2 Samuel 19

Den dag stjal folket sig inn i byen, som folk stjeler sig hjem når de er skamfulle fordi de har flyktet i krigen.

Men kongen hadde tilhyllet sitt ansikt og ropte med høi røst: Min sønn Absalom! Absalom, min sønn, min sønn!

Da gikk Joab inn i huset til kongen og sa: Idag vanærer du alle dine menn, som idag har berget både ditt liv og dine sønners og døtres og dine hustruers og medhustruers liv;
6 to/for to love: lover [obj] to hate you and to/for to hate [obj] to love: lover you for to tell [the] day for nothing to/for you ruler and servant/slave for to know [the] day for (if *Q(K)*) Absalom alive and all our [the] day to die for then upright in/on/with eye: appearance your
du elsker jo dem som hater dig, og hater dem som elsker dig; for idag har du vist at hverken høvedsmenn eller tjenere er til for dig; og jeg skjønner nu at om Absalom var i live og alle vi andre var død idag, da syntes du det var som det skulde.

Stå nu op og gå ut og tal vennlig til dine menn! For jeg sverger ved Herren at går du ikke ut, så blir det ikke en mann hos dig natten over, og dette vil bli verre for dig enn alt det onde som er kommet over dig fra din ungdom av til nu.

Da stod kongen op og satte sig i porten, og da alt folket fikk vite at kongen satt i porten, kom de alle og gikk frem for kongen. Men Israel hadde flyktet, hver mann til sitt hjem.
9 and to be all [the] people to judge in/on/with all tribe Israel to/for to say [the] king to rescue us from palm enemy our and he/she/it to escape us from palm Philistine and now to flee from [the] land: country/planet from upon Absalom
Og alt folket i alle Israels stammer gikk i rette med hverandre og sa: Kongen har fridd oss av våre fienders hånd, og han har reddet oss fra filistrene, og nu er han flyktet ut av landet for Absalom.
10 and Absalom which to anoint upon us to die in/on/with battle and now to/for what? you(m. p.) be quiet to/for to return: return [obj] [the] king

Da sendte kong David bud til prestene Sadok og Abjatar med de ord: Tal til Judas eldste og si: Hvorfor er I de siste til å hente kongen tilbake til hans hus? For det var kommet kongen for øre i hans hus at hele Israel talte således.

Således bøide han alle Judas menns sinn og vant dem for sig alle som én, og de sendte det bud til kongen: Vend tilbake, du og alle dine menn!
15 and to return: return [the] king and to come (in): come till [the] Jordan and Judah to come (in): come [the] Gilgal [to] to/for to go: follow to/for to encounter: meet [the] king to/for to pass: bring [obj] [the] king [obj] [the] Jordan
Så gav kongen sig på tilbakeveien og kom til Jordan. Da var Juda alt kommet til Gilgal for å dra kongen i møte og føre ham over Jordan.
16 and to hasten Shimei son: child Gera Benjaminite [the] Benjaminite which from Bahurim and to go down with man Judah to/for to encounter: meet [the] king David
Benjaminitten Sime'i, Geras sønn, fra Bahurim, skyndte sig og drog ned med Judas menn for å møte kong David,
17 and thousand man with him from Benjamin and Ziba youth house: household Saul and five ten son: child his and twenty servant/slave his with him and to rush [the] Jordan to/for face: before [the] king

