2 Samuel 17
1 and to say Ahithophel to(wards) Absalom to choose please two ten thousand man and to arise: rise and to pursue after David [the] night
Achitophel donc dit à Absalom: Je me choisirai douze mille hommes, et me levant, je poursuivrai David en cette nuit.
2 and to come (in): come upon him and he/she/it weary and weak hand and to tremble [obj] him and to flee all [the] people which with him and to smite [obj] [the] king to/for alone him
Et, fondant sur lui (car il est las et de mains défaillantes), je le frapperai; et lorsqu’aura fui tout le peuple qui est avec lui, je frapperai le roi désolé.
3 and to return: return all [the] people to(wards) you like/as to return: return [the] all [the] man: husband which you(m. s.) to seek all [the] people to be peace
Et je ramènerai tout le peuple, comme un seul homme a coutume de revenir; car c’est un seul homme que vous cherchez vous-même; et tout le peuple sera en paix.
4 and to smooth [the] word in/on/with eye: appearance Absalom and in/on/with eye: appearance all old: elder Israel
Et sa parole plut à Absalom et à tous les anciens d’Israël.
5 and to say Absalom to call: call to please also to/for Hushai [the] Archite and to hear: hear what? in/on/with lip: word his also he/she/it
Mais Absalom dit: Appelez Chusaï, l’Arachite, et écoutons ce que lui aussi dira.
6 and to come (in): come Hushai to(wards) Absalom and to say Absalom to(wards) him to/for to say like/as Chronicles [the] this to speak: speak Ahithophel to make: do [obj] word: speaking his if nothing you(m. s.) to speak: speak
Et lorsque Chusaï fut venu vers Absalom, Absalom lui dit: Achitophel a dit cette parole; devons-nous l’exécuter ou non? quel conseil donnes-tu?
7 and to say Hushai to(wards) Absalom not pleasant [the] counsel which to advise Ahithophel in/on/with beat [the] this
Et Chusaï répondit à Absalom: Ce n’est pas un bon conseil qu’a donné Achitophel cette fois.
8 and to say Hushai you(m. s.) to know [obj] father your and [obj] human his for mighty man they(masc.) and bitter soul they(masc.) like/as bear childless in/on/with land: country and father your man battle and not to lodge with [the] people
Et Chusaï ajouta encore: Vous savez que votre père et les hommes qui sont avec lui sont très vaillants, et d’un cœur outré, comme si une ourse était furieuse, ses petits lui ayant été ravis dans la forêt; et votre père aussi, homme de guerre, ne restera point avec le peuple.
9 behold now he/she/it to hide in/on/with one [the] pit or in/on/with one [the] place and to be like/as to fall: kill in/on/with them in/on/with beginning and to hear: hear [the] to hear: hear and to say to be plague in/on/with people which after Absalom
Peut-être est-il maintenant caché dans les cavernes, ou en un autre lieu qu’il aura voulu; et si quelqu’un, quel qu’il soit, tombe au commencement, on l’apprendra, et quiconque l’apprendra, dira: Il a été fait une grande plaie sur le peuple qui suivait Absalom.
10 and he/she/it also son: warrior strength which heart his like/as heart [the] lion to melt to melt for to know all Israel for mighty man father your and son: warrior strength which with him
Et tous les plus vaillants, dont le cœur est comme celui du lion, seront saisis d’effroi; car tout le peuple d’Israël sait que votre père est vaillant, et que tous ceux qui sont avec lui sont vigoureux.
11 for to advise to gather to gather upon you all Israel from Dan and till Beersheba Beersheba like/as sand which upon [the] sea to/for abundance and face of your to go: went in/on/with battle
Mais ceci me semble être un bon conseil: que tout Israël s’assemble près de vous, depuis Dan jusqu’à Bersabée, comme le sable innombrable de la mer, et vous, vous serez au milieu d’eux.
12 and to come (in): come to(wards) him (in/on/with one *Q(k)*) [the] place which to find there and to rest upon him like/as as which to fall: fall [the] dew upon [the] land: soil and not to remain in/on/with him and in/on/with all [the] human which with him also one
Et nous fondrons sur David, en quelque lieu que nous le trouvions, et nous le couvrirons comme la rosée a coutume de tomber sur la terre; quant aux hommes qui sont avec lui, nous n’en laisserons pas même un seul.
13 and if to(wards) city to gather and to lift: bear all Israel to(wards) [the] city [the] he/she/it cord and to drag [obj] him till [the] torrent: valley till which not to find there also pebble
Que s’il entre en quelque ville, tout Israël environnera cette ville de cordes; et nous l’entraînerons dans le torrent, afin qu’on n’en trouve pas même une petite pierre.
14 and to say Absalom and all man Israel pleasant counsel Hushai [the] Archite from counsel Ahithophel and LORD to command to/for to break [obj] counsel Ahithophel [the] pleasant to/for in/on/with for the sake of to come (in): bring LORD to(wards) Absalom [obj] [the] distress: harm
Alors Absalom dit et tous les hommes d’Israël: Le conseil de Chusaï, l’Arachite, est meilleur que le conseil d’Achitophel. Ainsi par la volonté du Seigneur fut dissipé le conseil utile d’Achitophel, afin que le Seigneur amenât le malheur sur Absalom.
15 and to say Hushai to(wards) Zadok and to(wards) Abiathar [the] priest like/as this and like/as this to advise Ahithophel [obj] Absalom and [obj] old: elder Israel and like/as this and like/as this to advise I
Et Chusaï dit à Sadoc et à Abiathar, prêtres: C’est de cette manière qu’Achitophel a donné conseil à Absalom et aux anciens d’Israël, et moi j’ai donné tel et tel conseil.
