< 2 Samuel 14 >
1 and to know Joab son: child Zeruiah for heart [the] king upon Absalom
Joabu ọmọ Seruiah sì kíyèsi i, pé ọkàn ọba sì fà sí Absalomu.
2 and to send: depart Joab Tekoa [to] and to take: bring from there woman wise and to say to(wards) her to mourn please and to clothe please garment mourning and not to anoint oil and to be like/as woman this day many to mourn upon to die
Joabu sì ránṣẹ́ sí Tekoa, ó sì mú ọlọ́gbọ́n obìnrin kan láti ibẹ̀ wá, ó sì wí fún un pé, “Èmi bẹ̀ ọ́, ṣe bí ẹni tí ń ṣọ̀fọ̀, kí o sì fi aṣọ ọ̀fọ̀ sára, kí o má sì ṣe fi òróró pa ara, kí o sì dàbí obìnrin ti ó ti ń ṣọ̀fọ̀ fún òkú lọ́jọ́ púpọ̀.
3 and to come (in): come to(wards) [the] king and to speak: speak to(wards) him like/as Chronicles [the] this and to set: put Joab [obj] [the] word in/on/with lip her
Kí o sì tọ ọba wá, kí o sọ fún un gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọ̀rọ̀ yìí.” Joabu sì fi ọ̀rọ̀ sí lẹ́nu.
4 and to say [the] woman [the] Tekoa to(wards) [the] king and to fall: fall upon face her land: soil [to] and to bow and to say to save [emph?] [the] king
Nígbà tí obìnrin àrá Tekoa sì ń fẹ́ sọ̀rọ̀ fún ọba, ó wólẹ̀, ó dojúbolẹ̀, o sí bu ọlá fún un, o sì wí pé, “Ọba, gbà mi.”
5 and to say to/for her [the] king what? to/for you and to say truly woman: wife widow I and to die man: husband my
Ọba sì bi í léèrè pé, “Kín ni o ṣe ọ́?” Òun sì dáhùn wí pé, “Nítòótọ́ opó ni èmi ń ṣe, ọkọ mi sì kú.
6 and to/for maidservant your two son: child and to struggle two their in/on/with land: country and nothing to rescue between them and to smite him [the] one [obj] [the] one and to die [obj] him
Ìránṣẹ́bìnrin rẹ̀ sì ti ní ọmọkùnrin méjì, àwọn méjèèjì sì jọ jà lóko, kò sì si ẹni tí yóò là wọ́n, èkínní sì lu èkejì, ó sì pa á.
7 and behold to arise: rise all [the] family upon maidservant your and to say to give: give [obj] to smite brother: male-sibling his and to die him in/on/with soul: life brother: male-sibling his which to kill and to destroy also [obj] [the] to possess: possess and to quench [obj] coal my which to remain to/for lest (to set: put *Q(K)*) to/for man: husband my name and remnant upon face: surface [the] land: planet
Sì wò ó, gbogbo ìdílé dìde sí ìránṣẹ́bìnrin rẹ̀, wọ́n sì wí pé, ‘Fi ẹni tí ó pa arákùnrin rẹ fún wa, àwa ó sì pa á ní ipò ẹ̀mí arákùnrin rẹ̀ tí ó pa, àwa ó sì pa àrólé náà run pẹ̀lú.’ Wọn ó sì pa iná mi tí ó kù, wọn kì yóò sì fi orúkọ tàbí ẹni tí ó kú sílẹ̀ fún ọkọ mi ní ayé.”
8 and to say [the] king to(wards) [the] woman to go: went to/for house: home your and I to command upon you
Ọba sì wí fún obìnrin náà pé, “Lọ sí ilé rẹ̀, èmi ó sì kìlọ̀ nítorí rẹ.”
9 and to say [the] woman [the] Tekoa to(wards) [the] king upon me lord my [the] king [the] iniquity: guilt and upon house: household father my and [the] king and throne his innocent
Obìnrin ará Tekoa náà sì wí fún ọba pé, “Olúwa mi, ọba, jẹ́ kí ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ náà wà lórí mi, àti lórí ìdílé baba mí; kí ọba àti ìtẹ́ rẹ̀ ó jẹ́ aláìlẹ́bi.”
