Amos 2

Näin sanoo Herra: Mooabin kolmen rikoksen, neljän rikoksen tähden minun päätökseni on peruuttamaton. Koska se on polttanut Edomin kuninkaan luut kalkiksi,

Mutta te juotitte nasiireille viiniä, ja profeettoja te kielsitte sanoen: "Älkää ennustako".

Silloin nopeakaan ei pääse pakoon, ei väkevällä ole apua voimastaan, eikä sankari pelasta henkeänsä;

jousimies ei kestä paikallansa, nopeajalkainen ei pelastu, eikä ratsumies pelasta henkeänsä.
