2 Kings 21
1 son: aged two ten year Manasseh in/on/with to reign he and fifty and five year to reign in/on/with Jerusalem and name mother his Hephzibah Hephzibah
Manasye berumur 12 tahun ketika ia menjadi raja Yehuda, dan ia memerintah di Yerusalem 55 tahun lamanya. Ibunya bernama Hefzibah.
2 and to make: do [the] bad: evil in/on/with eye: seeing LORD like/as abomination [the] nation which to possess: take LORD from face: before son: descendant/people Israel
Manasye berdosa kepada TUHAN, karena mengikuti kebiasaan-kebiasaan jahat bangsa-bangsa yang diusir TUHAN dari Kanaan pada waktu orang Israel memasuki negeri itu.
3 and to return: rescue and to build [obj] [the] high place which to perish Hezekiah father his and to arise: raise altar to/for Baal and to make Asherah like/as as which to make: do Ahab king Israel and to bow to/for all army [the] heaven and to serve: minister [obj] them
Tempat-tempat penyembahan dewa yang telah dimusnahkan Hizkia ayahnya dibangunnya kembali. Ia membangun mezbah-mezbah untuk beribadat kepada Baal, dan membuat patung Dewi Asyera, seperti yang dilakukan oleh Ahab raja Israel. Manasye juga menyembah bintang-bintang.
4 and to build altar in/on/with house: temple LORD which to say LORD in/on/with Jerusalem to set: put [obj] name my
TUHAN telah berkata bahwa Yerusalem adalah tempat kehadiran-Nya dan tempat ibadat kepada-Nya, tetapi di sana di Rumah TUHAN, Manasye telah mendirikan mezbah-mezbah untuk dewa-dewa.
5 and to build altar to/for all army [the] heaven in/on/with two court house: temple LORD
Di kedua halaman Rumah TUHAN itu ia mendirikan mezbah-mezbah untuk penyembahan kepada bintang-bintang.
6 and to pass [obj] son: child his in/on/with fire and to divine and to divine and to make: do medium and spiritist to multiply to/for to make: do [the] bad: evil in/on/with eye: seeing LORD to/for to provoke
Anaknya dipersembahkannya sebagai kurban bakaran. Manasye juga melakukan praktek-praktek kedukunan, penujuman, ilmu gaib, dan meminta petunjuk kepada roh-roh. Ia sangat berdosa kepada TUHAN sehingga membangkitkan kemarahan-Nya.
7 and to set: make [obj] idol [the] Asherah which to make in/on/with house: home which to say LORD to(wards) David and to(wards) Solomon son: child his in/on/with house: home [the] this and in/on/with Jerusalem which to choose from all tribe Israel to set: put [obj] name my to/for forever: enduring
Lambang Dewi Asyera ditaruhnya di dalam Rumah TUHAN, padahal mengenai tempat itu TUHAN telah berkata kepada Daud dan Salomo putranya, "Rumah-Ku dan kota Yerusalem ini, yang telah Kupilih dari antara wilayah kedua belas suku Israel, adalah tempat yang Kutentukan sebagai tempat ibadat kepada-Ku.
8 and not to add: again to/for to wander foot Israel from [the] land: soil which to give: give to/for father their except if to keep: careful to/for to make: do like/as all which to command them and to/for all [the] instruction which to command [obj] them servant/slave my Moses
Dan kalau umat Israel mentaati semua perintah-Ku dan menuruti hukum-hukum yang diberikan Musa hamba-Ku kepada mereka, maka Aku tidak akan membiarkan mereka diusir dari negeri yang telah Kuberikan kepada leluhur mereka."
9 and not to hear: hear and to go astray them Manasseh to/for to make: do [obj] [the] bad: evil from [the] nation which to destroy LORD from face: before son: descendant/people Israel
Tetapi orang Yehuda tidak taat kepada TUHAN, dan Manasye malah menyebabkan mereka melakukan dosa-dosa yang lebih jahat dari dosa yang dilakukan oleh bangsa-bangsa yang diusir TUHAN dari Kanaan pada waktu umat Israel memasuki negeri itu.
10 and to speak: speak LORD in/on/with hand: by servant/slave his [the] prophet to/for to say
Sebab itu melalui para nabi, hamba-hamba TUHAN, TUHAN berkata,
11 because which to make Manasseh king Judah [the] abomination [the] these be evil from all which to make: do [the] Amorite which to/for face: before his and to sin also [obj] Judah in/on/with idol his
"Raja Manasye jahat sekali. Perbuatannya jauh lebih jahat dari perbuatan orang Kanaan. Dengan berhala-berhala yang dibuatnya, ia menyebabkan orang Yehuda berdosa.
