Amos 2

1 thus to say LORD upon three transgression Moab and upon four not to return: repent him upon to burn he bone king Edom to/for lime

Astfel spune DOMNUL: Pentru trei fărădelegi ale Moabului și pentru patru, nu voi întoarce pedeapsa lui, pentru că a ars oasele împăratului Edomului până le-a făcut var;

Dar voi trimite un foc asupra Moabului și acesta va mistui palatele Cheriotului; și Moabul va muri cu tumult, cu strigăte și cu sunetul trâmbiței;

Și voi stârpi pe judecător din mijlocul lui și voi ucide pe toți prinții lui împreună cu el, spune DOMNUL.

Astfel spune DOMNUL: Pentru trei fărădelegi ale lui Iuda și pentru patru, nu voi întoarce pedeapsa lui, pentru că au disprețuit legea DOMNULUI și nu au păzit poruncile lui, iar minciunile lor, după care au umblat părinții lor, i-au făcut să rătăcească;

5 and to send: depart fire in/on/with Judah and to eat citadel: fortress Jerusalem

Dar voi trimite un foc asupra lui Iuda și acesta va mistui palatele Ierusalimului.

6 thus to say LORD upon three transgression Israel and upon four not to return: repent him upon to sell they in/on/with silver: money righteous and needy in/on/with for the sake of sandal

Astfel spune DOMNUL: Pentru trei fărădelegi ale lui Israel și pentru patru, nu voi întoarce pedeapsa lui, pentru că au vândut pe cel drept pentru argint și pe cel sărac pentru o pereche de încălțăminte;

Și se culcă pe haine puse pentru a fi garanție, lângă fiecare altar, și beau vinul celor condamnați în casa dumnezeilor lor.

Totuși eu am nimicit pe amorit dinaintea lor, a cărui înălțime era ca înălțimea cedrilor și era tare ca stejarii; totuși i-am nimicit rodul de deasupra și rădăcinile lui de dedesubt.

De asemenea v-am adus din țara Egiptului și v-am condus patruzeci de ani prin pustie, ca să stăpâniți țara amoritului.

Și am ridicat profeți dintre fiii voștri și nazirei dintre tinerii voștri. Nu este așa, copii ai lui Israel? spune DOMNUL.

12 and to water: drink [obj] [the] Nazirite wine and upon [the] prophet to command to/for to say not to prophesy

Dar voi ați dat nazireilor să bea vin; și ați poruncit profeților, spunând: Nu profețiți.

13 behold I to totter underneath: stand you like/as as which to totter [the] cart [the] full to/for her sheaf

Iată, sunt apăsat sub voi, precum este apăsată o căruță, plină de snopi.

14 and to perish refuge from swift and strong not to strengthen strength his and mighty man not to escape soul: life his

De aceea fuga va pieri de la cel iute și cel tare nu își va întări forța, nici războinicul nu se va elibera pe el însuși;

15 and to capture [the] bow not to stand: stand and swift in/on/with foot his not to escape and to ride [the] horse not to escape soul: life his

Nici cel ce mânuiește arcul nu va sta în picioare; și cel iute de picior nu se va elibera; nici cel ce călărește pe cal nu se va elibera pe el însuși.

16 and strong heart his in/on/with mighty man naked to flee in/on/with day [the] he/she/it utterance LORD

Și cel curajos printre războinici va fugi gol în acea zi, spune DOMNUL.