18 and to pass [the] ford to/for to pass: bring [obj] house: household [the] king and to/for to make: do [the] pleasant (in/on/with eye: appearance his *Q(K)*) and Shimei son: child Gera to fall: fall to/for face: before [the] king in/on/with to pass he in/on/with Jordan
Og ferjen fór over elven for å føre kongens hus over og være til hans rådighet i alle ting. Men Sime'i, Geras sønn, falt ned for kongen da han skulde fare over Jordan;
19 and to say to(wards) [the] king not to devise: count to/for me lord my iniquity: guilt and not to remember [obj] which to pervert servant/slave your in/on/with day which to come out: come lord my [the] king from Jerusalem to/for to set: consider [the] king to(wards) heart his
og han sa til kongen: Herre, tilregn mig ikke min brøde og kom ikke i hu hvorledes din tjener forbrøt sig den dag da min herre konge drog ut fra Jerusalem! Kongen må ikke la det gå sig til hjerte!
20 for to know servant/slave your for I to sin and behold to come (in): come [the] day: today first to/for all house: household Joseph to/for to go down to/for to encounter: meet lord my [the] king
For din tjener vet at jeg har syndet; men se, idag er jeg den første av hele Josefs hus som er kommet hit ned for å møte min herre kongen.
21 and to answer Abishai son: child Zeruiah and to say underneath: because of this not to die Shimei for to lighten [obj] anointed LORD
Men Abisai, Serujas sønn, tok til orde og sa: Skal ikke Sime'i late livet - han som har bannet Herrens salvede?

Så sa kongen til Sime'i: Du skal ikke dø. Og kongen tilsvor ham det.
24 and Mephibosheth son: descendant/people Saul to go down to/for to encounter: meet [the] king and not to make: do foot his and not to make: do mustache his and [obj] garment his not to wash to/for from [the] day to go: went [the] king till [the] day which to come (in): come in/on/with peace: well-being
Mefiboset, Sauls sønn, drog og ned for å møte kongen; han hadde ikke vasket sine føtter og ikke stelt sitt skjegg og ikke tvettet sine klær like fra den dag kongen drog bort, til den dag han kom tilbake med fred.
25 and to be for to come (in): come Jerusalem to/for to encounter: meet [the] king and to say to/for him [the] king to/for what? not to go: went with me Mephibosheth
Da nu hele Jerusalem kom kongen i møte, sa kongen til ham: Hvorfor fulgte du ikke med mig, Mefiboset?
26 and to say lord my [the] king servant/slave my to deceive me for to say servant/slave your to saddle/tie to/for me [the] donkey and to ride upon her and to go: went with [the] king for lame servant/slave your
Han svarte: Herre konge! Min tjener narret mig; for din tjener sa: Jeg vil ha mitt asen salt, så jeg kan ride på det og følge med kongen; for din tjener er lam.
27 and to spy in/on/with servant/slave your to(wards) lord my [the] king and lord my [the] king like/as messenger: angel [the] God and to make: do [the] pleasant in/on/with eye: appearance your
Og han baktalte din tjener for min herre kongen. Men min herre kongen er som en Guds engel; gjør derfor som du synes.
28 for not to be all house: household father my that if: except if: except human death to/for lord my [the] king and to set: make [obj] servant/slave your in/on/with to eat table your and what? there to/for me still righteousness and to/for to cry out still to(wards) [the] king
For hele min fars hus hadde ikke annet å vente av min herre kongen enn død, og dog gav du din tjener plass blandt dem som eter ved ditt bord; hvad rett har jeg da mere å kreve, og hvad mere har jeg å rope til kongen om?
29 and to say to/for him [the] king to/for what? to speak: speak still word: case your to say you(m. s.) and Ziba to divide [obj] [the] land: country
Kongen sa til ham: Hvorfor blir du ved å tale herom? Jeg sier: Du og Siba skal dele jordeiendommen.
30 and to say Mephibosheth to(wards) [the] king also [obj] [the] all to take: take after which to come (in): come lord my [the] king in/on/with peace: well-being to(wards) house: home his
Da sa Mefiboset til kongen: Han kan gjerne få alt sammen, siden min herre kongen er kommet hjem igjen med fred.
31 and Barzillai [the] Gileadite to go down from Rogelim and to pass with [the] king [the] Jordan to/for to send: depart him [obj] ([the] Jordan *Q(K)*)
Gileaditten Barsillai var og kommet ned fra Rogelim og satte med kongen over Jordan for å ledsage ham et stykke på veien.
32 and Barzillai be old much son: aged eighty year and he/she/it to sustain [obj] [the] king (in/on/with sojourn his *LA(bh)*) in/on/with Mahanaim for man great: large he/she/it much
Barsillai var meget gammel, åtti år; han hadde sørget for mat og drikke til kongen under hans ophold i Mahana'im; for han var en meget rik mann.
33 and to say [the] king to(wards) Barzillai you(m. s.) to pass with me and to sustain [obj] you with me me in/on/with Jerusalem
Kongen sa da til Barsillai: Dra med mig, så vil jeg sørge for dig hjemme hos mig i Jerusalem.
34 and to say Barzillai to(wards) [the] king like/as what? day: year year life my for to ascend: rise with [the] king Jerusalem
Barsillai svarte: Hvor mange dager og år kan jeg vel ennu ha å leve, at jeg skulde dra med kongen op til Jerusalem?
35 son: aged eighty year I [the] day: today to know between good to/for bad: harmful if: surely yes to perceive servant/slave your [obj] which to eat and [obj] which to drink if: surely yes to hear: hear still in/on/with voice to sing and to sing and to/for what? to be servant/slave your still to/for burden to(wards) lord my [the] king
Jeg er idag åtti år; kan jeg vel nu skjelne mellem godt og ondt, eller kan din tjener smake hvad jeg eter og drikker, eller kan jeg nu lenger høre på sangere og sangerinner? Hvorfor skulde da din tjener lenger være min herre kongen til byrde?

