2 Kings 7
1 and to say Elisha to hear: hear word LORD thus to say LORD like/as time tomorrow seah fine flour in/on/with shekel and seah barley in/on/with shekel in/on/with gate Samaria
Elisée dit alors: "Ecoutez la parole de l’Eternel; voici ce qu’il annonce: Demain, à pareille heure, à la porte de Samarie, on aura une mesure de fleur de farine pour un sicle, et pour un sicle aussi deux mesures d’orge."
2 and to answer [the] officer which to/for king to lean upon hand his [obj] man [the] God and to say behold LORD to make window in/on/with heaven to be [the] word: thing [the] this and to say look! you to see: see in/on/with eye your and from there not to eat
L’Officier sur lequel le roi avait l’habitude de s’appuyer s’adressa en ces termes à l’homme de Dieu: "Même si Dieu ouvrait des cataractes au ciel, pareille chose serait-elle possible? Tu le verras de tes yeux, lui répondit le prophète, mais tu n’en jouiras point."
3 and four human to be be leprous entrance [the] gate and to say man: anyone to(wards) neighbor his what? we to dwell here till to die
Or, quatre lépreux se trouvaient à l’entrée de la porte. Ils se dirent l’un à l’autre: "Pourquoi rester ici à attendre la mort?
4 if to say to come (in): come [the] city and [the] famine in/on/with city and to die there and if to dwell here and to die and now to go: come! and to fall: fall to(wards) camp Syria if to live us to live and if to die us and to die
Si nous nous décidons à entrer dans la ville, la famine y règne et nous y mourrons; si nous demeurons ici, nous mourrons également. Eh bien, allons nous jeter dans le camp des Syriens; s’ils nous laissent en vie, nous vivrons, et s’ils nous tuent, nous mourrons."
5 and to arise: rise in/on/with twilight to/for to come (in): come to(wards) camp Syria and to come (in): come till end camp Syria and behold nothing there man: anyone
Ils se levèrent donc au crépuscule pour se rendre au camp des Syriens; arrivés à l’extrémité du camp, ils remarquèrent qu’il n’y avait personne.
6 and Lord to hear: hear [obj] camp Syria voice: sound chariot voice: sound horse voice: sound strength: soldiers great: large and to say man: anyone to(wards) brother: compatriot his behold to hire upon us king Israel [obj] king [the] Hittite and [obj] king Egypt to/for to come (in): come upon us
Or, le Seigneur avait fait entendre aux troupes syriennes un bruit de chars, de chevaux et de nombreux soldats; ils s’étaient alors dit l’un à l’autre: "Le roi d’Israël a certainement soudoyé contre nous les princes des Héthéens et ceux d’Egypte pour qu’ils aillent nous attaquer."
7 and to arise: rise and to flee in/on/with twilight and to leave: forsake [obj] tent their and [obj] horse their and [obj] donkey their [the] camp like/as as which he/she/it and to flee to(wards) soul: life their
Ils s’étaient donc enfuis pendant le crépuscule, abandonnant leurs tentes, leurs chevaux, leurs ânes, enfin le camp tel qu’il était; ils avaient pris la fuite pour sauver leur vie.
8 and to come (in): come [the] be leprous [the] these till end [the] camp and to come (in): come to(wards) tent one and to eat and to drink and to lift: bear from there silver: money and gold and garment and to go: went and to hide and to return: return and to come (in): come to(wards) tent another and to lift: bear from there and to go: went and to hide
Donc ces lépreux, parvenus à l’extrémité du camp, entrèrent dans une tente, y mangèrent et burent, en emportèrent de l’argent, de l’or et des vêtements, qu’ils allèrent enfouir; puis ils entrèrent dans une autre tente, d’où ils emportèrent des objets qu’ils enfouirent également.
9 and to say man: anyone to(wards) neighbor his not right we to make: do [the] day: today [the] this day: today good news he/she/it and we be silent and to wait till light [the] morning and to find us iniquity: punishment and now to go: come! and to come (in): come and to tell house: household [the] king
Ils se dirent alors l’un à l’autre: "Nous n’agissons pas bien. Aujourd’hui, c’est un jour de bonne nouvelle; si nous gardons le silence et que nous attendions jusqu’au jour, nous nous rendons passibles d’un châtiment. Venez donc, allons l’annoncer dans le palais du roi."