12 to/for so thus to say LORD God Israel look! I to come (in): bring distress: harm upon Jerusalem and Judah which all (to hear: hear her *Q(K)*) to tingle two ear his
Karena itu, Aku, TUHAN Allah yang disembah oleh umat Israel, akan mendatangkan bencana yang sangat besar ke atas Yerusalem dan Yehuda sehingga setiap orang yang mendengar tentang hal itu akan terkejut.
13 and to stretch upon Jerusalem [obj] line Samaria and [obj] level house: household Ahab and to wipe [obj] Jerusalem like/as as which to wipe [obj] [the] dish to wipe and to overturn upon face her
Yerusalem akan Kuhukum seperti Aku menghukum Samaria dan Ahab raja Israel serta keturunannya. Yerusalem akan Kusapu bersih seperti piring yang telah dicuci dan dibalikkan.
14 and to leave [obj] remnant inheritance my and to give: give them in/on/with hand: power enemy their and to be to/for plunder and to/for plunder to/for all enemy their
Penduduknya yang masih tertinggal akan Kubiarkan menjadi mangsa bagi musuh-musuhnya, yang akan melucuti mereka dan menjarahi negeri mereka.
15 because which to make: do [obj] [the] bad: evil in/on/with eye: seeing my and to be to provoke [obj] me from [the] day: today which to come out: come father their from Egypt and till [the] day: today [the] this
Semuanya itu akan Kulakukan terhadap umat-Ku karena mereka berdosa kepada-Ku dan membangkitkan kemarahan-Ku sejak leluhur mereka keluar dari Mesir sampai pada hari ini."
16 and also blood innocent to pour: kill Manasseh to multiply much till which to fill [obj] Jerusalem lip: edge to/for lip: edge to/for alone from sin his which to sin [obj] Judah to/for to make: do [the] bad: evil in/on/with eye: seeing LORD
Selain membuat orang Yehuda berdosa kepada TUHAN dengan menyembah berhala, Manasye juga membunuh sangat banyak orang yang tak bersalah sehingga darah mengalir di mana-mana di Yerusalem.
17 and remainder word: deed Manasseh and all which to make: do and sin his which to sin not they(masc.) to write upon scroll: book Chronicles [the] day to/for king Judah
Kisah lainnya mengenai Raja Manasye dan mengenai dosa-dosa yang dilakukannya, dicatat dalam buku Sejarah Raja-raja Yehuda.
18 and to lie down: be dead Manasseh with father his and to bury in/on/with garden house: home his in/on/with Garden (of Uzza) (Garden of) Uzza and to reign Amon son: child his underneath: instead him
Manasye meninggal dan dikuburkan di taman istana, yaitu taman Uza. Amon putranya menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
19 son: aged twenty and two year Amon in/on/with to reign he and two year to reign in/on/with Jerusalem and name mother his Meshullemeth daughter Haruz from Jotbah
Amon berumur 22 tahun ketika ia menjadi raja Yehuda dan ia memerintah di Yerusalem dua tahun lamanya. Ibunya bernama Mesulemet anak Harus, orang Yotba.

Seperti ayahnya, ia pun berdosa kepada TUHAN.
21 and to go: walk in/on/with all [the] way: conduct which to go: walk father his and to serve: minister [obj] [the] idol which to serve: minister father his and to bow to/for them
Ia meniru perbuatan-perbuatan ayahnya, dan menyembah berhala-berhala yang disembah ayahnya.
22 and to leave: forsake [obj] LORD God father his and not to go: walk in/on/with way: conduct LORD
Ia tidak hidup menurut kemauan TUHAN, bahkan meninggalkan TUHAN, Allah yang disembah oleh leluhurnya.
23 and to conspire servant/slave Amon upon him and to die [obj] [the] king in/on/with house: home his
Pegawai-pegawai Raja Amon berkomplot melawan dia dan membunuhnya di istana.
24 and to smite people [the] land: country/planet [obj] all [the] to conspire upon [the] king Amon and to reign people [the] land: country/planet [obj] Josiah son: child his underneath: instead him
Tetapi rakyat Yehuda membunuh para pembunuh Raja Amon itu, lalu mengangkat Yosia anaknya, menjadi raja.

Amon dikuburkan di kuburan di taman Uza. Yosia anaknya menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
