2 Samuel 3
1 and to be [the] battle long between house: household Saul and between house: household David and David to go: continue and stronger and house: household Saul to go: continue and poor
La guerre fut longue entre la maison de Saül et la maison de David. David allait se fortifiant, et la maison de Saül allait s’affaiblissant.

le quatrième Adonias, fils de Haggith; le cinquième Saphathia, fils d’Abital,

et le sixième Jéthraam, d’Egla, femme de David. Tels sont les fils qui naquirent à David à Hébron.

Pendant qu’il y avait guerre entre la maison de Saül et la maison de David, Abner se fortifiait dans la maison de Saül.

Or Saül avait eu une concubine, nommée Respha, fille d’Aia. Et Isboseth dit à Abner:

« Pourquoi es-tu venu vers la concubine de mon père? » Abner, très irrité des paroles d’Isboseth, répondit: « Suis-je un tête de chien appartenant à Juda? Aujourd’hui je montre de la faveur à la maison de Saül, ton père, à ses frères et à ses amis, et je ne t’ai point livré aux mains de David, et c’est aujourd’hui que tu me reproches une faute avec cette femme?

Que Dieu traite Abner dans toute sa rigueur, si je n’agis pas avec David selon ce que Yahweh lui a juré,

en disant qu’il enlèverait la royauté de la maison de Saül, et qu’il établirait le trône de David sur Israël et sur Juda, depuis Dan jusqu’à Bersabée!
11 and not be able still to/for to return: reply [obj] Abner word from to fear he [obj] him
Isboseth ne put répondre un seul mot à Abner, parce qu’il le craignait.
12 and to send: depart Abner messenger to(wards) David (underneath: stand him *Q(K)*) to/for to say to/for who? land: country/planet to/for to say to cut: make(covenant) [emph?] covenant your with me and behold hand: power my with you to/for to turn: turn to(wards) you [obj] all Israel
Abner envoya des messagers à David pour lui dire de sa part: « À qui est le pays? Fais ton alliance avec moi, et voici que ma main t’aidera pour tourner vers toi tout Israël. »

Il répondit: « Bien! je ferai alliance avec toi; mais je te demande une chose, c’est que tu ne voies pas ma face sans m’amener Michol, fille de Saül, lorsque tu viendras pour voir ma face. »

Et David envoya des messagers à Isboseth, fils de Saül, pour lui dire: « Donne-moi ma femme Michol, que j’ai épousée pour cent prépuces de Philistins. »

Isboseth l’envoya prendre à son mari Phaltiel, fils de Laïs;

et son mari l’accompagna, marchant et pleurant derrière elle, jusqu’à Bathurim. Là Abner lui dit: « Va, retourne chez toi. » Et il s’en retourna.

Abner eut des pourparlers avec les anciens d’Israël, et leur dit: « Vous désiriez depuis longtemps déjà avoir David pour roi;
18 and now to make: do for LORD to say to(wards) David to/for to say in/on/with hand: power David servant/slave my to save [obj] people my Israel from hand: power Philistine and from hand: power all enemy their
agissez donc maintenant, car Yahweh a dit à David: C’est par la main de David, mon serviteur, que je délivrerai mon peuple d’Israël de la main des Philistins et de la main de tous ses ennemis. »
19 and to speak: speak also Abner in/on/with ear: to ears Benjamin and to go: went also Abner to/for to speak: speak in/on/with ear: to ears David in/on/with Hebron [obj] all which be pleasing in/on/with eye: appearance Israel and in/on/with eye: appearance all house: household Benjamin
Abner parla aussi aux oreilles de Benjamin, et Abner alla reporter aux oreilles de David, à Hébron, ce qui paraissait bon aux yeux d’Israël et aux yeux de toute la maison de Benjamin.

