Daniel 8
1 in/on/with year three to/for royalty Belshazzar [the] king vision to see: see to(wards) me I Daniel after [the] to see: see to(wards) me in/on/with beginning
૧બેલ્શાસ્સાર રાજાના રાજ્યના ત્રીજા વર્ષે મેં, દાનિયેલે અગાઉ જે સંદર્શન જોયું હતું તેના જેવું બીજું સંદર્શન જોયું.
2 and to see: see in/on/with vision and to be in/on/with to see: see I and I in/on/with Susa [the] palace which in/on/with Elam [the] province and to see: see in/on/with vision and I to be upon river Ulai
૨સંદર્શનમાં મેં જોયું, કે હું એલામ પ્રાંતના કિલ્લા સૂસાના નગરમાં હતો. સંદર્શનમાં મારા જોવામાં આવ્યું કે હું ઉલાઈ નદીને કિનારે ઊભો હતો.
3 and to lift: look eye my and to see: see and behold ram one to stand: stand to/for face: before [the] river and to/for him horn and [the] horn high and [the] one high from [the] second and [the] high to ascend: rise in/on/with last
૩મેં મારી નજર ઉપર કરીને જોયું તો મારી આગળ બે શિંગડાંવાળો બકરો નદી આગળ ઊભેલો હતો. તેનું એક શિંગડું બીજા કરતાં લાંબું હતું, પણ લાંબું શિંગડું ધીમેથી વૃદ્ધિ પામતું હતું અને તે પાછળથી લાંબું થયું.
4 to see: see [obj] [the] ram to gore sea: west [to] and north [to] and south [to] and all living thing not to stand: stand to/for face: before his and nothing to rescue from hand: power his and to make: do like/as acceptance his and to magnify
૪મેં તે બકરાને પશ્ચિમ તરફ, ઉત્તર તરફ અને દક્ષિણ તરફ શિંગડાં મારતો જોયો; તેની આગળ બીજું કોઈ પશુ ઊભું રહી શકતું નહોતું. તેની પાસેથી કોઈ પોતાને છોડાવી શકે એમ નહોતું. તે પોતાની મરજી પ્રમાણે કરતો હતો અને ઘમંડ કરતો હતો.
5 and I to be to understand and behold male goat [the] goat to come (in): come from [the] west upon face: surface all [the] land: country/planet and nothing to touch in/on/with land: soil and [the] male goat horn vision between eye his
૫આ વિષે હું વિચારતો હતો, તો મેં જોયું કે પશ્ચિમ તરફથી એક બકરો અતિશય વેગથી પૃથ્વી પર આક્રમણ કરતો ઘસી આવ્યો, તેના પગ જમીનને અડકતા પણ નહોતા. તે બકરાની આંખો વચ્ચે એક મોટું શિંગડું હતું.
6 and to come (in): come till [the] ram master: owning [the] horn which to see: see to stand: stand to/for face: before [the] river and to run: run to(wards) him in/on/with rage strength his
૬જે શિંગડાવાળા બકરાને મેં નદીકાંઠે ઊભેલો જોયો હતો, તેની પાસે તે આવ્યો-તે બકરો પેલા બકરા તરફ પૂરા સામર્થ્યથી ઘસી ગયો.
7 and to see: see him to touch beside [the] ram and to provoke to(wards) him and to smite [obj] [the] ram and to break [obj] two horn his and not to be strength in/on/with ram to/for to stand: stand to/for face: before his and to throw him land: soil [to] and to trample him and not to be to rescue to/for ram from hand: power his
૭મેં બકરાને તેની નજીક આવતો જોયો. તે બકરા પર ક્રોધે ભરાયો હતો, તેણે પેલા બકરા ઉપર હુમલો કર્યો અને તેના બન્ને શિંગડાં ભાંગી નાખ્યાં. એ બકરો તેની આગળ ઊભો રહેવાને અશક્ત હતો. આવેલા બકરાએ તેને નીચે પછાડી દીધો અને તેને કચડી નાખ્યો. કેમ કે તેના બળથી તેને બચાવનાર કોઈ જ ન હતું.