Bare for en kort tid kan din tjener gå med kongen over Jordan; men hvorfor skulde kongen vise mig en sådan velgjerning?
37 to return: return please servant/slave your and to die in/on/with city my with grave father my and mother my and behold servant/slave your Chimham to pass with lord my [the] king and to make: do to/for him [obj] which be pleasing in/on/with eye: appearance your
Kjære, la din tjener vende tilbake, så jeg kan dø i min egen by, hvor min fars og min mors grav er! Men se, her er din tjener Kimham; la ham få dra med min herre kongen, og gjør med ham som du synes!
38 and to say [the] king with me to pass Chimham and I to make: do to/for him [obj] [the] pleasant in/on/with eye: appearance your and all which to choose upon me to make: do to/for you
Da sa kongen: Kimham skal dra med mig, og jeg vil gjøre mot ham som du vil, og alt hvad du ønsker av mig, vil jeg gjøre for dig.
39 and to pass all [the] people [obj] [the] Jordan and [the] king to pass and to kiss [the] king to/for Barzillai and to bless him and to return: return to/for place his
Så drog da alt folket over Jordan, og kongen drog over; og kongen kysset Barsillai, og Barsillai velsignet ham og vendte tilbake til sitt hjem.
40 and to pass [the] king [the] Gilgal [to] and Chimham to pass with him and all people Judah (to pass: bring *Q(K)*) [obj] [the] king and also half people Israel
Kongen fór over til Gilgal, og Kimham fór med ham; og hele Judas folk førte kongen over, og likeså halvdelen av Israels folk.
41 and behold all man Israel to come (in): come to(wards) [the] king and to say to(wards) [the] king why? to steal you brother: male-sibling our man Judah and to pass: bring [obj] [the] king and [obj] house: household his [obj] [the] Jordan and all human David with him
Men da kom alle Israels menn til kongen og sa til ham: Hvorfor har våre brødre, Judas menn, stjålet dig bort og ført kongen og hans hus og alle Davids menn med ham over Jordan?
42 and to answer all man Judah upon man Israel for near [the] king to(wards) me and to/for what? this to be incensed to/for you upon [the] word: thing [the] this to eat to eat from [the] king if gift to lift: give(gift) to/for us
Da tok alle Judas menn til orde og sa til Israels menn: Fordi kongen er oss nærmest. Og hvorfor er I harme for dette? Har vi vel tæret på kongens gods, eller har vi hatt nogen vinning av ham?
43 and to answer man Israel [obj] man Judah and to say ten hand: times to/for me in/on/with king and also in/on/with David I from you and why? to lighten me and not to be word my first to/for me to/for to return: return [obj] king my and to harden word man Judah from word man Israel
Men Israels menn svarte Judas menn således: Ti ganger større del enn I har vi i den som er konge, og således også i David; hvorfor har I da ringeaktet oss? Og var det ikke vi som først talte om å hente vår konge tilbake? Men Judas menns svar var enda hårdere enn det Israels menn hadde talt.
