2 Kings 17
1 in/on/with year two ten to/for Ahaz king Judah to reign Hoshea son: child Elah in/on/with Samaria upon Israel nine year
Vào năm thứ mười hai đời A-cha, vua Giu-đa, Ô-sê, con Ê-la lên làm vua Ít-ra-ên, cai trị chín năm tại Sa-ma-ri.

Ô-sê làm điều ác trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu nhưng không đến nỗi như các vua Ít-ra-ên trước.
3 upon him to ascend: rise Shalmaneser king Assyria and to be to/for him Hoshea servant/slave and to return: pay to/for him offering: tribute
Sanh-ma-na-sa, vua A-sy-ri đem quân đánh Ít-ra-ên. Ô-sê thua, phải thần phục và nạp cống lễ cho A-sy-ri.
4 and to find king Assyria in/on/with Hoshea conspiracy which to send: depart messenger to(wards) So king Egypt and not to ascend: offer up offering: tribute to/for king Assyria like/as year in/on/with year and to restrain him king Assyria and to bind him house: home prison
Nhưng Ô-sê mưu phản, sai sứ giả đi Ai Cập nhờ vua Sô giúp đỡ. Hành động này không qua khỏi mắt vua A-sy-ri. Ngoài ra, Ô-sê bắt đầu ngưng nạp cống thuế hằng năm cho A-sy-ri, nên vua A-sy-ri bắt Ô-sê xiềng lại, đem bỏ tù.

Quân A-sy-ri đánh phá khắp nơi và vây Sa-ma-ri suốt ba năm.
6 in/on/with year [the] ninth to/for Hoshea to capture king Assyria [obj] Samaria and to reveal: remove [obj] Israel Assyria [to] and to dwell [obj] them in/on/with Halah and in/on/with Habor river Gozan and city Mede
Vào năm thứ chín đời Ô-sê, Sa-ma-ri thất thủ. Người Ít-ra-ên bị bắt đày qua A-sy-ri, bị tập trung tại Cha-la, và trên bờ Sông Cha-bo ở Gô-xan, và các thành trong nước Mê-đi.
7 and to be for to sin son: descendant/people Israel to/for LORD God their [the] to ascend: establish [obj] them from land: country/planet Egypt from underneath: owning hand: owner Pharaoh king Egypt and to fear: revere God another
Những việc này xảy ra vì người Ít-ra-ên phạm tội với Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của họ, Đấng đã đem họ ra khỏi Ai Cập, đã cứu họ khỏi quyền lực của Pha-ra-ôn. Họ đi thờ các thần khác,
8 and to go: walk in/on/with statute [the] nation which to possess: take LORD from face: before son: descendant/people Israel and king Israel which to make: do
theo thói tục xấu xa của các thổ dân bị Chúa Hằng Hữu đuổi đi để lấy đất cho họ ở, và theo quy lệ sai lầm của các vua Ít-ra-ên mới lập ra.
9 and to do secretly son: descendant/people Israel word: thing which not right upon LORD God their and to build to/for them high place in/on/with all city their from tower to watch till city fortification
Dân chúng lén lút làm những việc bất chính và việc không đẹp lòng Chúa Hằng Hữu Đức Chúa Trời của họ; xây miếu thờ tà thần trên các chỗ cao khắp nơi, ngay cả trên vọng canh, thành lũy;
10 and to stand to/for them pillar and Asherah upon all hill high and underneath: under all tree luxuriant
dựng trụ thờ, tượng nữ thần A-sê-ra trên đồi núi, dưới cây xanh;
11 and to offer: offer there in/on/with all high place like/as nation which to reveal: remove LORD from face: before their and to make: do word: thing bad: evil to/for to provoke [obj] LORD
đốt hương trong các miếu trên đồi giống như các dân đã bị Chúa Hằng Hữu đuổi đi. Các hành động gian ác này đã làm Chúa nổi giận.
12 and to serve: minister [the] idol which to say LORD to/for them not to make: do [obj] [the] word: thing [the] this
Họ thờ thần tượng, mặc dù Chúa Hằng Hữu đã ngăn cấm.
13 and to testify LORD in/on/with Israel and in/on/with Judah in/on/with hand: by all (prophet *Q(K)*) all seer to/for to say to return: turn back from way: conduct your [the] bad: evil and to keep: obey commandment my statute my like/as all [the] instruction which to command [obj] father your and which to send: depart to(wards) you in/on/with hand: by servant/slave my [the] prophet
Chúa Hằng Hữu sai các tiên tri cảnh cáo Ít-ra-ên và Giu-đa để họ bỏ đường tội ác, tuân giữ điều răn, luật lệ Ngài đã dùng các tiên tri truyền cho tổ tiên họ thuở xưa.
14 and not to hear: hear and to harden [obj] neck their like/as neck father their which not be faithful in/on/with LORD God their
Nhưng họ nào có nghe, lại cứ ngoan cố chẳng kém gì tổ tiên, không tin Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời mình.