10 and to say [the] king [the] to speak: speak to(wards) you and to come (in): bring him to(wards) me and not to add: again still to/for to touch in/on/with you
Ọba sì wí pé, “Ẹnikẹ́ni tí ó bá sọ̀rọ̀ sí ọ, mú ẹni náà tọ̀ mí wá, òun kì yóò sì tọ́ ọ mọ́.”
11 and to say to remember please [the] king [obj] LORD God your (from to multiply *Q(k)*) to redeem: avenge [the] blood to/for to ruin and not to destroy [obj] son: child my and to say alive LORD if: surely no to fall: fall from hair son: child your land: soil [to]
Ó sì wí pé, “Èmi bẹ̀ ọ́ jẹ́ kí ọba ó rántí Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ̀, kí olùgbẹ̀san ẹ̀jẹ̀ má ṣe ní ipá láti ṣe ìparun, kí wọn o má bá a pa ọmọ mi!” Òun sì wí pé, “Bí Olúwa ti ń bẹ láààyè ọ̀kan nínú irun orí ọmọ rẹ ki yóò bọ sílẹ̀.”
12 and to say [the] woman to speak: speak please maidservant your to(wards) lord my [the] king word and to say to speak: speak
Obìnrin náà sì wí pé, “Èmí bẹ̀ ọ́, jẹ́ kí ìránṣẹ́bìnrin rẹ sọ̀rọ̀ kan fún olúwa mi ọba.” Òun si wí pé, “Máa wí.”
13 and to say [the] woman and to/for what? to devise: devise like/as this upon people God and from to speak: promise [the] king [the] word: promised [the] this like/as guilty to/for lest to return: return [the] king [obj] to banish him
Obìnrin náà sì wí pé, “Nítorí kín ni ìwọ sì ṣe ro irú nǹkan yìí sí àwọn ènìyàn Ọlọ́run? Nítorí pé ní sísọ nǹkan yìí ọba ní ẹ̀bi, nítorí pé ọba kò mú ìsáǹsá rẹ̀ bọ̀ wá ilé.
14 for to die to die and like/as water [the] to pour land: soil [to] which not to gather and not to lift: bear God soul: life and to devise: design plot to/for lest to banish from him to banish
Nítorí pé àwa ó sá à kú, a ó sì dàbí omi tí a tú sílẹ̀ tí a kò sì lè ṣàjọ mọ́; nítorí bí Ọlọ́run kò ti gbà ẹ̀mí rẹ̀, ó sì ti ṣe ọ̀nà kí a má bá a lé ìsáǹsá rẹ̀ kúrò lọ́dọ̀ rẹ.
15 and now which to come (in): come to/for to speak: speak to(wards) [the] king lord my [obj] [the] word: thing [the] this for to fear me [the] people and to say maidservant your to speak: speak please to(wards) [the] king perhaps to make: do [the] king [obj] word: speaking maidservant his
“Ǹjẹ́ nítorí náà ni èmi sì ṣe wá sọ nǹkan yìí fún olúwa mi ọba, bí ó tilẹ̀ jẹ́ pé àwọn ènìyàn ti dẹ́rùbà mí; ìránṣẹ́bìnrin rẹ sì wí pé, ‘Ǹjẹ́ èmi ó sọ fún ọba; ó lè rí bẹ́ẹ̀ pé ọba yóò ṣe ìfẹ́ ìránṣẹ́bìnrin rẹ̀ fún un.
16 for to hear: hear [the] king to/for to rescue [obj] maidservant his from palm [the] man to/for to destroy [obj] me and [obj] son: child my unitedness from inheritance God
Nítorí pé ọba ò gbọ́, láti gbà ìránṣẹ́bìnrin rẹ sílẹ̀ lọ́wọ́ ọkùnrin náà tí ó ń fẹ́ gé èmi àti ọmọ mi pẹ̀lú kúrò nínú ilẹ̀ ìní Ọlọ́run.’
17 and to say maidservant your to be please word lord my [the] king to/for resting for like/as messenger: angel [the] God so lord my [the] king to/for to hear: hear [the] good and [the] bad: evil and LORD God your to be with you
“Ìránṣẹ́bìnrin rẹ̀ sì wí pé, ‘Ǹjẹ́ ọ̀rọ̀ ọba olúwa mi yóò sì jásí ìtùnú; nítorí bí angẹli Ọlọ́run bẹ́ẹ̀ ni olúwa mi ọba láti mọ rere àti búburú: Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ yóò sì wà pẹ̀lú rẹ.’”
