one to hate and to beget to/for him son: child [the] to love: lover and [the] to hate and to be [the] son: child [the] firstborn to/for hated
Si un homme a deux femmes, l’une aimée et l’autre haïe, et qu’elles lui aient enfanté des fils, aussi bien celle qui est aimée que celle qui est haïe, si le fils premier-né est le fils de celle qui est haïe,
16 and to be in/on/with day to inherit he [obj] son: child his [obj] which to be to/for him not be able to/for to be/bear firstborn [obj] son: child [the] to love: lover upon face son: child [the] to hate [the] firstborn
il ne pourra pas, le jour où il mettra ses fils en possession de ses biens, faire premier-né le fils de celle qu’il aime, de préférence au fils de celle qu’il hait, celui-ci étant le premier-né.
17 for [obj] [the] firstborn son: child [the] to hate to recognize to/for to give: give to/for him lip: according two in/on/with all which to find to/for him for he/she/it first: beginning strength his to/for him justice [the] birthright
Mais il reconnaîtra comme premier-né le fils de celle qui est haïe, et lui donnera sur tous ses biens une portion double; car ce fils est les prémices de sa vigueur; c’est à lui qu’appartient le droit d’aînesse.
18 for to be to/for man: anyone son: child to rebel and to rebel nothing he to hear: obey in/on/with voice father his and in/on/with voice mother his (and to discipline *L(abh)*) [obj] him and not to hear: hear to(wards) them
Si un homme a un fils indocile et rebelle, n’écoutant ni la voix de son père, ni la voix de sa mère et, lors même qu’ils le châtient, ne les écoutant pas,
19 and to capture in/on/with him father his and mother his and to come out: send [obj] him to(wards) old: elder city his and to(wards) gate place his
son père et sa mère le saisiront et l’amèneront aux anciens de la ville et à la porte du lieu qu’il habite.
20 and to say to(wards) old: elder city his son: child our this to rebel and to rebel nothing he to hear: obey in/on/with voice our be vile and be drunk
Ils diront aux anciens de la ville: « Notre fils que voici est indocile et rebelle, il n’écoute pas notre voix, il se livre à la débauche et à l’ivrognerie. »
21 and to stone him all human city his in/on/with stone and to die and to burn: purge [the] bad: evil from entrails: among your and all Israel to hear: hear and to fear
Et tous les hommes de sa ville le lapideront, et il mourra. Tu ôteras ainsi le mal du milieu de toi, et tout Israël, en l’apprenant, craindra.
22 and for to be in/on/with man: anyone sin justice: judgement death and to die and to hang [obj] him upon tree
Quand un homme, ayant commis un crime capital, aura été mis à mort, et que tu l’auras pendu à un bois,
23 not to lodge carcass his upon [the] tree for to bury to bury him in/on/with day [the] he/she/it for curse God to hang and not to defile [obj] land: soil your which LORD God your to give: give to/for you inheritance
son cadavre ne passera pas la nuit sur le bois; mais tu ne manqueras pas de l’enterrer le jour même, car un pendu est l’objet de la malédiction de Dieu, et tu ne souilleras pas ton pays, que Yahweh, ton Dieu, te donne pour héritage.
