Daniel 6
1 to acceptable before Darius and to stand: establish since kingdom [the] to/for satrap [the] hundred and twenty that to be in/on/with all kingdom [the]
Il plut à Darius d'établir sur le royaume cent vingt gouverneurs locaux, qui devaient être répartis dans tout le royaume;
2 and above from them chief three that Daniel one from them that to be satrap [the] these to give to/for them account [the] and king [the] not to be to suffer injury
et sur eux trois présidents, dont Daniel faisait partie, afin que ces gouverneurs locaux leur rendent compte et que le roi ne subisse aucune perte.
3 then Daniel this to be to distinguish oneself since chief [the] and satrap [the] like/as to/for before: because that spirit preeminent in/on/with him and king [the] to plan to/for to stand: establish him since all kingdom [the]
Ce Daniel se distingua des présidents et des gouverneurs locaux, parce qu'il avait un esprit excellent, et le roi pensa à l'établir sur tout le royaume.
4 then chief [the] and satrap [the] to be to ask pretext to/for to find to/for Daniel from side kingdom [the] and all pretext and to corrupt not be able to/for to find like/as to/for before: because that to trust he/she/it and all neglect and to corrupt not to find since him
Alors les présidents et les gouverneurs locaux cherchèrent à trouver une occasion contre Daniel en ce qui concerne le royaume; mais ils ne purent trouver ni occasion ni faute, parce qu'il était fidèle. Ils ne trouvèrent ni erreur ni faute en lui.
5 then man [the] these to say that not to find to/for Daniel this all pretext except to find since him in/on/with law god his
Alors ces hommes dirent: « Nous ne trouverons aucune occasion contre ce Daniel, à moins que nous ne la trouvions contre lui au sujet de la loi de son Dieu. »
6 then chief [the] and satrap [the] these to throng since king [the] and thus to say to/for him Darius king [the] to/for perpetuity to live
Alors ces présidents et ces gouverneurs locaux s'assemblèrent auprès du roi, et lui dirent ceci: « Roi Darius, vis éternellement!
7 to counsel all chief kingdom [the] prefect [the] and satrap [the] counselor [the] and governor [the] to/for to stand: establish statute king [the] and to/for to grow strong injunction that all that to ask petition from all god and man till day thirty except from you king [the] to cast to/for den lion [the]
Tous les présidents du royaume, les députés et les gouverneurs locaux, les conseillers et les gouverneurs, se sont consultés pour établir une loi royale et un décret fort, selon lequel quiconque demandera une requête à un dieu ou à un homme pendant trente jours, sauf à toi, ô roi, sera jeté dans la fosse aux lions.
8 now king [the] to stand: establish injunction [the] and to sign inscription [the] that not to/for to change like/as law Mede and Persia that not to pass on/over/away
Maintenant, ô roi, établis le décret et signe l'écrit, afin qu'il ne soit pas modifié, selon la loi des Mèdes et des Perses, qui ne change pas. »
9 like/as to/for before: because this king [the] Darius to sign inscription [the] and injunction [the]
Le roi Darius signa donc l'écrit et le décret.
10 and Daniel like/as that to know that to sign inscription [the] to come to/for house his and window to open to/for him in/on/with roof his before Jerusalem and time three in/on/with day [the] he/she/it to bless since knee his and to pray and to praise before god his like/as to/for before: because that to be to make from previously this
Lorsque Daniel sut que l'écriture était signée, il entra dans sa maison (les fenêtres de sa chambre étaient maintenant ouvertes vers Jérusalem) et il se mit à genoux trois fois par jour, et pria, et rendit grâce devant son Dieu, comme il le faisait auparavant.
11 then man [the] these to throng and to find to/for Daniel to ask and be gracious before god his
Alors ces hommes s'assemblèrent et trouvèrent Daniel en train de prier et de supplier son Dieu.
12 in/on/with then to approach and to say before king [the] since injunction king [the] not injunction to sign that all man that to ask from all god and man till day thirty except from you king [the] to cast to/for den lion [the] to answer king [the] and to say certain word [the] like/as law Mede and Persia that not to pass on/over/away
Alors ils s'approchèrent et parlèrent devant le roi au sujet du décret du roi: « N'as-tu pas signé un décret selon lequel tout homme qui, dans les trente jours, adressera une requête à un dieu ou à un homme, sauf à toi, ô roi, sera jeté dans la fosse aux lions? ». Le roi répondit: « Cette chose est vraie, selon la loi des Mèdes et des Perses, qui ne change pas. »

Alors ils prirent la parole et dirent devant le roi: « Ce Daniel, qui est d'entre les enfants de la captivité de Juda, ne te respecte pas, ô roi, ni le décret que tu as signé, mais il fait sa demande trois fois par jour. »
14 then king [the] like/as that word [the] to hear greatly be displeased since him and since Daniel to set: put/give mind to/for to rescue him and till going down sun [the] to be to strive to/for to rescue him
Alors le roi, en entendant ces paroles, fut très mécontent, et il jeta son dévolu sur Daniel pour le délivrer; et il travailla jusqu'au coucher du soleil pour le secourir.
