Amos 9

1 to see: see [obj] Lord to stand upon [the] altar and to say to smite [the] capital and to shake [the] threshold and to cut off them in/on/with head all their and end their in/on/with sword to kill not to flee to/for them to flee and not to escape to/for them survivor

Jag såg HERREN stå invid altaret, och han sade: Slå till pelarhuvudena, så att trösklarna bäva, och låt spillrorna falla över huvudet på alla där. Deras sista kvarleva skall jag sedan dräpa med svärd. Ingen av dem skall kunna undfly, ingen av dem kunna rädda sig.

2 if to dig in/on/with hell: Sheol from there hand: power my to take: take them and if to ascend: rise [the] heaven from there to go down them (Sheol h7585)

Om de än bröte sig in i dödsriket, så skulle min hand hämta dem fram därifrån; och fore de än upp till himmelen, så skulle jag störta dem ned därifrån. (Sheol h7585)

3 and if to hide in/on/with head: top [the] Carmel from there to search and to take: take them and if to hide from before eye: seeing my in/on/with floor [the] sea from there to command [obj] [the] serpent and to bite them

Gömde de sig än på toppen av Karmel, så skulle jag där leta fram dem och hämta dem ned; och dolde de sig än undan min åsyn på havets botten, så skulle jag där mana ormen fram att stinga dem.

4 and if to go: went in/on/with captivity to/for face: before enemy their from there to command [obj] [the] sword and to kill them and to set: make eye my upon them to/for distress: evil and not to/for welfare

Om de läte föra sig bort i fångenskap av sina fiender, skulle jag bjuda svärdet att där komma och dräpa dem. Ja, jag skall låta mitt öga vila på dem, till deras olycka och icke till deras lycka.

5 and Lord YHWH/God [the] Hosts [the] to touch in/on/with land: country/planet and to melt and to mourn all to dwell in/on/with her and to ascend: rise like/as Nile all her and to sink like/as Nile (Egypt *L(abh)*)

Ty Herren, HERREN Sebaot, han som rör vid jorden, då försmälter den av ångest och alla dess inbyggare sörja, ja, hela jorden höjer sig såsom Nilen och sjunker åter såsom Egyptens flod;

han som bygger sin sal i himmelen och befäster sitt valv över jorden, han som kallar på havets vatten och gjuter det ut över jorden -- HERREN är hans namn.

7 not like/as son: descendant/people Ethiopian you(m. p.) to/for me son: descendant/people Israel utterance LORD not [obj] Israel to ascend: establish from land: country/planet Egypt and Philistine from Caphtor and Syria from Kir

Ären I icke för mig lika med etiopiernas barn, I Israels barn? säger HERREN. Förde jag icke Israel upp ur Egyptens land och filistéerna ifrån Kaftor och araméerna ifrån Kir?

8 behold eye Lord YHWH/God in/on/with kingdom [the] sinner and to destroy [obj] her from upon face: surface [the] land: soil end for not to destroy to destroy [obj] house: household Jacob utterance LORD

Se, Herrens, HERRENS ögon äro vända mot detta syndiga rike, och jag skall förgöra det från jordens yta. Dock vill jag icke alldeles förgöra Jakobs hus, säger HERREN.

9 for behold I to command and to shake in/on/with all [the] nation [obj] house: household Israel like/as as which to shake in/on/with sieve and not to fall: fall pebble land: country/planet

Ty se, jag skall låta ett bud utgå, att Israels hus må bliva siktat bland alla hednafolken, såsom siktades det i ett såll; icke det minsta korn skall falla på jorden.

10 in/on/with sword to die all sinner people my [the] to say not to approach: approach and to meet about/through/for us [the] distress: harm

Alla syndare i mitt folk skola dö för svärdet, de som nu säga: "Oss skall olyckan ej nalkas, över oss skall den icke komma."

11 in/on/with day [the] he/she/it to arise: establish [obj] booth David [the] to fall: fall and to wall up/off [obj] breach their and ruins his to arise: establish and to build her like/as day forever: antiquity

På den dagen skall jag upprätta Davids förfallna hydda; jag skall mura igen dess revor och upprätta dess ruiner och bygga upp den, sådan den var i forna dagar;

12 because to possess: possess [obj] remnant Edom and all [the] nation which to call: call by name my upon them utterance LORD to make: do this

så att de få taga i besittning vad som är kvar av Edom och av alla hedningar som hava uppkallats efter mitt namn, säger HERREN, han som skall göra detta.

13 behold day to come (in): come utterance LORD and to approach: approach to plow/plot in/on/with to reap and to tread grape in/on/with to draw [the] seed and to drip/prophesy [the] mountain: mount sweet and all [the] hill to melt

Se, dagar skola komma, säger HERREN, då plöjaren skall följa skördemannen i spåren, och druvtramparen såningsmannen, då bergen skola drypa av druvsaft och alla höjder skola försmälta.

14 and to return: rescue [obj] captivity people my Israel and to build city be desolate: destroyed and to dwell and to plant vineyard and to drink [obj] wine their and to make garden and to eat [obj] fruit their

Då skall jag åter upprätta mitt folk Israel; när de bygga upp sina ödelagda städer, skola de ock få bo i dem; när de plantera vingårdar, skola de ock få dricka vin från dem; när de anlägga trädgårdar, skola de ock få äta deras frukt.

15 and to plant them upon land: soil their and not to uproot still from upon land: soil their which to give: give to/for them to say LORD God your

Jag skall då plantera dem i deras eget land, och de skola icke mer ryckas upp ur det land som jag har givit dem, säger HERREN, din Gud.