10 and to come (in): come and to call: call to to(wards) gatekeeper [the] city and to tell to/for them to/for to say to come (in): come to(wards) camp Syria and behold nothing there man: anyone and voice: listen man that if: except if: except [the] horse to bind and [the] donkey to bind and tent like/as as which they(masc.)
Ils allèrent appeler un gardien de la ville et lui apprirent cette nouvelle: "Nous avons pénétré dans le camp des Syriens et nous n’y avons vu âme qui vive ni entendu personne; les chevaux y sont attachés, les ânes attachés, et les tentes telles quelles."
11 and to call: call to [the] gatekeeper and to tell house: household [the] king within
Il appela les gardes, qui firent connaître cette nouvelle à l’intérieur du palais du roi.
12 and to arise: rise [the] king night and to say to(wards) servant/slave his to tell please to/for you [obj] which to make: do to/for us Syria to know for hungry we and to come out: come from [the] camp to/for to hide (in/on/with land: country *Q(K)*) to/for to say for to come out: come from [the] city and to capture them alive and to(wards) [the] city to come (in): come
Le roi se leva pendant la nuit, et dit à ses serviteurs: "je veux vous divulguer ce que les Syriens ont organisé contre nous: sachant que nous sommes affamés, ils ont quitté le camp pour se cacher dans les champs, se disant: Quand ils sortiront de la ville, nous les prendrons vivants et nous entrerons dans la ville."
13 and to answer one from servant/slave his and to say and to take: take please five from [the] horse [the] to remain which to remain in/on/with her behold they like/as all (crowd *Q(K)*) Israel which to remain in/on/with her look! they like/as all crowd Israel which to finish and to send: depart and to see: see
L’Un des serviteurs s’exprima alors ainsi: "Qu’on prenne cinq des chevaux restés dans la ville: ou bien ils seront comme cette foule d’Israélites qui a survécu, ou comme cette foule d’Israélites qui a péri. Envoyons-les et nous verrons."
14 and to take: take two chariot horse and to send: depart [the] king after camp Syria to/for to say to go: went and to see: see
On prit deux chars attelés de chevaux, que le roi envoya du côté du camp syrien, en disant: "Allez voir."
15 and to go: follow after them till [the] Jordan and behold all [the] way: road full garment and article/utensil which to throw Syria (in/on/with to hurry they *Q(K)*) and to return: return [the] messenger and to tell to/for king
Ils suivirent les traces des Syriens jusqu’au Jourdain, et remarquèrent que toute la route était jonchée de vêtements et de bagages que les Syriens avaient jetés dans leur précipitation. Les envoyés retournèrent pour en informer le roi.
16 and to come out: come [the] people and to plunder [obj] camp Syria and to be seah fine flour in/on/with shekel and seah barley in/on/with shekel like/as word LORD
Alors le peuple alla piller le camp syrien, et l’on eut une mesure de fleur de farine pour un sicle, et pour un sicle aussi deux mesures d’orge, selon la parole de l’Eternel.
17 and [the] king to reckon: overseer [obj] [the] officer which to lean upon hand: power his upon [the] gate and to trample him [the] people in/on/with gate and to die like/as as which to speak: speak man [the] God which to speak: speak in/on/with to go down [the] king to(wards) him
Le roi avait préposé à la porte de la ville l’officier sur lequel il avait l’habitude de s’appuyer; écrasé par la foule à cette porte même, il périt, ainsi que l’avait annoncé l’homme de Dieu, qui avait fait cette prédiction au moment où le roi s’était avancé vers lui.
18 and to be like/as to speak: speak man [the] God to(wards) [the] king to/for to say seah barley in/on/with shekel and seah fine flour in/on/with shekel to be like/as time tomorrow in/on/with gate Samaria
En effet, lorsque l’homme de Dieu avait ainsi parlé au roi: "Demain, à pareille heure, on aura à la porte de Samarie deux mesures d’orge pour un sicle, et, pour un sicle aussi, une mesure de fleur de farine,"
19 and to answer [the] officer [obj] man [the] God and to say and behold LORD to make window in/on/with heaven to be like/as Chronicles [the] this and to say look! you to see: see in/on/with eye your and from there not to eat
l’officier avait fait cette réponse à l’homme de Dieu: "Même si l’Eternel ouvrait des cataractes au ciel, pareil fait se réaliserait-il? Tu le verras de tes yeux, avait alors répliqué le prophète, mais tu n’en jouiras pas."
20 and to be to/for him so and to trample [obj] him [the] people in/on/with gate and to die
Ainsi lui arriva-t-il; la foule l’écrasa à la porte, et il périt.
