Deuteronomy 18

Allahınız Rəbb onları və övladlarını bütün qəbilələriniz arasından seçdi ki, daim Rəbbin adına xidmətdə dayansınlar.

Əgər bir Levili yaşadığı İsrail şəhərlərinin birindən könüllü surətdə Rəbbin seçəcəyi yerə gedərsə,

orada Allahı Rəbbin qarşısında dayanan Levili soydaşları kimi Rəbbin naminə xidmət edə bilsin.

Allahınız Rəbbin gözü önündə kamil olun.

Çünki torpaqlarını alacağınız millətlərin hamısı gələcəyideyənlərin və falçıların nəsihətlərinə qulaq asırlar. Amma Allahınız Rəbb sizin üçün buna izin vermir.
15 prophet from entrails: among your from brother: compatriot your like me to arise: establish to/for you LORD God your to(wards) him to hear: hear [emph?]
Allahınız Rəbb sizin üçün aranızdan – öz soydaşlarınız içərisindən mənim kimi bir peyğəmbər yetirəcək. Ona qulaq asın.
16 like/as all which to ask from from with LORD God your in/on/with Horeb in/on/with day [the] assembly to/for to say not to add: again to/for to hear: hear [obj] voice LORD God my and [obj] [the] fire [the] great: large [the] this not to see: see still and not to die
Çünki Xorevdə yığıldığınız gün Allahınız Rəbdən bunu diləmişdiniz: “Qoy bir də Allahımız Rəbbin səsini eşitməyək və bir daha bu böyük alovu görməyək, yoxsa ölərik”.

Onda Rəbb mənə dedi: “Dedikləri doğrudur.

Onlar üçün soydaşları arasından sənin kimi bir peyğəmbər yetirəcəyəm və sözlərimi onun dilindən eşidəcəksiniz. O əmr etdiyim hər şeyi sizə söyləyəcək.

Lakin hansı bir peyğəmbər ona əmr etmədiyim sözü Mənim adımdan danışmağa cürət edərsə yaxud başqa allahların adından danışarsa, o peyğəmbər öldürülsün”.

“Axı bu sözün Rəbdən olub-olmadığını necə bilək?” deyə düşünə bilərsiniz.

Əgər bir peyğəmbər Rəbbin adından danışanda dediyi söz həyata keçməzsə yaxud düz çıxmazsa, bilin ki, onu Rəbb söyləməmişdir. O peyğəmbərin dediklərinin səlahiyyəti yoxdur. Ondan qorxmayın.
