2 Kings 5

1 and Naaman ruler army king Syria to be man great: large to/for face: before lord his and to lift: kindness face: kindness for in/on/with him to give: give LORD deliverance: victory to/for Syria and [the] man to be mighty man strength be leprous

Nàaman, capo dell'esercito del re di Aram, era un personaggio autorevole presso il suo signore e stimato, perché per suo mezzo il Signore aveva concesso la vittoria agli Aramei. Ma questo uomo prode era lebbroso.

2 and Syria to come out: come band and to take captive from land: country/planet Israel maiden small and to be to/for face: before woman: wife Naaman

Ora bande aramee in una razzia avevano rapito dal paese di Israele una giovinetta, che era finita al servizio della moglie di Nàaman.

Essa disse alla padrona: «Se il mio signore si rivolgesse al profeta che è in Samaria, certo lo libererebbe dalla lebbra».

Il re di Aram gli disse: «Vacci! Io invierò una lettera al re di Israele». Quegli partì, prendendo con sé dieci talenti d'argento, seimila sicli d'oro e dieci vestiti.

Portò la lettera al re di Israele, nella quale si diceva: «Ebbene, insieme con questa lettera ho mandato da te Nàaman, mio ministro, perché tu lo curi dalla lebbra».

7 and to be like/as to call: read out king Israel [obj] [the] scroll: document and to tear garment his and to say God I to/for to die and to/for to live for this to send: depart to(wards) me to/for to gather man from leprosy his for surely to know please and to see: see for to meet he/she/it to/for me

Letta la lettera, il re di Israele si stracciò le vesti dicendo: «Sono forse Dio per dare la morte o la vita, perché costui mi mandi un lebbroso da guarire? Sì, ora potete constatare chiaramente che egli cerca pretesti contro di me».

8 and to be like/as to hear: hear Elisha man [the] God for to tear king Israel [obj] garment his and to send: depart to(wards) [the] king to/for to say to/for what? to tear garment your to come (in): come please to(wards) me and to know for there prophet in/on/with Israel

Quando Eliseo, uomo di Dio, seppe che il re si era stracciate le vesti, mandò a dire al re: «Perché ti sei stracciate le vesti? Quell'uomo venga da me e saprà che c'è un profeta in Israele».

9 and to come (in): come Naaman (in/on/with horse his *Q(K)*) and in/on/with chariot his and to stand: stand entrance [the] house: home to/for Elisha

Nàaman arrivò con i suoi cavalli e con il suo carro e si fermò alla porta della casa di Eliseo.

10 and to send: depart to(wards) him Elisha messenger to/for to say to go: went and to wash: wash seven beat in/on/with Jordan and to return: rescue flesh your to/for you and be pure

Eliseo gli mandò un messaggero per dirgli: «Và, bagnati sette volte nel Giordano: la tua carne tornerà sana e tu sarai guarito».

11 and be angry Naaman and to go: went and to say behold to say to(wards) me to come out: come to come out: come and to stand: stand and to call: call to in/on/with name LORD God his and to wave hand his to(wards) [the] place and to gather [the] be leprous

Nàaman si sdegnò e se ne andò protestando: «Ecco, io pensavo: Certo, verrà fuori, si fermerà, invocherà il nome del Signore suo Dio, toccando con la mano la parte malata e sparirà la lebbra.

12 not pleasant (Amana *Q(K)*) and Pharpar river Damascus from all water Israel not to wash: wash in/on/with them and be pure and to turn and to go: went in/on/with rage

Forse l'Abana e il Parpar, fiumi di Damasco, non sono migliori di tutte le acque di Israele? Non potrei bagnarmi in quelli per essere guarito?». Si voltò e se ne partì adirato.

Egli, allora, scese e si lavò nel Giordano sette volte, secondo la parola dell'uomo di Dio, e la sua carne ridivenne come la carne di un giovinetto; egli era guarito.

15 and to return: return to(wards) man [the] God he/she/it and all camp his and to come (in): come and to stand: stand to/for face: before his and to say behold please to know for nothing God in/on/with all [the] land: country/planet that if: except if: except in/on/with Israel and now to take: recieve please blessing from with servant/slave your

Tornò con tutto il seguito dall'uomo di Dio; entrò e si presentò a lui dicendo: «Ebbene, ora so che non c'è Dio su tutta la terra se non in Israele». Ora accetta un dono dal tuo servo».

