ಸೌಲನು ಸ್ತೆಫನನ ಕೊಲೆಗೆ ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಿದ್ದನು. ಆ ದಿನವೇ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಸಭೆಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಹಾಹಿಂಸೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು, ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಉಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೂದಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾಂತಗಳಿಗೆ ಚದರಿಹೋದರು.

ದೇವಭಕ್ತರು ಸ್ತೆಫನನ ಶವಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿ, ಅವನಿಗಾಗಿ ಬಹಳ ಗೋಳಾಡಿದರು.

ಆದರೆ ಸೌಲನು ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ಮನೆಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಪುರುಷರನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆಳೆದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿಸಿದನು.

ಚದರಿಹೋದವರು ತಾವು ಹೋದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು.

ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಒಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಸಂದೇಶ ಸಾರಿದನು.
6 to watch out (then *N(k)O*) the/this/who crowd the/this/who to say by/under: by the/this/who Philip united in/on/among the/this/who to hear it/s/he and to see the/this/who sign which to do/make: do
ಜನಸಮೂಹವು ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನ ಬೋಧನೆ ಕೇಳಿ, ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಅವನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

ಅನೇಕರಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮಗಳು ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹೊರಗೋಡಿದವು. ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೇ ಅನೇಕ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವಾಯು ಪೀಡಿತರು, ಅಂಗವಿಕಲರು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥರಾದರು.

ಇದರಿಂದ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಯಿತು.

ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲ ಸಮಯದಿಂದ ಸೀಮೋನ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಮಂತ್ರ ವಿದ್ಯೆ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದನು. ತಾನೊಬ್ಬ ಮಹಾವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಎಂದು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು,

ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿಯ ಹಿರಿಯರು, ಕಿರಿಯರು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಿ, “ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಮಹಾಶಕ್ತಿ ಎನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ದೇವರ ಶಕ್ತಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

ಸೀಮೋನನು ತನ್ನ ಮಂತ್ರಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

ಆದರೆ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಶುಭವರ್ತಮಾನವನ್ನೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಪುರುಷರು ಅದನ್ನು ನಂಬಿ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದರು.

ಸೀಮೋನನು ಸಹ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿಟ್ಟು, ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಹೊಂದಿದನು. ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮಹಾಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಬೆರಗಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಹೋದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

ಸಮಾರ್ಯದವರು ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು ಎಂಬ ಸಮಾಚಾರ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಪೇತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಯೋಹಾನರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಇವರು ತಲುಪಿದಾಗ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಯವರು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ಬಂದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅವರು ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ನಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರಷ್ಟೇ.

ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಯೋಹಾನರು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಡಲು, ಅವರು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ವರವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದರು.

ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಡಲು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೊರೆತದ್ದನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಸೀಮೋನನು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು,

“ನಾನು ಯಾರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಡುವೆನೋ ಅವರೂ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ವರವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಈ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು,” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು, “ದೇವರ ವರವನ್ನು ಹಣಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದೆಂದು ನೀನು ಭಾವಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಾಶವಾಗಿಹೋಗು!
21 no to be you part nor lot in/on/among the/this/who word this/he/she/it the/this/who for heart you no to be Straight (before *N(k)O*) the/this/who God
ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿಲ್ಲವಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಭಾಗವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಪಾಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
22 to repent therefore/then away from the/this/who evil you this/he/she/it and to pray the/this/who (lord: God *N(K)O*) if therefore to release: forgive you the/this/who thought the/this/who heart you
ಈ ದುಷ್ಟತನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಟ್ಟು ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೋ, ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಈ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಬಹುದು.
23 toward for gall bitterness and bond(age) unrighteousness to see: see you to be
ನೀನು ಕಹಿತನದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರುವೆ; ಪಾಪ ಬಂಧನದಲ್ಲಿರುವೆ ಎಂದು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
24 to answer then the/this/who Simon to say to pray you above/for I/we to/with the/this/who lord: God that nothing to arrive/invade upon/to/against I/we which to say
ಆಗ ಸೀಮೋನನು, “ನೀವು ಹೇಳಿದ ಯಾವುದೂ ನನಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸದಂತೆ ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
25 the/this/who on the other hand therefore/then to testify solemnly and to speak the/this/who word the/this/who lord: God (to return *N(k)O*) toward Jerusalem much and/both village the/this/who Samaritan (to speak good news *N(k)O*)
ಪೇತ್ರ ಯೋಹಾನರು ಕರ್ತದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳಿ ಬೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಅನೇಕ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆ ಸಾರಿ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿದರು.
26 angel then lord: God to speak to/with Philip to say to arise and to travel according to noon/south upon/to/against the/this/who road the/this/who to come/go down away from Jerusalem toward Gaza this/he/she/it to be deserted
ದೇವದೂತನೊಬ್ಬನು ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನಿಗೆ, “ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗು, ಅದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಗಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಮಾರ್ಗ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
27 and to arise to travel and look! man Ethiopian eunuch ruler Candace (the/this/who *k*) queen Ethiopian which to be upon/to/against all the/this/who treasury it/s/he which to come/go to worship toward Jerusalem
ಅದರಂತೆ ಅವನು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಐಥಿಯೋಪ್ಯದ ರಾಣಿ ಕಂದಾಕೆಯ ಹಣಕಾಸಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕಂಚುಕಿಯನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾದನು. ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಆರಾಧನೆಗಾಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದನು.
28 to be (and/both *NK(o)*) to return and to sit upon/to/against the/this/who chariot it/s/he and to read the/this/who prophet Isaiah
ಈಗ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ರಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಯೆಶಾಯನ ಗ್ರಂಥವನ್ನು ಓದುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