18 and to answer [the] king and to say to(wards) [the] woman not please to hide from me word: thing which I to ask [obj] you and to say [the] woman to speak: speak please lord my [the] king
Ọba sì dáhùn, ó sì wí fún obìnrin náà pé, “Má ṣe fi nǹkan tí èmi ó béèrè lọ́wọ́ rẹ pamọ́ fún mi, èmi bẹ̀ ọ́.” Obìnrin náà wí pé, “Jẹ́ kí olúwa mi ọba máa wí?”
19 and to say [the] king hand: power Joab with you in/on/with all this and to answer [the] woman and to say alive soul: myself your lord my [the] king if: surely no there is to/for to go right and to/for to go left from all which to speak: speak lord my [the] king for servant/slave your Joab he/she/it to command me and he/she/it to set: put in/on/with lip maidservant your [obj] all [the] word [the] these
Ọba sì wí pé, “Ọwọ́ Joabu kò ha wà pẹ̀lú rẹ nínú gbogbo èyí?” Obìnrin náà sì dáhùn ó sì wí pé, “Bí ẹ̀mí rẹ ti ń bẹ láààyè, olúwa mi ọba, kò sí ìyípadà sí ọwọ́ ọ̀tún, tàbí sí ọwọ́ òsì nínú gbogbo èyí tí olúwa mi ọba ti wí, nítorí pé Joabu ìránṣẹ́ rẹ, òun ni ó rán mi, òun ni ó sì fi gbogbo ọ̀rọ̀ wọ̀nyí sí ìránṣẹ́bìnrin rẹ lẹ́nu.
20 to/for in/on/with for the sake of to turn: changed [obj] face of [the] word: thing to make: do servant/slave your Joab [obj] [the] word: thing [the] this and lord my wise like/as wisdom messenger: angel [the] God to/for to know [obj] all which in/on/with land: country/planet
Láti mú irú ọ̀rọ̀ wọ̀nyí wá ni Joabu ìránṣẹ́ rẹ ṣe ṣe nǹkan yìí: olúwa mi sì gbọ́n, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọgbọ́n angẹli Ọlọ́run, láti mọ gbogbo nǹkan tí ń bẹ̀ ní ayé.”
21 and to say [the] king to(wards) Joab behold please to make: offer [obj] [the] word: thing [the] this and to go: went to return: return [obj] [the] youth [obj] Absalom
Ọba sì wí fún Joabu pé, “Wò ó, èmi ó ṣe nǹkan yìí, nítorí náà lọ, kí o sì mú ọmọdékùnrin náà Absalomu padà wá.”
22 and to fall: fall Joab to(wards) face his land: soil [to] and to bow and to bless [obj] [the] king and to say Joab [the] day to know servant/slave your for to find favor in/on/with eye: seeing your lord my [the] king which to make: offer [the] king [obj] word (servant/slave your *Q(K)*)
Joabu sì wólẹ̀ ó dojú rẹ̀ bolẹ̀, ó sì tẹríba fún un, ó sì súre fún ọba. Joabu sì wí pé, “Lónìí ni ìránṣẹ́ rẹ mọ̀ pé, èmi rí oore-ọ̀fẹ́ gbà lójú rẹ, olúwa mi, ọba, nítorí pé ọba ṣe ìfẹ́ ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀.”
23 and to arise: rise Joab and to go: went Geshur [to] and to come (in): bring [obj] Absalom Jerusalem
Joabu sì dìde, ó sì lọ sí Geṣuri, ó sì mú Absalomu wá sí Jerusalẹmu.
24 and to say [the] king to turn: turn to(wards) house: home his and face: before my not to see: see and to turn: turn Absalom to(wards) house: home his and face: before [the] king not to see: see
Ọba sì wí pé, “Jẹ́ kí ó yípadà lọ sí ilé rẹ̀, má ṣe jẹ́ kí ó rí ojú mi.” Absalomu sì yípadà sí ilé rẹ̀, kò sì rí ojú ọba.
25 and like/as Absalom not to be man beautiful in/on/with all Israel to/for to boast: praise much from palm: sole foot his and till crown his not to be in/on/with him blemish
Kó sì sí arẹwà kan ní gbogbo Israẹli tí à bá yìn bí Absalomu: láti àtẹ́lẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀ títí dé àtàrí rẹ̀ kò sí àbùkù kan lára rẹ̀.
