2 Samuel 24
1 and to add: again face: anger LORD to/for to be incensed in/on/with Israel and to incite [obj] David in/on/with them to/for to say to go: went to count [obj] Israel and [obj] Judah
Men HERRENS vrede blussede atter op mod Israel, saa at han æggede David mod dem og sagde: »Gaa hen og hold Mandtal over Israel og Juda!«
2 and to say [the] king to(wards) Joab ruler [the] strength: soldiers which with him to rove please in/on/with all tribe Israel from Dan and till Beersheba Beersheba and to reckon: list [obj] [the] people and to know [obj] number [the] people
Kongen sagde da til Joab og Hærførerne, der var hos ham: »Drag rundt i alle Israels Stammer fra Dan til Be'ersjeba og hold Mønstring over Folket, for at jeg kan faa Tallet paa det at vide!«
3 and to say Joab to(wards) [the] king and to add LORD God your to(wards) [the] people like/as them and like/as them hundred beat and eye lord my [the] king to see: see and lord my [the] king to/for what? to delight in in/on/with word: thing [the] this
Men Joab svarede Kongen: »Maatte HERREN din Gud forøge Folket hundredfold, og maatte min Herre Kongen selv opleve det — men hvorfor har min Herre Kongen sat sig sligt for?«
4 and to strengthen: prevail over word [the] king to(wards) Joab and upon ruler [the] strength: soldiers and to come out: come Joab and ruler [the] strength: soldiers to/for face: before [the] king to/for to reckon: list [obj] [the] people [obj] Israel
Men Joab og Hærførerne maatte bøje sig for Kongens Ord. Joab og Hærførerne forlod derfor Kongen for at holde Mønstring over Israels Folk.
5 and to pass [obj] [the] Jordan and to camp in/on/with Aroer right: south [the] city which in/on/with midst [the] torrent: valley [the] Gad and to(wards) Jazer
De gik over Jordan og begyndte ved Aroer og Byen, der ligger midt i Dalen; drog ad Gad til og i Retning af Ja'zer;
6 and to come (in): come [the] Gilead [to] and to(wards) land: country/planet Kadesh Kadesh and to come (in): come Dan [to] Jaan and around to(wards) Sidon
saa kom de til Gilead og til Hetiternes Land hen imod Kadesj, derpaa til Dan, og fra Dan vendte de sig hen mod Zidon;
7 and to come (in): come fortification Tyre and all city [the] Hivite and [the] Canaanite and to come out: come to(wards) Negeb Judah Beersheba Beersheba
saa kom de til Fæstningen Tyrus og alle Hivviternes og Kana'anæernes Byer, hvorfra de gik til Be'ersjeba i det judæiske Sydland.
8 and to rove in/on/with all [the] land: country/planet and to come (in): come from end nine month and twenty day Jerusalem
Efter at de var draget hele Landet rundt i ni Maaneder og tyve Dage, kom de tilbage til Jerusalem.
9 and to give: give Joab [obj] number appointment [the] people to(wards) [the] king and to be Israel eight hundred thousand man strength to draw sword and man Judah five hundred thousand man
Joab opgav derpaa Kongen Tallet, der var fundet ved Folketællingen, og Israel talte 800 000 kraftige, vaabenføre Mænd, Juda 500 000 Mænd.

Men efter at David havde holdt Mandtal over Folket, slog Samvittigheden ham, og han sagde til HERREN: »Jeg har syndet svarlig i, hvad jeg har gjort! Men tilgiv nu, HERRE, din Tjeners Brøde, thi jeg har handlet som en stor Daare!«
11 and to arise: rise David in/on/with morning and word LORD to be to(wards) Gad [the] prophet seer David to/for to say
Da David stod op om Morgenen kom HERRENS Ord til Profeten Gad, Davids Seer, saaledes:
12 to go: went and to speak: speak to(wards) David thus to say LORD three I to lift upon you to choose to/for you one from them and to make: do to/for you
»Gaa hen og sig til David: Saa siger HERREN; Jeg forelægger dig tre Ting; vælg selv, hvilken jeg skal lade times dig!«
13 and to come (in): come Gad to(wards) David and to tell to/for him and to say to/for him to come (in): come to/for you seven year famine in/on/with land: country/planet your if: surely no three month to flee you to/for face: before enemy your and he/she/it to pursue you and if: surely no to be three day pestilence in/on/with land: country/planet your now to know and to see: select what? to return: return to send: depart me word: speaking
Gad kom da til David og kundgjorde ham det og sagde: »Skal der komme tre Hungersnødsaar over dig i dit Land, eller vil du i tre Maaneder jages paa Flugt, forfulgt af din Fjende, eller skal der komme tre Dages Pest i dit Land? Overvej nu, hvad jeg skal svare ham, der har sendt mig!«
14 and to say David to(wards) Gad distress to/for me much to fall: fall please in/on/with hand: power LORD for many (compassion his *Q(K)*) and in/on/with hand: power man not to fall: fall
David svarede Gad: »Jeg er i saare stor Vaande — lad os saa falde i HERRENS Haand, thi hans Barmhjertighed er stor; i Menneskehaand vil jeg ikke falde!«
15 and to give: give LORD pestilence in/on/with Israel from [the] morning and till time meeting: time appointed and to die from [the] people from Dan and till Beersheba Beersheba seventy thousand man
Saa valgte David da Pesten. Ved Hvedehøstens Tid begyndte Soten at ramme Folket; og der døde 70 000 Mand af Folket fra Dan til Be'ersjeba.