ಆಗ, “ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ರಥದ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಡೆ,” ಎಂದು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮರು ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
30 to hasten then the/this/who Philip to hear it/s/he to read Isaiah the/this/who prophet and to say no? indeed to know which to read
ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು ರಥದ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿದನು. ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಯೆಶಾಯನ ಗ್ರಂಥ ಓದುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, “ನೀವು ಓದುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆಯೇ?” ಎಂದು ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದನು.

ಅವನು, “ಯಾರಾದರೊಬ್ಬರು ಅದನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ನನಗೆ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ?” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ರಥವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನನ್ನು ಆಮಂತ್ರಿಸಿದನು.

ಕಂಚುಕಿ ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಓದುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು: “ವಧಿಸಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ದ ಕುರಿಯಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು. ಉಣ್ಣೆ ಕತ್ತರಿಸುವವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಇರುವ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯಂತೆ ಅವರು ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಇನ್ನು ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿ ತೆರೆಯಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

ಅವರ ಅವಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವು ಅವರಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯಲಾಯಿತು. ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ಆತನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದೇಬಿಟ್ಟರಲ್ಲವೇ, ಆತನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಬಲ್ಲವರು ಯಾರು?”
34 to answer then the/this/who eunuch the/this/who Philip to say to pray you about which? the/this/who prophet to say this/he/she/it about themself or about other one
ನಂತರ ಕಂಚುಕಿಯು, “ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತೋ ಅಥವಾ ಬೇರೆಯವರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತೋ? ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳು,” ಎಂದು ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
35 to open then the/this/who Philip the/this/who mouth it/s/he and be first away from the/this/who a writing this/he/she/it to speak good news it/s/he the/this/who Jesus
ಪವಿತ್ರ ವೇದದ ಆ ಭಾಗದಿಂದಲೇ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಶುಭವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು.
36 as/when then to travel according to the/this/who road to come/go upon/to/against one water and to assert the/this/who eunuch look! water which? to prevent me to baptize
ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮುಂದೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ನೀರಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು. ಆಗ ಕಂಚುಕಿ, “ಇಗೋ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಿದೆ. ನನಗೆ ಏಕೆ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಕೊಡಬಾರದು?” ಎಂದನು.
37 (to say then the/this/who Philip if to trust (in) out from all the/this/who heart be permitted to answer then to say to trust (in) the/this/who son the/this/who God to exist the/this/who Jesus Christ *K*)
“ನೀನು ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ನಂಬಿದರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನವಾಗಬಹುದು,” ಎಂದು ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು ಹೇಳಿದನು. “ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವೇ ದೇವಪುತ್ರರು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಂಬುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಕಂಚುಕಿಯು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದನು.

ರಥವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಂತರ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು ಮತ್ತು ಕಂಚುಕಿ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ನೀರೊಳಗೆ ಹೋದರು. ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.
39 when then to ascend out from the/this/who water spirit/breath: spirit lord: God to seize the/this/who Philip and no to perceive: see it/s/he no still the/this/who eunuch to travel for the/this/who road it/s/he to rejoice