15 and to reject [obj] statute: decree his and [obj] covenant his which to cut: make(covenant) with father their and [obj] testimony his which to testify in/on/with them and to go: follow after [the] vanity and to become vain and after [the] nation which around them which to command LORD [obj] them to/for lest to make: do like/as them
Họ coi thường luật lệ và giao ước Ngài đã kết với tổ tiên họ, và những lời cảnh cáo của Ngài. Họ theo các thần nhảm nhí, và chính họ trở nên người xằng bậy. Mặc dù Chúa cấm đoán, họ vẫn bắt chước những dân tộc sống chung quanh.
16 and to leave: forsake [obj] all commandment LORD God their and to make to/for them liquid (two *Q(K)*) calf and to make Asherah and to bow to/for all army [the] heaven and to serve: minister [obj] [the] Baal

Họ đem con trai, con gái thiêu sống để tế thần. Họ tin bói toán, phù thủy, và chuyên làm điều ác trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu, khiến Ngài giận vô cùng.
18 and be angry LORD much in/on/with Israel and to turn aside: remove them from upon face his not to remain except tribe Judah to/for alone him
Ngài đuổi họ đi nơi khác, chỉ để cho đại tộc Giu-đa ở lại.
19 also Judah not to keep: obey [obj] commandment LORD God their and to go: walk in/on/with statute Israel which to make
Giu-đa cũng chẳng tuân giữ các điều răn của Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời mình, nhưng theo gương Ít-ra-ên.
20 and to reject LORD in/on/with all seed: children Israel and to afflict them and to give: give them in/on/with hand: power to plunder till which to throw them from face his
Vì thế, Chúa Hằng Hữu từ bỏ tất cả con cháu Gia-cốp, trừng phạt họ, và để cho kẻ thù bóc lột họ. Cuối cùng Ngài đuổi họ đi nơi khác.
21 for to tear Israel from upon house: household David and to reign [obj] Jeroboam son: child Nebat (and to banish *Q(K)*) Jeroboam [obj] Israel from after LORD and to sin them sin great: large
Khi Ít-ra-ên tách ra khỏi chủ quyền nhà Đa-vít, họ tôn Giê-rô-bô-am, con Nê-bát, làm vua. Giê-rô-bô-am khiến Ít-ra-ên bỏ Chúa Hằng Hữu, phạm tội nặng nề.
22 and to go: walk son: descendant/people Israel in/on/with all sin Jeroboam which to make: do not to turn aside: depart from her
Người Ít-ra-ên phạm tất cả tội Giê-rô-bô-am phạm. Họ không từ một tội nào,
23 till which to turn aside: remove LORD [obj] Israel from upon face his like/as as which to speak: speak in/on/with hand: by all servant/slave his [the] prophet and to reveal: remove Israel from upon land: soil his Assyria [to] till [the] day [the] this
cho đến khi Chúa Hằng Hữu đuổi họ đi, như Ngài đã bảo đầy tớ Ngài là các tiên tri cảnh cáo họ trước. Như vậy, người Ít-ra-ên bị đày qua A-sy-ri, và họ ở đó cho đến ngày nay.
24 and to come (in): bring king Assyria from Babylon and from Cuthah [to] and from Ivvah and from Hamath and Sepharvaim and to dwell in/on/with city Samaria underneath: instead son: descendant/people Israel and to possess: take [obj] Samaria and to dwell in/on/with city her
Vua A-sy-ri đem dân ở Ba-by-lôn, Cư-tha, A-va, Ha-mát, và Sê-phạt-va-im đến định cư ở trong các thành của Sa-ma-ri và các thành khác của Ít-ra-ên.
25 and to be in/on/with beginning to dwell they there not to fear [obj] LORD and to send: depart LORD in/on/with them [obj] [the] lion and to be to kill in/on/with them
Khi mới đến đất Ít-ra-ên, những người này không kính sợ Chúa Hằng Hữu, nên Ngài cho sư tử đến giết một số.
26 and to say to/for king Assyria to/for to say [the] nation which to reveal: remove and to dwell in/on/with city Samaria not to know [obj] justice: rule God [the] land: country/planet and to send: depart in/on/with them [obj] [the] lion and behold they to die [obj] them like/as as which nothing they to know [obj] justice: rule God [the] land: country/planet
Khi vua A-sy-ri nhận được phúc trình: “Những người được đem qua Sa-ma-ri không biết luật của Thần địa phương, nên Thần ấy sai sư tử vồ họ chết.”
27 and to command king Assyria to/for to say to go: send there [to] one from [the] priest which to reveal: remove from there and to go: went and to dwell there and to show them [obj] justice: rule God [the] land: country/planet
Vua ra lệnh đem một thầy tế lễ Ít-ra-ên đã bị đày trở về Sa-ma-ri, để dạy những người định cư luật lệ của Thần địa phương.