26 and in/on/with to shave he [obj] head his and to be from end day: year to/for day: year which to shave for heavy upon him and to shave him and to weigh [obj] hair head his hundred shekel in/on/with stone: weight [the] king
Nígbà tí ó bá sì rẹ́ irun orí rẹ̀ (nítorí pé lọ́dọọdún ni òun máa ń rẹ́ ẹ. Nígbà tí ó bá wúwo fún un, òun a sì máa rẹ́ ẹ) òun sì wọn irun orí rẹ̀, ó sì jásí igba ṣékélì nínú òsùwọ̀n ọba.
27 and to beget to/for Absalom three son: child and daughter one and name her Tamar he/she/it to be woman beautiful appearance
A sì bí ọmọkùnrin mẹ́ta fún Absalomu àti ọmọbìnrin kan ti orúkọ rẹ̀ ń jẹ́ Tamari: òun sì jẹ́ obìnrin tí ó lẹ́wà lójú.
28 and to dwell Absalom in/on/with Jerusalem year day and face: before [the] king not to see: see
Absalomu sì gbé ni ọdún méjì ní Jerusalẹmu kò sì rí ojú ọba.
29 and to send: depart Absalom to(wards) Joab to/for to send: depart [obj] him to(wards) [the] king and not be willing to/for to come (in): come to(wards) him and to send: depart still second and not be willing to/for to come (in): come
Absalomu sì ránṣẹ́ sí Joabu, láti rán an sí ọba, ṣùgbọ́n òun kò fẹ́ wá sọ́dọ̀ rẹ̀; ó sì ránṣẹ́ lẹ́ẹ̀kejì òun kò sì fẹ́ wá.
30 and to say to(wards) servant/slave his to see: behold! portion Joab to(wards) hand: themselves my and to/for him there barley to go: went (and to kindle her *Q(K)*) in/on/with fire and to kindle servant/slave Absalom [obj] [the] portion in/on/with fire
Ó sì wí fún àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀ pé, “Wò ó, oko Joabu gbé ti èmi, ó sì ní ọkà barle níbẹ̀; ẹ lọ kí ẹ sì ti iná bọ̀ ọ́.” Àwọn ìránṣẹ́ Absalomu sì tiná bọ oko náà.
31 and to arise: rise Joab and to come (in): come to(wards) Absalom [the] house: home [to] and to say to(wards) him to/for what? to kindle servant/slave your [obj] [the] portion which to/for me in/on/with fire
Joabu sì dìde, ó sì tọ Absalomu wá ní ilé, ó sì wí fún un pé, “Èéṣe tí àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀ fi tiná bọ oko mi?”
32 and to say Absalom to(wards) Joab behold to send: depart to(wards) you to/for to say to come (in): come here/thus and to send: depart [obj] you to(wards) [the] king to/for to say to/for what? to come (in): come from Geshur pleasant to/for me still I there and now to see: see face: before [the] king and if there in/on/with me iniquity: guilt and to die me
Absalomu sì dá Joabu lóhùn pé, “Wò ó, èmi ránṣẹ́ sí ọ, wí pé, ‘Wá níhìn-ín yìí, èmi ó sì rán ọ lọ sọ́dọ̀ ọba, láti béèrè pé, “Kí ni èmi ti Geṣuri wá si? Ìbá sàn fún mí bí ó ṣe pé èmi wà lọ́hùn ún síbẹ̀!”’ Ǹjẹ́ nísinsin yìí jẹ́ kí èmi lọ síwájú ọba bí ó bá sì ṣe ẹ̀bi ń bẹ nínú mi, kí ó pa mí.”
33 and to come (in): come Joab to(wards) [the] king and to tell to/for him and to call: call to to(wards) Absalom and to come (in): come to(wards) [the] king and to bow to/for him upon face his land: soil [to] to/for face: before [the] king and to kiss [the] king to/for Absalom
Joabu sì tọ ọba wá, ó sì rò fún un: ó sì ránṣẹ́ pe Absalomu, òun sì wá sọ́dọ̀ ọba, ó tẹríba fún un, ó sì dojú rẹ̀ bolẹ̀ níwájú ọba, ọba sì fi ẹnu ko Absalomu lẹ́nu.