16 and now to send: depart haste and to tell to/for David to/for to say not to lodge [the] night in/on/with plain [the] wilderness and also to pass to pass lest to swallow up to/for king and to/for all [the] people which with him
Maintenant donc, envoyez vite, et annoncez à David, disant: Ne demeurez point cette nuit dans les plaines du désert; mais passez au-delà sans délai, de peur que le roi ne soit englouti, et tout le peuple qui est avec lui.
17 and Jonathan and Ahimaaz to stand: stand in/on/with En-rogel En-rogel and to go: went [the] maidservant and to tell to/for them and they(masc.) to go: went and to tell to/for king David for not be able to/for to see: see to/for to come (in): come [the] city [to]
Or Jonathas et Achimaas étaient près de la fontaine de Rogel: la servante vint, et les avertit; et ils partirent pour rapporter au roi David le message; car ils ne pouvaient être vus, ou entrer dans la ville.
18 and to see: see [obj] them youth and to tell to/for Absalom and to go: went two their haste and to come (in): come to(wards) house: home man in/on/with Bahurim and to/for him well in/on/with court his and to go down there
Mais un certain enfant les vit, et en donna avis à Absalom: or, eux, d’un pas précipité, entrèrent dans la maison d’un certain homme de Bahurim, lequel avait un puits dans sa cour, et ils y descendirent.
19 and to take: take [the] woman and to spread [obj] [the] covering upon face: surface [the] well and to spread upon him [the] grain and not to know word: thing
Cependant la femme prit sa couverture, et retendit sur le puits, comme pour faire sécher de l’orge mondé; et ainsi fut cachée la chose.
20 and to come (in): come servant/slave Absalom to(wards) [the] woman [the] house: home [to] and to say where? Ahimaaz and Jonathan and to say to/for them [the] woman to pass brook [the] water and to seek and not to find and to return: return Jerusalem
Et lorsque les serviteurs d’Absalom furent venus dans la maison, ils dirent à cette femme: Où sont Achimaas et Jonathas? Et la femme leur répondit: Ils ont passé à la hâte, après avoir goûté un peu d’eau. Mais ceux qui les cherchaient, ne les trouvant point, retournèrent à Jérusalem.
21 and to be after to go: went they and to ascend: rise from [the] well and to go: went and to tell to/for king David and to say to(wards) David to arise: rise and to pass haste [obj] [the] water for thus to advise upon you Ahithophel
Et lorsqu’ils s’en furent allés, Achimaas et Jonathas montèrent hors du puits, et, cheminant, ils l’annoncèrent au roi David, et dirent: Levez-vous, et passez le fleuve; car Achitophel a donné tel conseil contre vous.
22 and to arise: rise David and all [the] people which with him and to pass [obj] [the] Jordan till light [the] morning till one not to lack which not to pass [obj] [the] Jordan
David donc se leva, et tout le peuple qui était avec lui, et ils passèrent le Jourdain jusqu’à ce que le jour parût, et il n’en demeura pas même un seul qui ne passât le fleuve.
23 and Ahithophel to see: see for not to make: do counsel his and to saddle/tie [obj] [the] donkey and to arise: rise and to go: went to(wards) house: home his to(wards) city his and to command to(wards) house: home his and to strangle and to die and to bury in/on/with grave father his
Mais Achitophel, voyant que son conseil n’avait pas été suivi, sella son âne et se leva, et s’en alla en sa maison et en sa ville; et, sa maison réglée, il se pendit, et il fut enseveli dans le sépulcre de son père.
24 and David to come (in): come Mahanaim [to] and Absalom to pass [obj] [the] Jordan he/she/it and all man Israel with him
Ensuite David vint dans le camp, et Absalom passa le Jourdain, lui et tous les hommes d’Israël avec lui.
25 and [obj] Amasa to set: appoint Absalom underneath: instead Joab upon [the] army and Amasa son: child man and name his Ithra [the] Ishmaelite which to come (in): marry to(wards) Abigail daughter Nahash sister Zeruiah mother Joab
Et Absalom établit Amasa sur l’armée au lieu de Joab. Or Amasa était fils d’un homme qui s’appelait Jétra, de Jezraël, qui avait été avec Abigaïl, fille de Naas, sœur de Sarvia, laquelle fut mère de Joab.
26 and to camp Israel and Absalom land: country/planet [the] Gilead
Et Israël campa avec Absalom dans la terre de Galaad.
27 and to be like/as to come (in): come David Mahanaim [to] and Shobi son: child Nahash from Rabbah son: descendant/people Ammon and Machir son: child Ammiel from Lo-debar Lo-debar and Barzillai [the] Gileadite from Rogelim
Et lorsque David fut venu dans le camp, Sobi, fils de Naas, de Rabbath des enfants d’Ammon, et Machir, fils d’Ammihel de Lodabar, et Berzellaï, le Galaadite, de Rogelim,
28 bed and basin and article/utensil to form: potter and wheat and barley and flour and roasted and bean and lentil and roasted
Lui offrirent des lits, des tapis, des vases de terre, du blé, de l’orge, de la farine, des grains rôtis, des fèves, des lentilles, des pois grillés.
29 and honey and curd and flock and cheese cattle to approach: bring to/for David and to/for people which with him to/for to eat for to say [the] people hungry and faint and thirsty in/on/with wilderness
Du miel, du beurre, des brebis, et des veaux gras; et ils les donnèrent à David et au peuple qui était avec lui pour manger: car ils supposèrent que le peuple était abattu par la faim et par la soif dans le désert.
