Daniel 6
1 to acceptable before Darius and to stand: establish since kingdom [the] to/for satrap [the] hundred and twenty that to be in/on/with all kingdom [the]
၁ဒါရိမင်းသည်မိမိ၏အင်ပါယာနိုင်ငံ တစ်ဝန်းလုံးအုပ်ချုပ်မှုအတွက် ဘုရင်ခံ တစ်ရာ့နှစ်ဆယ်ကိုခန့်ထားရန်ဆုံးဖြတ် တော်မူပြီးလျှင်၊-
2 and above from them chief three that Daniel one from them that to be satrap [the] these to give to/for them account [the] and king [the] not to be to suffer injury
၂ဒံယေလနှင့်အခြားသူနှစ်ယောက်တို့ အားဘုရင်ခံများကိုကွပ်ကဲကြီးကြပ် ရန်နှင့် ဘုရင့်အကျိုးတော်ကိုစောင့်ရှောက် ရန်အတွက်ရွေးချယ်ခန့်ထားတော်မူ၏။-

၇အရှင်မင်းကြီးသည်အမိန့်တော်တစ်ရပ် ကိုထုတ်ဆင့်ကာ ထိုအမိန့်တော်ကိုလူတို့ တိကျစွာလိုက်နာကြစေသင့်ကြောင်းကြီး ကြပ်ရေးအဖွဲ့ဝင်များ၊ ဘုရင်ခံများ၊ လက် ထောက်ဘုရင်ခံများနှင့်အကြံပေးအရာ ရှိများဖြစ်သည့်နိုင်ငံတော်ကိုစီမံအုပ်ချုပ် ကြသူ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အားလုံးသဘောတူညီ ကြပါ၏။ ရက်ပေါင်းသုံးဆယ်တိုင်တိုင် အဘယ်သူမျှအရှင်မင်းကြီးမှလွဲ၍ အခြားလူထံသော်လည်းကောင်း၊ ဘုရား ထံသော်လည်းကောင်းဆုတောင်းသူမည်သူ မဆို ခြင်္သေ့လှောင်သောတွင်းထဲသို့ပစ်ချ ခြင်းကိုခံစေဟူသောအမိန့်ထုတ်တော် မူပါ။-

၈ထိုအမိန့်တော်ကိုအရှင်မင်းကြီးထုတ် ၍တံဆိပ်ခတ်နှိပ်၍လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုး တော်မူပါလျှင် ယင်းအမိန့်တော်သည်ပြင် ဆင်ပြောင်းလဲ၍မရနိုင်သောမေဒိနှင့် ပါရှလူမျိုးများ၏ဋ္ဌမ္မသတ်ဖြစ်လာ ပါလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုလျှောက်ထားကြ၏။-

၁၀မင်းကြီးဤသို့လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးပြီး ကြောင်းကိုကြားသိသောအခါ ဒံယေလ သည်အိမ်သို့ပြန်လေ၏။ သူ၏အိမ်အထက် ခန်းတွင်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့မျက်နှာမူ သည့်ပြူတင်းပေါက်များရှိ၏။ သူသည်ထို အခန်းတွင်မိမိပြုလေ့ရှိသည်အတိုင်း ပြူတင်းပေါက်များအနီးတွင် ဒူးထောက် လျက်တစ်နေ့လျှင်သုံးကြိမ်ဘုရားသခင်အားဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြုလေ၏။

၁၂တစ်စုတစ်ရုံးတည်းဘုရင့်ရှေ့တော်သို့ဝင်၍ ဒံယေလအားပြစ်တင်စွပ်စွဲကြကုန်၏။ သူ တို့က``အရှင်မင်းကြီးကိုယ်တော်သည်နောက် ရက်ပေါင်းသုံးဆယ်တိုင်တိုင်အရှင်မင်းကြီး မှလွဲ၍ အခြားလူထံသော်လည်းကောင်း၊ ဘုရားထံသော်လည်းကောင်းဆုတောင်းသူ မည်သူမဆိုခြင်္သေ့လှောင်သောတွင်းထဲသို့ ပစ်ချခြင်းကိုခံစေဟူသောအမိန့်တော် ကိုလက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးတော်မူခဲ့သည် မဟုတ်ပါလော'' ဟုမေးလျှောက်ကြ၏။ မင်းကြီးက``ထိုအမိန့်သည်ပြောင်းလဲ၍ မရသောမေဒိနှင့်ပါရှလူမျိုးတို့၏ ဋ္ဌမ္မသတ်အတိုင်းမှန်ပေ၏'' ဟုမိန့်တော် မူ၏။