8 and male goat [the] goat to magnify till much and like/as be vast he to break [the] horn [the] great: large and to ascend: rise vision four underneath: instead her to/for four spirit: breath [the] heaven
૮ત્યારે તે બકરાએ ઘણું મહત્વ ધારણ કર્યું. પણ જ્યારે તે બળવાન થયો ત્યારે તેનું મોટું શિંગડું ભાંગી ગયું, તેની જગ્યાએ આકાશના ચાર પવન તરફ ચાર મોટા શિંગડાં ફૂટી નીકળ્યાં.
9 and from [the] one from them to come out: come horn one from little and to magnify remainder to(wards) [the] south and to(wards) [the] east and to(wards) [the] beauty
૯તેઓમાંથી એક નાનું શિગડું ફૂટી આવ્યું, પણ દક્ષિણ તરફ, પૂર્વ તરફ તથા રળિયામણા દેશ ઇઝરાયલ તરફ તે લંબાઈને ઘણું મોટું થયું.
10 and to magnify till army [the] heaven and to fall: fall land: soil [to] from [the] army and from [the] star and to trample them
૧૦તે વધીને આકાશના સૈન્ય સુધી પહોંચ્યું. સૈન્યોમાંના અને તારાઓમાંના કેટલાકને તેણે પૃથ્વી પર ફેંક્યા અને તેમને પગ નીચે કચડી નાખ્યા.
11 and till ruler [the] army to magnify and from him (to exalt *Q(K)*) [the] continually and to throw foundation sanctuary his
૧૧તે વધીને ઈશ્વરીય સૈન્યના સરદાર જેટલું મોટું થયું. તેણે તેની પાસેથી દરરોજનું દહનાર્પણ લઈ લીધું અને તેના પવિત્રસ્થાનને ભ્રષ્ટ કર્યું.
12 and army to give: give upon [the] continually in/on/with transgression and to throw truth: true land: soil [to] and to make: do and to prosper
૧૨બંડને કારણે સૈન્ય તથા દહનાર્પણ તેને આપી દેવામાં આવ્યું. સત્યને જમીન પર ફેંકી દીધું, પોતાની ઇચ્છા પ્રમાણે વર્ત્યું અને સફળ થયું.
13 and to hear: hear [emph?] one holy to speak: speak and to say one holy to/for certain [the] to speak: speak till how [the] vision [the] continually and [the] transgression be desolate: destroyed to give: give and holiness and army trampling
૧૩ત્યારે મેં એક પવિત્રને બોલતો સાંભળ્યો અને બીજા પવિત્રે તેને જવાબ આપ્યો, “દહનાર્પણનો અને વિનાશ કરનાર પાપ પવિત્રસ્થાનને તેમ જ આકાશના સૈન્યને તેના પગ નીચે કચડી નાખવા વિષેના સંદર્શનનો કેટલો સમય છે?”
14 and to say to(wards) me till evening morning thousand and three hundred and to justify holiness
૧૪તેણે મને કહ્યું, “બે હજાર ત્રણસો રાત્રિદિવસ સુધી, ત્યાર પછી પવિત્રસ્થાનને શુદ્ધ કરાશે.”
15 and to be in/on/with to see: see I I Daniel [obj] [the] vision and to seek [emph?] understanding and behold to stand: stand to/for before me like/as appearance great man
૧૫જ્યારે, મેં દાનિયેલે આ સંદર્શન જોયું, ત્યારે મેં તેને સમજવાનો પ્રયત્ન કર્યો. એક માણસ જેવી આકૃતિ મારી સામે ઊભી હતી.
16 and to hear: hear voice man between Ulai and to call: call by and to say Gabriel to understand to/for this [obj] [the] appearance
૧૬મેં ઉલાઈ નદીના કિનારા વચ્ચેથી મનુષ્યનો અવાજ સાંભળ્યો. તેણે કહ્યું, “ગાબ્રિયેલ, આ માણસને સંદર્શન સમજવામાં મદદ કર.”
17 and to come (in): come beside post my and in/on/with to come (in): come he to terrify and to fall: fall [emph?] upon face my and to say to(wards) me to understand son: child man for to/for time end [the] vision
૧૭તેથી તે જ્યાં હું ઊભો હતો ત્યાં મારી પાસે આવ્યો. તે પાસે આવ્યો; ત્યારે હું ડરીને નીચે જમીન પર પડી ગયો. તેણે મને કહ્યું, “હે મનુષ્યપુત્ર, સમજ, આ સંદર્શન અંતના સમયનું છે.”
