Deuteronomy 14

1 son: child you(m. p.) to/for LORD God your not to cut and not to set: make bald spot between eye your to/for to die

شما فرزندان یهوه خدای خود هستید، پس هنگام عزاداری برای مردگان خود، مثل بت‌پرستان، خود را زخمی نکنید و موی جلوی سرتان را نتراشید،

2 for people holy you(m. s.) to/for LORD God your and in/on/with you to choose LORD to/for to be to/for him to/for people possession from all [the] people which upon face: surface [the] land: planet

زیرا شما برای یهوه خدایتان قومی مقدّسید، و او شما را از میان قومهای روی زمین برگزیده است تا قوم خاص او باشید.

3 not to eat all abomination

گوشت هیچ حیوانی را که من آن را حرام اعلام کرده‌ام نباید بخورید. حیواناتی که می‌توانید گوشت آنها را بخورید از این قرارند: گاو، گوسفند، بز، آهو، غزال، گوزن و انواع بز کوهی.

4 this [the] animal which to eat cattle sheep sheep and sheep goat

5 deer and gazelle and roebuck and wild goat and ibex and antelope and mountain goat

6 and all animal to divide hoof and to cleave cleft two hoof to ascend: regurgitate cud in/on/with animal [obj] her to eat

هر حیوانی را که سم شکافته دارد و نشخوار می‌کند می‌توانید بخورید.

7 surely [obj] this not to eat from to ascend: regurgitate [the] cud and from to divide [the] hoof [the] to cleave [obj] [the] camel and [obj] [the] hare and [obj] [the] rock badger for to ascend: regurgitate cud they(masc.) and hoof not to divide unclean they(masc.) to/for you

پس اگر حیوانی این دو خصوصیت را نداشته باشد، نباید آن را بخورید. بنابراین شتر، خرگوش و گورکن را نباید بخورید. اینها نشخوار می‌کنند، ولی سمهای شکافته ندارند.

8 and [obj] [the] swine for to divide hoof he/she/it and not cud unclean he/she/it to/for you from flesh their not to eat and in/on/with carcass their not to touch

خوک را نباید بخورید، چون با اینکه سم شکافته دارد نشخوار نمی‌کند. حتی به لاشهٔ چنین حیواناتی نباید دست بزنید.

9 [obj] this to eat from all which in/on/with water all which to/for him fin and scale to eat

از حیواناتی که در آب زندگی می‌کنند فقط آنهایی را که باله و فلس دارند می‌توانید بخورید.

10 and all which nothing to/for him fin and scale not to eat unclean he/she/it to/for you

تمام جانوران آبزی دیگر برای شما حرامند.

11 all bird pure to eat

همۀ پرندگان طاهر را می‌توانید بخورید.

12 and this which not to eat from them [the] eagle and [the] vulture and [the] vulture

اما اینها را نباید بخورید: عقاب، لاشخور و لاشخور سیاه؛

13 and [the] glede and [obj] [the] falcon and [the] hawk to/for kind her

زَغَن، شاهین و شاهین به نوعش؛

14 and [obj] all raven to/for kind his

هر قسم کلاغ به نوعش؛

15 and [obj] daughter [the] ostrich and [obj] [the] ostrich and [obj] [the] gull and [obj] [the] hawk to/for kind his

شترمرغ، جغد، مرغ نوروزی و باز به نوعش؛

16 [obj] [the] owl and [obj] [the] owl and [the] chameleon

بوم، جغد بزرگ، جغد سفید،

17 and [the] pelican and [obj] [the] carrion [to] and [obj] [the] cormorant

و جغد صحرایی؛ کرکس، مرغ غواص،

18 and [the] stork and [the] heron to/for kind her and [the] hoopoe and [the] bat

لک‌لک و مرغ ماهیخوار به نوعش؛ هُدهُد و خفاش.

19 and all swarm [the] bird unclean he/she/it to/for you not to eat

همۀ حشرات بالدار برای شما حرامند، و نباید خورده شوند.