16 and to say alive LORD which to stand: stand to/for face: before his if: surely no to take: recieve and to press in/on/with him to/for to take: recieve and to refuse

Quegli disse: «Per la vita del Signore, alla cui presenza io sto, non lo prenderò». Nàaman insisteva perché accettasse, ma egli rifiutò.

17 and to say Naaman and not to give: give please to/for servant/slave your burden pair mule land: soil for not to make: offer still servant/slave your burnt offering and sacrifice to/for God another that if: except if: except to/for LORD

Allora Nàaman disse: «Se è no, almeno sia permesso al tuo servo di caricare qui tanta terra quanta ne portano due muli, perché il tuo servo non intende compiere più un olocausto o un sacrificio ad altri dei, ma solo al Signore.

18 to/for word: thing [the] this to forgive LORD to/for servant/slave your in/on/with to come (in): come lord my house: temple Rimmon to/for to bow there [to] and he/she/it to lean upon hand my and to bow house: temple Rimmon in/on/with to bow I house: temple Rimmon to forgive (please *Q(K)*) LORD to/for servant/slave your in/on/with word: thing [the] this

Tuttavia il Signore perdoni il tuo servo se, quando il mio signore entra nel tempio di Rimmòn per prostrarsi, si appoggia al mio braccio e se anche io mi prostro nel tempio di Rimmòn, durante la sua adorazione nel tempio di Rimmòn; il Signore perdoni il tuo servo per questa azione».

19 and to say to/for him to go: went to/for peace and to go: went from with him distance land: country/planet

Quegli disse: «Và in pace». Partì da lui e fece un bel tratto di strada.

20 and to say Gehazi youth Elisha man [the] God behold to withhold lord my [obj] Naaman [the] Syrian [the] this from to take: recieve from hand his [obj] which to come (in): bring alive LORD for if: except to run: run after him and to take: recieve from with him anything

Ghecazi, servo dell'uomo di Dio Eliseo, disse fra sé: «Ecco, il mio signore è stato tanto generoso con questo Nàaman arameo da non prendere quanto egli aveva portato; per la vita del Signore, gli correrò dietro e prenderò qualche cosa da lui».

21 and to pursue Gehazi after Naaman and to see: see Naaman to run: run after him and to fall: fall from upon [the] chariot to/for to encounter: meet him and to say peace: well-being

Ghecazi inseguì Nàaman. Questi, vedendolo correre verso di sé, scese dal carro per andargli incontro e gli domandò: «Tutto bene?».

22 and to say peace: well-being lord my to send: depart me to/for to say behold now this to come (in): come to(wards) me two youth from mountain: hill country Ephraim from son: child [the] prophet to give: give [emph?] please to/for them talent silver: money and two change garment

Quegli rispose: «Tutto bene. Il mio signore mi ha mandato a dirti: Ecco, proprio ora, sono giunti da me due giovani dalle montagne di Efraim, da parte dei figli dei profeti. Dammi per essi un talento d'argento e due vestiti».

23 and to say Naaman be willing to take: recieve talent and to break through in/on/with him and to confine talent silver: money in/on/with two purse and two change garment and to give: put to(wards) two youth his and to lift: bear to/for face: before his

Nàaman disse: «E' meglio che tu prenda due talenti» e insistette con lui. Legò due talenti d'argento in due sacchi insieme con due vestiti e li diede a due dei suoi giovani, che li portarono davanti a Ghecazi.

24 and to come (in): come to(wards) [the] hill and to take: take from hand their and to reckon: put in/on/with house: home and to send: depart [obj] [the] human and to go: went

Giunto all'Ofel, questi prese dalle loro mani il tutto e lo depose in casa, quindi rimandò gli uomini, che se ne andarono.

25 and he/she/it to come (in): come and to stand: stand to(wards) lord his and to say to(wards) him Elisha (from where? *Q(K)*) Gehazi and to say not to go: went servant/slave your where? and where?

Poi egli andò a presentarsi al suo padrone. Eliseo gli domandò: «Ghecazi, da dove vieni?». Rispose: «Il tuo servo non è andato in nessun luogo».

Quegli disse: «Non era forse presente il mio spirito quando quell'uomo si voltò dal suo carro per venirti incontro? Era forse il tempo di accettare denaro e di accettare abiti, oliveti, vigne, bestiame minuto e grosso, schiavi e schiave?

27 and leprosy Naaman to cleave in/on/with you and in/on/with seed: children your to/for forever: enduring and to come out: come from to/for face: before his be leprous like/as snow

Ma la lebbra di Nàaman si attaccherà a te e alla tua discendenza per sempre». Egli si allontanò da Eliseo, bianco come la neve per la lebbra.
