Deuteronomy 19
1 for to cut: eliminate LORD God your [obj] [the] nation which LORD God your to give: give to/for you [obj] land: country/planet their and to possess: take them and to dwell in/on/with city their and in/on/with house: home their
Lorsque le Seigneur ton Dieu aura détruit les nations dont il va te livrer la terre, et que tu la posséderas, et que tu habiteras dans les villes et dans les maisons,
2 three city to separate to/for you in/on/with midst land: country/planet your which LORD God your to give: give to/for you to/for to possess: take her
Tu sépareras trois villes au milieu de la terre que le Seigneur ton Dieu te donnera en possession,
3 to establish: right to/for you [the] way: road and to do three [obj] border: area land: country/planet your which to inherit you LORD God your and to be to/for to flee there [to] all to murder
Aplanissant soigneusement la voie; et tu partageras en trois parties égales toute l’étendue de ta terre, afin que le fugitif pour cause d’homicide ait dans le voisinage où pouvoir se réfugier.
4 and this word: case [the] to murder which to flee there [to] and to live which to smite [obj] neighbor his in/on/with without knowledge and he/she/it not to hate to/for him from yesterday three days ago
Voici la loi de l’homicide fuyant, dont la vie doit être conservée: Celui qui a frappé son prochain, sans s’en apercevoir, et qui est reconnu pour n’avoir eu hier et avant-hier aucune haine contre lui,
5 and which to come (in): come with neighbor his in/on/with wood to/for to chop tree: wood and to banish hand his in/on/with axe to/for to cut: cut [the] tree and to slip [the] iron from [the] tree: stake and to find [obj] neighbor his and to die he/she/it to flee to(wards) one [the] city [the] these and to live
Mais pour être allé simplement avec lui dans la forêt couper du bois, si en coupant le bois la cognée est échappée de sa main, et que le fer sortant du manche ait frappé son ami et l’ait tué, celui-là se réfugiera dans une des susdites villes, et vivra;
6 lest to pursue to redeem: avenge [the] blood after [the] to murder for to warm heart his and to overtake him for to multiply [the] way: journey and to smite him soul: myself and to/for him nothing justice: judgement death for not to hate he/she/it to/for him from yesterday three days ago
De peur que le plus proche parent de celui dont le sang a été versé, excité par sa douleur, ne le poursuive et ne l’atteigne, si le chemin est trop long, et ne frappe l’âme de celui qui ne mérite point la mort, parce qu’il est démontré qu’il n’a eu auparavant aucune haine contre celui qui a été tué.
7 upon so I to command you to/for to say three city to separate to/for you
C’est pourquoi je t’ordonne de placer les trois villes dans une égale distance entre elles.
8 and if to enlarge LORD God your [obj] border: area your like/as as which to swear to/for father your and to give: give to/for you [obj] all [the] land: country/planet which to speak: promise to/for to give: give to/for father your
Mais lorsque le Seigneur ton Dieu aura étendu tes limites, comme il l’a juré à tes pères, et qu’il t’aura donné toute la terre qu’il leur a promise,
9 for to keep: careful [obj] all [the] commandment [the] this to/for to make: do her which I to command you [the] day to/for to love: lover [obj] LORD God your and to/for to go: walk in/on/with way: conduct his all [the] day: today and to add to/for you still three city upon [the] three [the] these
(Si cependant tu gardes ses commandements, et que tu fasses ce qu’aujourd’hui je te prescris: que tu aimes le Seigneur ton Dieu et que tu marches dans ses voies en tout temps) tu ajouteras trois autres villes, et tu doubleras ainsi le nombre des trois susdites villes,
10 and not to pour: kill blood innocent in/on/with entrails: among land: country/planet your which LORD God your to give: give to/for you inheritance and to be upon you blood
Afin qu’un sang innocent ne soit pas versé au milieu de la terre que le Seigneur ton Dieu te donnera pour la posséder, afin que tu ne sois pas coupable de sang.
11 and for to be man: anyone to hate to/for neighbor his and to ambush to/for him and to arise: attack upon him and to smite him soul: life and to die and to flee to(wards) one [the] city [the] these
Mais si quelqu’un, haïssant son prochain, tend des pièges à sa vie, et que, se levant, il le frappe, et que, celui-ci étant mort, il s’enfuie dans une des susdites villes,
12 and to send: depart old: elder city his and to take: take [obj] him from there and to give: give [obj] him in/on/with hand: to to redeem: avenge [the] blood and to die
Les anciens de sa ville enverront, et l’enlèveront du lieu de refuge et le livreront à la main du parent de celui dont le sang a été versé, et il mourra.
13 not to pity eye your upon him and to burn: purge blood [the] innocent from Israel and be pleasing to/for you
Tu n’auras pas pitié de lui, et tu ôteras d’Israël le sang innocent, afin que bien t’arrive.
14 not to remove border: boundary neighbor your which to border first: previous in/on/with inheritance your which to inherit in/on/with land: country/planet which LORD God your to give: give to/for you to/for to possess: take her
Tu n’enlèveras, et tu ne déplaceras point les bornes de ton prochain, que des prédécesseurs ont posées dans ta possession que le Seigneur ton Dieu te donnera dans la terre que tu recevras pour la posséder.
15 not to arise: establish witness one in/on/with man: anyone to/for all iniquity: crime and to/for all sin in/on/with all sin which to sin upon lip: word two witness or upon lip: word three witness to arise: establish word
Il ne se présentera point un seul témoin contre quelqu’un, quel que soit son péché et son crime; mais c’est sur la parole de deux ou trois témoins que tout sera avéré.
16 for to arise: rise witness violence in/on/with man: anyone to/for to answer in/on/with him revolt
S’il s’élève un témoin menteur contre un homme, l’accusant de prévarication,
17 and to stand: stand two [the] human which to/for them [the] strife to/for face: before LORD to/for face: before [the] priest and [the] to judge which to be in/on/with day [the] they(masc.)
Les deux qui sont en cause viendront devant le Seigneur en la présence des prêtres et des juges qu’il y aura en ces jours-là.
18 and to seek [the] to judge be good and behold witness deception [the] witness deception to answer in/on/with brother: compatriot his
Et lorsqu’après avoir fait la plus exacte perquisition, ils auront trouvé que le faux témoin a dit contre son frère un mensonge,
19 and to make: do to/for him like/as as which to plan to/for to make: do to/for brother: compatriot his and to burn: purge [the] bad: evil from entrails: among your
Ils lui rendront ce qu’il avait eu dessein de faire à son frère, et tu ôteras le mal d’au milieu de toi,
20 and [the] to remain to hear: hear and to fear and not to add: again to/for to make still like/as word: thing [the] bad: evil [the] this in/on/with entrails: among your
Afin que tous les autres entendant, éprouvent de la crainte, et qu’ils n’osent nullement faire de telles choses.
21 and not to pity eye your soul: life in/on/with soul: life eye in/on/with eye tooth in/on/with tooth hand in/on/with hand foot in/on/with foot
Tu n’auras point pitié de lui; mais tu exigeras âme pour âme, œil pour œil, dent pour dent, main pour main, pied pour pied.