20 all bird pure to eat

اما همۀ پرندگان حلال گوشت را می‌توانید بخورید.

21 not to eat all carcass to/for sojourner which in/on/with gate: town your to give: give her and to eat her or to sell to/for foreign for people holy you(m. s.) to/for LORD God your not to boil kid in/on/with milk mother his

حیوانی را که به مرگ طبیعی مرده است نخورید. آن را به غریبی که در میان شما باشد بدهید تا بخورد و یا آن را به بیگانگان بفروشید؛ ولی خودتان آن را نخورید، چون برای یهوه خدایتان قومی مقدّس هستید. بزغاله را در شیر مادرش نپزید.

22 to tithe to tithe [obj] all produce seed your [the] to come out: produce [the] land: country year year

از تمامی محصولاتتان هر ساله باید یک دهم را کنار بگذارید.

23 and to eat to/for face: before LORD God your in/on/with place which to choose to/for to dwell name his there tithe grain your new wine your and oil your and firstborn cattle your and flock your because to learn: learn to/for to fear: revere [obj] LORD God your all [the] day: always

این ده‌یک را بیاورید تا در محلی که یهوه، خدایتان به عنوان عبادتگاه خود انتخاب خواهد کرد در حضورش بخورید. این شامل عشریه‌های غله، شراب تازه، روغن زیتون و نخست‌زادهٔ گله‌ها و رمه‌هایتان می‌باشد. منظور از این کار این است که بیاموزید همیشه خداوند را در زندگی خود احترام کنید.

24 and for to multiply from you [the] way: journey for not be able to lift: bear him for to remove from you [the] place which to choose LORD God your to/for to set: make name his there for to bless you LORD God your

اگر مکانی که خداوند به عنوان عبادتگاه خود انتخاب می‌کند به قدری دور باشد که براحتی نتوانید ده‌یک‌های خود را از برکاتی که یهوه خدایتان به شما داده، به آنجا حمل کنید،

25 and to give: give in/on/with silver: money and to confine [the] silver: money in/on/with hand your and to go: went to(wards) [the] place which to choose LORD God your in/on/with him

آنگاه می‌توانید ده‌یک محصولات و رمه‌هایتان را بفروشید و پولش را به مکانی که یهوه خدایتان برمی‌گزیند، ببرید.

26 and to give: give [the] silver: money in/on/with all which to desire soul: myself your in/on/with cattle and in/on/with flock and in/on/with wine and in/on/with strong drink and in/on/with all which to ask you soul: appetite your and to eat there to/for face: before LORD God your and to rejoice you(m. s.) and house: household your

وقتی که به آنجا رسیدید با آن پول هر چه خواستید بخرید گاو، گوسفند، شراب یا مشروبات دیگر تا در آنجا در حضور خداوند، خدایتان جشن گرفته، با خانوادهٔ خود به شادی بپردازید.

27 and [the] Levi which in/on/with gate: town your not to leave: neglect him for nothing to/for him portion and inheritance with you

در ضمن لاویان شهرتان را فراموش نکنید، چون آنها مثل شما صاحب ملک و محصول نیستند.

28 from end three year to come out: send [obj] all tithe produce your in/on/with year [the] he/she/it and to rest in/on/with gate: town your

در آخر هر سه سال باید عشریهٔ تمام محصولات خود را در شهر خود جمع کنید

29 and to come (in): come [the] Levi for nothing to/for him portion and inheritance with you and [the] sojourner and [the] orphan and [the] widow which in/on/with gate: town your and to eat and to satisfy because to bless you LORD God your in/on/with all deed: work hand your which to make: do

تا آن را به لاویان که در میان شما ملکی ندارند، و همچنین غریبان، بیوه‌زنان و یتیمان داخل شهرتان بدهید تا بخورند و سیر شوند. آنگاه خداوند، خدایتان شما را در کارهایتان برکت خواهد داد.