၁၅ထိုနောက်မှူးမတ်အရာရှိတို့သည်အထံတော် သို့ပြန်လည်ရောက်ရှိလာကြကာ``မေဒိ နှင့်ပါရှလူမျိုးတို့၏ဥပဒေများအရ ဘုရင့်အမိန့်တော်မည်သည်မှာပြန်လည် ပြင်ဆင်ပြောင်းလဲ၍မရနိုင်ကြောင်းအရှင် မင်းကြီးသိတော်မူပါ၏'' ဟုလျှောက် ထားကြ၏။

၁၇ကျောက်ပြားဖြင့်တွင်းဝကိုပိတ်စေပြီး နောက်မင်းကြီးသည် အဘယ်သူမျှဒံယေလ အားမကယ်နိုင်စေရန် မိမိ၏တံဆိပ်တော် နှင့်မှူးမတ်တို့၏တံဆိပ်များကို ကျောက် ပြားပေါ်တွင်ခတ်နှိပ်၍ထားစေတော်မူ၏။-

၁၉မိုးသောက်ချိန်၌မင်းကြီးသည်ထ၍ ခြင်္သေ့တွင်းသို့အလျင်အမြန်ကြွ တော်မူ၏။-

၂၀ခြင်္သေ့တွင်းသို့ရောက်သောအခါစိုးရိမ်ပူ ပန်သောအသံနှင့်``အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသော ဘုရား၏အစေခံ၊ ဒံယေလ၊ သင်သစ္စာရှိ စွာကိုးကွယ်သောဘုရားသခင်သည်သင့် အားခြင်္သေ့များ၏ဘေးမှကယ်တော်မူ နိုင်ပါ၏လော'' ဟုမေးတော်မူ၏။

၂၁ဒံယေလက``အရှင်မင်းကြီးသက်တော်ရာ ကျော်ရှည်တော်မူပါစေသော။-

၂၄ထိုနောက်မင်းကြီးသည်ဒံယေလအားပြစ် တင်စွပ်စွဲကြသူအပေါင်းတို့ကိုဖမ်းဆီး စေပြီးလျှင် သူတို့၏သားမယားများနှင့် တကွခြင်္သေ့တွင်းထဲသို့ပစ်ချရန်အမိန့် ပေးတော်မူ၏။ မြေသို့မရောက်ရှိမီပင်သူ တို့အားခြင်္သေ့တို့သည်ခုန်အုပ်ပြီးလျှင် အရိုးပါမကျန်ကိုက်စားလိုက်ကြလေ သည်။

၂၅ထိုနောက်ဒါရိမင်းသည်ကမ္ဘာပေါ်ရှိဘာသာ စကားအမျိုးမျိုးပြောဆိုသူလူမျိုးအသီး သီးနှင့် နိုင်ငံအသီးသီးရှိလူအပေါင်းတို့ ထံသို့သဝဏ်လွှာတစ်စောင်ရေးသားပေး ပို့တော်မူ၏။ ထိုသဝဏ်လွှာတွင်``သင်တို့သည်ချမ်းမြေ့ သာယာကြပါစေသော။-

၂၆ငါ၏အင်ပါယာနိုင်ငံတစ်လျှောက်လုံး ရှိလူအပေါင်းတို့၊ သင်တို့သည်ဒံယေလ ကိုးကွယ်သောဘုရားသခင်အားကြောက် ရွံ့ရိုသေကြရမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်းငါ အမိန့်တော်ရှိသည်။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသော ဘုရားဖြစ်တော်မူ၍၊ ကာလအစဉ်အဆက်စိုးစံတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။ ကိုယ်တော်၏နိုင်ငံတော်သည်အဘယ်အခါ ၌မျှ ပျက်စီးရလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။ ကိုယ်တော်၏တန်ခိုးတော်သည်လည်း အဘယ်အခါ၌မျှကုန်ဆုံးလိမ့်မည် မဟုတ်။

၂၈ဒံယေလသည်ဒါရိမင်းနန်းစံချိန်နှင့်၊ ပါရှ အမျိုးသားကုရုမင်းနန်းစံချိန်၌ကောင်း စားလျက်နေသတည်း။