18 and in/on/with to speak: speak he with me to sleep upon face my land: soil [to] and to touch in/on/with me and to stand: stand me upon post my
૧૮તે જ્યારે બોલતો હતો ત્યારે હું જમીન પર ઊંધો પડીને ભરનિદ્રામાં પડ્યો. ત્યારે તેણે મને સ્પર્શ કરીને ઊભો કર્યો.
19 and to say look! I to know you [obj] which to be in/on/with end [the] indignation for to/for meeting: time appointed end
૧૯તેણે કહ્યું, “જો, હું તને જણાવું છું કે, કોપને અંતે શું થવાનું છે, કેમ કે આ સંદર્શન ઠરાવેલા અંતના સમય વિષે છે.
20 [the] ram which to see: see master: owning [the] horn king Media and Persia
૨૦જે બે શિંગડાવાળો બકરો તે જોયો, તેઓ માદી દેશના અને ઇરાનના રાજાઓ છે.
21 and [the] male goat [the] he-goat king Greece and [the] horn [the] great: large which between eye his he/she/it [the] king [the] first
૨૧પેલો નર બકરો ગ્રીસનો રાજા છે. તેની આંખો વચ્ચેનું મોટું શિંગડું તે તો પહેલો રાજા છે.
22 and [the] to break and to stand: rise four underneath: instead her four royalty from nation to stand: rise and not in/on/with strength his
૨૨જે શિંગડું ભાંગી ગયું તેની જગ્યાએ બીજાં ચાર શિંગડાં ઊગ્યાં તે એ છે કે તે પ્રજામાંથી ચાર રાજ્યો ઊભાં થશે, પણ પોતાના બળથી નહિ.
23 and in/on/with end royalty their like/as to finish [the] to transgress to stand: rise king strong face and to understand riddle
૨૩તેઓના રાજ્યના અંતે, જ્યારે તેઓનાં ઉલ્લંઘનો તેની મર્યાદા સુધી પહોંચશે ત્યારે એક વિકરાળ ચહેરાવાળો તથા બુદ્ધિશાળી રાજા ઊભો થશે.
24 and be vast strength his and not in/on/with strength his and to wonder to ruin and to prosper and to make: do and to ruin mighty and people holy: saint
૨૪તે મહા બળવાન થશે પણ પોતાના બળથી નહિ. તે વ્યાપક રીતે વિનાશ કરશે, તે જે પણ કરશે, તેમાં તે સફળ થશે. તે શક્તિશાળી તથા પવિત્ર લોકોનો નાશ કરશે.
25 and upon understanding his and to prosper deceit in/on/with hand: power his and in/on/with heart his to magnify and in/on/with ease to ruin many and upon ruler ruler to stand: rise and in/on/with end hand: power to break
૨૫તે છેતરપિંડીથી પોતાના પ્રપંચમાં વિજયી થશે. તે રાજાઓના રાજા વિરુદ્ધ ઊભો થશે, તે તેઓને તોડી નાખશે પણ માનવ બળથી નહિ.
26 and appearance [the] evening and [the] morning which to say truth: true he/she/it and you(m. s.) to close [the] vision for to/for day many
૨૬સવાર અને સાંજ વિષે જે સંદર્શન કહેવામાં આવ્યું છે તે સાચું છે. પણ તે સંદર્શનને ગુપ્ત રાખ, કેમ કે તે ભવિષ્યના ઘણા દિવસો વિષે છે.”
27 and I Daniel to be and be weak: ill day and to arise: rise and to make: do [obj] work [the] king and be desolate: appalled upon [the] appearance and nothing to understand
૨૭પછી હું દાનિયેલ, આ સાંભળીને મૂર્છિત થયો અને ઘણા દિવસો સુધી બીમાર રહ્યો. ત્યારબાદ હું સાજો થયો અને રાજાનું કામકાજ કરવા લાગ્યો. પણ તે સંદર્શનથી હું વ્યાકુળ હતો પરંતુ કોઈને તેની સમજ પડી નહિ.