15 in/on/with then man [the] these to throng since king [the] and to say to/for king [the] to know king [the] that law to/for Mede and Persia that all injunction and statute that king [the] to stand: establish not to/for to change
Alors ces hommes s'assemblèrent auprès du roi et lui dirent: « Sache, ô roi, que c'est une loi des Mèdes et des Perses, qu'aucun décret ni aucune loi que le roi établit ne peut être modifié. »
16 in/on/with then king [the] to say and to come to/for Daniel and to cast to/for den [the] that lion [the] to answer king [the] and to say to/for Daniel god your that (you *Q(k)*) to serve to/for him in/on/with continuance [the] he/she/it to rescue you
Alors le roi ordonna qu'on amène Daniel et qu'on le jette dans la fosse aux lions. Le roi prit la parole et dit à Daniel: « Ton Dieu que tu sers sans cesse, il te délivrera. »
17 and to come stone one and to set: put/give since mouth den [the] and to seal her king [the] in/on/with signet ring his and in/on/with signet ring noble his that not to change thing in/on/with Daniel
On apporta une pierre qu'on posa sur l'ouverture de la fosse, et le roi la scella de son propre sceau et du sceau de ses grands, afin que rien ne fût changé au sujet de Daniel.
18 then to go king [the] to/for temple: palace his and to lodge fasting and diversion not to come before him and sleep his to flee since him
Le roi se rendit ensuite dans son palais, et passa la nuit à jeûner. On ne lui apporta aucun instrument de musique, et le sommeil le quitta.
19 in/on/with then king [the] in/on/with dawn [the] to stand: rise in/on/with daylight [the] and in/on/with to dismay to/for den [the] that lion [the] to go
Le roi se leva de grand matin, et se rendit en hâte à la fosse aux lions.
20 and like/as to approach he to/for den [the] to/for Daniel in/on/with voice: sound to pain to cry out to answer king [the] and to say to/for Daniel Daniel servant/slave god [the] living [the] god your that (you *Q(k)*) to serve to/for him in/on/with continuance [the] be able to/for to rescue you from lion [the]
Lorsqu'il s'approcha de la fosse, Daniel cria d'une voix troublée. Le roi prit la parole et dit à Daniel: « Daniel, serviteur du Dieu vivant, ton Dieu, que tu sers continuellement, est-il capable de te délivrer des lions? »
21 then Daniel with king [the] to speak king [the] to/for perpetuity to live
Alors Daniel dit au roi: « O roi, vis éternellement!
22 god my to send angel his and to shut mouth lion [the] and not to destroy me like/as to/for before: because that before him innocence to find to/for me and also (before you *Q(k)*) king [the] crime not to make
Mon Dieu a envoyé son ange et a fermé la gueule des lions, et ils ne m'ont pas fait de mal, parce que l'innocence a été trouvée en moi devant lui; et aussi devant toi, ô roi, je n'ai fait aucun mal. »
23 in/on/with then king [the] greatly be good since him and to/for Daniel to say to/for to ascend from den [the] and to ascend Daniel from den [the] and all harm not to find in/on/with him that to trust in/on/with god his
Le roi se réjouit et ordonna qu'on fasse sortir Daniel de la fosse. On fit donc sortir Daniel de la fosse, et on ne lui trouva aucun mal, car il avait mis sa confiance en son Dieu.
24 and to say king [the] and to come man [the] these that to devour charges his that Daniel and to/for den lion [the] to cast they son their and woman their and not to reach to/for bottom den [the] till that to rule in/on/with them lion [the] and all bone their to break up
Le roi donna cet ordre. On amena les hommes qui avaient accusé Daniel et on les jeta dans la fosse aux lions, eux, leurs enfants et leurs femmes; les lions les déchiquetèrent et brisèrent tous leurs os avant qu'ils n'arrivent au fond de la fosse.
25 in/on/with then Darius king [the] to write to/for all people [the] people [the] and tongue [the] that (to dwell *Q(k)*) in/on/with all earth: planet [the] peace your to grow great
Alors le roi Darius écrivit à tous les peuples, nations et langues qui habitent sur toute la terre: « Que la paix vous soit multipliée.
26 from before me to set: make command that in/on/with all dominion kingdom my to be (to tremble *Q(k)*) and to fear from before god his that Daniel that he/she/it god [the] living [the] and enduring to/for perpetuity and kingdom his that not to destroy and dominion his till end [the]
« Je décrète que dans toute la domination de mon royaume, les hommes tremblent et craignent devant le Dieu de Daniel. « Car il est le Dieu vivant, et inébranlable pour toujours. Son royaume est celui qui ne sera pas détruit. Sa domination s'étendra jusqu'à la fin.
27 to rescue and to rescue and to make sign and wonder in/on/with heaven [the] and in/on/with earth: planet [the] that to rescue to/for Daniel from hand lion [the]
Il délivre et sauve. Il accomplit des signes et des prodiges dans le ciel et sur la terre, qui a délivré Daniel de la puissance des lions. »
28 and Daniel this to prosper in/on/with kingdom Darius and in/on/with kingdom Cyrus (Persian [the] *Q(k)*)
Ce Daniel prospéra donc sous le règne de Darius et sous le règne de Cyrus le Perse.