28 and to come (in): come one from [the] priest which to reveal: remove from Samaria and to dwell in/on/with Bethel Bethel and to be to show [obj] them how? to fear [obj] LORD
Vậy, một thầy tế lễ từ Sa-ma-ri được đưa về Bê-tên, dạy những người mới đến cách phụng thờ Chúa Hằng Hữu.
29 and to be to make nation nation God his and to rest in/on/with house: home [the] high place which to make [the] Samaritan nation nation in/on/with city their which they(masc.) to dwell there
Tuy nhiên, những người này vẫn thờ thần của nước họ. Họ để tượng thần trong miếu trên đồi gần thành mình ở. Các miếu này đã được người Ít-ra-ên xây cất trước kia.
30 and human Babylon to make [obj] Succoth-benoth Succoth-benoth and human Cuthah to make [obj] Nergal and human Hamath to make [obj] Ashima
Người Ba-by-lôn thờ thần Su-cốt Bê-nốt; người Cúc thờ Nẹt-ganh; người Ha-mát thờ A-si-ma;
31 and [the] Avvite to make Nibhaz and [obj] Tartak and [the] Sepharvaim to burn [obj] son: child their in/on/with fire to/for Adrammelech and Anammelech (God Sepharvaim *Q(K)*)
người A-va thờ Nếp-hát và Tạt-tác; người Sê-phạt-va-im thiêu con tế thần A-tra-mê-léc và A-na-mê-léc.
32 and to be afraid [obj] LORD and to make to/for them from end their priest high place and to be to make: offer to/for them in/on/with house: home [the] high place
Tuy kính sợ Chúa Hằng Hữu, họ vẫn chỉ định người của mình làm chức tế lễ tại các miếu trên đồi để dâng lễ vật cho thần mình.
33 [obj] LORD to be afraid and [obj] God their to be to serve: minister like/as justice: custom [the] nation which to reveal: remove [obj] them from there
Như thế, họ vừa kính sợ Chúa, vừa thờ thần mình theo nghi thức cúng thờ của dân tộc mình.
34 till [the] day: today [the] this they(masc.) to make: do like/as justice: custom [the] first: previous nothing they afraid [obj] LORD and nothing they to make: do like/as statute their and like/as justice: judgement their and like/as instruction and like/as commandment which to command LORD [obj] son: descendant/people Jacob which to set: name name his Israel
Cho đến nay họ vẫn theo nghi thức cũ chứ không thật sự thờ phụng Chúa Hằng Hữu vì họ không theo đúng chỉ thị, luật lệ, điều răn của Chúa truyền cho con cháu Gia-cốp, người được Ngài đổi tên là Ít-ra-ên.
35 and to cut: make(covenant) LORD with them covenant and to command them to/for to say not to fear God another and not to bow to/for them and not to serve: minister them and not to sacrifice to/for them
Chúa Hằng Hữu đã kết ước với Ít-ra-ên, theo đó họ không được thờ phụng, phục vụ, cúng tế các thần khác,
36 that if: except if: except [obj] LORD which to ascend: establish [obj] you from land: country/planet Egypt in/on/with strength great: large and in/on/with arm to stretch [obj] him to fear and to/for him to bow and to/for him to sacrifice
Nhưng chỉ phụng sự thờ lạy và dâng lễ vật lên Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đấng đã đem họ ra khỏi Ai Cập với quyền năng và phép lạ.
37 and [obj] [the] statute: decree and [obj] [the] justice: judgement and [the] instruction and [the] commandment which to write to/for you to keep: careful [emph?] to/for to make: do all [the] day: always and not to fear God another
Họ phải tuân giữ điều răn, luật lệ, và quy tắc của chính Ngài truyền cho. Họ không được thờ thần khác.
38 and [the] covenant which to cut: make(covenant) with you not to forget and not to fear God another
Chúa Hằng Hữu đã cảnh cáo họ không được quên lãng giao ước này, không được thờ thần nào khác.
39 that if: except if: except [obj] LORD God your to fear and he/she/it to rescue [obj] you from hand: power all enemy your
Họ chỉ thờ một mình Chúa Hằng Hữu là Chân Thần mình. Chỉ như thế, họ mới được Chúa cứu khỏi quyền lực kẻ thù.
40 and not to hear: hear that if: except if: except like/as justice: custom their [the] first: previous they(masc.) to make: do
Nhưng những người ấy không nghe, cứ thờ lạy theo lối cũ.
41 and to be [the] nation [the] these afraid [obj] LORD and [obj] idol their to be to serve: minister also son: child their and son: child son: child their like/as as which to make: do father their they(masc.) to make: do till [the] day: today [the] this
Họ kính sợ Chúa Hằng Hữu, đồng thời cũng thờ thần tượng mình. Và cứ thế, đến nay con cháu họ vẫn theo đường lối ấy.