16 and to send: reach hand his [the] messenger: angel Jerusalem to/for to ruin her and to be sorry: relent LORD to(wards) [the] distress: harm and to say to/for messenger: angel [the] to ruin in/on/with people many now to slacken hand your and messenger: angel LORD to be with threshing floor ([the] Araunah *Q(K)*) [the] Jebusite

Men da David saa Engelen, som slog Folket, sagde han til HERREN: »Det er mig, der har syndet, mig, der har begaaet Brøden; men Faarene der, hvad har de gjort? Lad din Haand dog ramme mig og mit Fædrenehus!«
18 and to come (in): come Gad to(wards) David in/on/with day [the] he/she/it and to say to/for him to ascend: rise to arise: raise to/for LORD altar in/on/with threshing floor (Araunah *Q(K)*) [the] Jebusite
Samme Dag kom Gad til David og sagde: »Gaa op og rejs HERREN et Alter paa Jebusiten Aravnas Tærskeplads!«
19 and to ascend: rise David like/as word Gad like/as as which to command LORD
Og David gik derop efter Gads Ord, saaledes som HERREN havde paabudt.
20 and to look Araunah and to see: see [obj] [the] king and [obj] servant/slave his to pass upon him and to come out: come Araunah and to bow to/for king face his land: soil [to]
Da Aravna, der var ved at tærske Hvede, saa ned og fik Øje paa Kongen og hans Folk, som kom hen imod ham, gik han ud og kastede sig paa sit Ansigt til Jorden for ham;
21 and to say Araunah why? to come (in): come lord my [the] king to(wards) servant/slave his and to say David to/for to buy from from with you [obj] [the] threshing floor to/for to build altar to/for LORD and to restrain [the] plague from upon [the] people
og Aravna sagde: »Hvorfor kommer min Herre Kongen til sin Træl?« David svarede: »For at købe Tærskepladsen af dig og bygge HERREN et Alter, at Folket maa blive friet fra Plagen!«
22 and to say Araunah to(wards) David to take: take and to ascend: offer up lord my [the] king [the] pleasant (in/on/with eye: appearance his *Q(K)*) to see: behold! [the] cattle to/for burnt offering and [the] threshing sled and article/utensil [the] cattle to/for tree: wood
Da sagde Aravna til David: »Min Herre Kongen tage den og ofre, hvad ham tykkes ret! Her er Okserne til Brændoffer og Tærskeslæderne og Oksernes Stavtøj til Brændsel!
23 [the] all to give: give Araunah [the] king to/for king and to say Araunah to(wards) [the] king LORD God your to accept you
Min Herre Kongens Træl giver Kongen det hele!« Og Aravna sagde til Kongen: »Maatte HERREN din Gud have Behag i dig!«
24 and to say [the] king to(wards) Araunah not for to buy to buy from [obj] you in/on/with price and not to ascend: offer up to/for LORD God my burnt offering for nothing and to buy David [obj] [the] threshing floor and [obj] [the] cattle in/on/with silver: money shekel fifty
Men Kongen svarede Aravna: »Nej, jeg vil købe det af dig for dets fulde Værdi; jeg vil ikke bringe HERREN min Gud Brændofre, som intet koster mig!« Saa købte David Tærskepladsen og Okserne for halvtredsindstyve Sølvsekel;
25 and to build there David altar to/for LORD and to ascend: offer up burnt offering and peace offering and to pray LORD to/for land: country/planet and to restrain [the] plague from upon Israel
og David byggede HERREN et Alter der og ofrede Brændofre og Takofre. Da forbarmede HERREN sig over Landet, og Israel blev friet fra Plagen.