Abner vint près de David, à Hébron, accompagné de vingt hommes; et David fit un festin à Abner et aux hommes qui l’accompagnaient.
21 and to say Abner to(wards) David to arise: rise and to go: went and to gather to(wards) lord my [the] king [obj] all Israel and to cut: make(covenant) with you covenant and to reign in/on/with all which to desire soul your and to send: depart David [obj] Abner and to go: went in/on/with peace
Et Abner dit à David: « Je vais me lever et partir pour rassembler tout Israël vers mon seigneur le roi; ils feront alliance avec toi et tu régneras sur tout ce que ton âme désire. » Et David congédia Abner, qui s’en alla en paix.
22 and behold servant/slave David and Joab to come (in): come from [the] band and spoil many with them to come (in): bring and Abner nothing he with David in/on/with Hebron for to send: depart him and to go: went in/on/with peace
Mais voici que les serviteurs de David et Joab revenaient d’une excursion, ramenant avec eux un grand butin. — Abner n’était plus auprès de David à Hébron, car David l’avait congédié et il s’en était allé en paix. —
23 and Joab and all [the] army which with him to come (in): come and to tell to/for Joab to/for to say to come (in): come Abner son: child Ner to(wards) [the] king and to send: let go him and to go: went in/on/with peace
Joab et toute la troupe qui était avec lui arrivèrent, et on fit ce rapport à Joab: « Abner, fils de Ner, est venu auprès du roi, qui l’a congédié, et il s’en est allé en paix. »
24 and to come (in): come Joab to(wards) [the] king and to say what? to make: do behold to come (in): come Abner to(wards) you to/for what? this to send: depart him and to go: went to go: went
Joab se rendit chez le roi et dit: « Qu’as-tu fait? Voilà qu’Abner est venu vers toi: pourquoi l’as-tu congédié et laissé partir?
25 to know [obj] Abner son: child Ner for to/for to entice you to come (in): come and to/for to know [obj] exit your and [obj] (entrance your *Q(K)*) and to/for to know [obj] all which you(m. s.) to make: do
Tu connais Abner, fils de Ner: c’est pour te tromper qu’il est venu, pour épier ta conduite, et savoir tout ce que tu fais. »
26 and to come out: come Joab from from with David and to send: depart messenger after Abner and to return: return [obj] him from Cistern [the] Sirah and David not to know
Joab, ayant quitté David, envoya sur les traces d’Abner des messagers qui le ramenèrent depuis la citerne de Sira, sans que David en sût rien.
27 and to return: return Abner Hebron and to stretch him Joab to(wards) midst [the] gate (to/for to speak: speak *LA(bh)*) with him in/on/with quietness and to smite him there [the] belly and to die in/on/with blood Asahel Asahel brother: male-sibling his
Quand Abner fut de retour à Hébron, Joab le tira à l’écart, dans l’intérieur de la porte, comme pour lui parler tranquillement, et là il le frappa au ventre; il mourut, à cause du sang d’Asaël, frère de Joab.
28 and to hear: hear David from after so and to say innocent I and kingdom my from from with LORD till forever: enduring from blood Abner son: child Ner
David l’apprit ensuite, et il dit: « Je suis à jamais, moi et mon royaume, innocent, devant Yahweh, du sang d’Abner, fils de Ner.
29 to twist: dance upon head Joab and to(wards) all house: household father his and not to cut: lack from house: household Joab to flow: discharge and be leprous and to strengthen: hold in/on/with district and to fall: fall in/on/with sword and lacking food: bread
Que ce sang retombe sur la tête de Joab et sur toute la maison de son père! Qu’il y ait toujours dans la maison de Joab un homme qui souffre d’un flux ou de la lèpre, ou qui tienne le fuseau, ou qui tombe par l’épée, ou qui manque de pain. »
30 and Joab and Abishai brother: male-sibling his to kill to/for Abner upon which to die [obj] Asahel brother: male-sibling their in/on/with Gibeon in/on/with battle
C’est ainsi que Joab et Abisaï, son frère, tuèrent Abner, parce qu’il avait donné la mort à leur frère Asaël, à Gabaon, dans la bataille.
31 and to say David to(wards) Joab and to(wards) all [the] people which with him to tear garment your and to gird sackcloth and to mourn to/for face: before Abner and [the] king David to go: follow after [the] bed
David dit à Joab et à tout le peuple qui était avec lui: « Déchirez-vos vêtements, ceignez-vous de sacs et faites le deuil devant Abner. » Et le roi David marchait derrière la litière.
32 and to bury [obj] Abner in/on/with Hebron and to lift: loud [the] king [obj] voice his and to weep to(wards) grave Abner and to weep all [the] people
On enterra Abner à Hébron. Le roi pleura à haute voix sur le tombeau d’Abner et tout le peuple pleura.
33 and to chant [the] king to(wards) Abner and to say like/as death foolish to die Abner
Le roi chanta un chant funèbre sur Abner, et dit: Abner devait-il mourir comme meurt un insensé?
34 hand your not to bind and foot your not to/for bronze to approach: bring like/as to fall: fall to/for face: before son: type of injustice to fall: fall and to add: again all [the] people to/for to weep upon him
Tes mains ne furent pas liées et tes pieds ne furent pas jetés dans les chaînes! Tu es tombé comme on tombe devant des scélérats. Tout le peuple continua de se lamenter sur Abner;
35 and to come (in): come all [the] people to/for to eat [obj] David food: bread in/on/with still [the] day and to swear David to/for to say thus to make: do to/for me God and thus to add that if: except if: except to/for face: before to come (in): come [the] sun to perceive food: bread or all anything
et tout le peuple s’approcha de David pour lui faire prendre de la nourriture lorsqu’il était encore jour. Mais David fit ce serment: « Que Yahweh me traite dans toute sa rigueur, si je goûte du pain ou quoi que ce soit avant le coucher du soleil! »
36 and all [the] people to recognize and be good in/on/with eye: appearance their like/as all which to make: do [the] king in/on/with eye: appearance all [the] people be pleasing
Tout le peuple le remarqua et le trouva bon, comme il trouvait bon tout ce que faisait le roi.
37 and to know all [the] people and all Israel in/on/with day [the] he/she/it for not to be from [the] king to/for to die [obj] Abner son: child Ner
Tout le peuple et tout Israël comprirent en ce jour que ce n’était point de par le roi qu’on avait fait mourir Abner, fils de Ner.
38 and to say [the] king to(wards) servant/slave his not to know for ruler and great: large to fall: fall [the] day: today [the] this in/on/with Israel
Le roi dit à ses serviteurs: « Ne savez-vous pas qu’un chef, qu’un grand homme est tombé aujourd’hui en Israël?
39 and I [the] day tender and to anoint king and [the] human [the] these son: child Zeruiah severe from me to complete LORD to/for to make: do [the] distress: evil like/as distress: evil his
Pour moi, je suis doux, quoiqu’ayant reçu l’onction royale; et ces hommes, les fils de Sarvia, sont plus durs que moi. Que Yahweh rende à qui fait le mal selon le mal qu’il fait! »
