2 Kings 12
1 in/on/with year seven to/for Jehu to reign Jehoash and forty year to reign in/on/with Jerusalem and name mother his Zibiah from Beersheba Beersheba
Anno septimo Iehu regnavit Ioas: et quadraginta annis regnavit in Ierusalem. nomen matris eius Sebia de Bersabee.

Verumtamen excelsa non abstulit: adhuc enim populus immolabat, et adolebat in excelsis incensum.
4 and to say Jehoash to(wards) [the] priest all silver: money [the] holiness which to come (in): bring house: temple LORD silver: money to pass man: anyone silver: money soul: person valuation his all silver: money which to ascend: rise upon heart man to/for to come (in): bring house: temple LORD
Dixitque Ioas ad sacerdotes: Omnem pecuniam sanctorum, quae illata fuerit in templum Domini a praetereuntibus, quae offertur pro pretio animae, et quam sponte et arbitrio cordis sui inferunt in templum Domini:

accipiant illam sacerdotes iuxta ordinem suum, et instaurent sartatecta domus, siquid necessarium viderint instauratione.

Igitur usque ad vigesimum tertium annum regis Ioas, non instauraverunt sacerdotes sartatecta templi.

Vocavitque rex Ioas Ioiadam pontificem et sacerdotes, dicens eis: Quare sartatecta non instauratis templi? nolite ergo amplius accipere pecuniam iuxta ordinem vestrum, sed ad instaurationem templi reddite eam.

Prohibitique sunt sacerdotes ultra accipere pecuniam a populo, et instaurare sartatecta domus.

Et tulit Ioiada pontifex gazophylacium unum, aperuitque foramen desuper, et posuit illud iuxta altare ad dexteram ingredientium domum Domini, mittebantque in eo sacerdotes, qui custodiebant ostia, omnem pecuniam, quae deferebatur ad templum Domini.

Cumque viderent nimiam pecuniam esse in gazophylacio, ascendebat scriba regis, et pontifex, effundebantque et numerabant pecuniam, quae inveniebatur in domo Domini:

et dabant eam iuxta numerum atque mensuram in manu eorum, qui praeerant caementariis domus Domini: qui impendebant eam in fabris lignorum, et in caementariis iis, qui operabantur in domo Domini,
12 and to/for to wall up/off and to/for to hew [the] stone and to/for to buy tree: wood and stone hewing to/for to strengthen: strengthen [obj] breach house: temple LORD and to/for all which to come out: issue upon [the] house: home to/for to strengthen: strengthen
et sartatecta faciebant: et in iis, qui caedebant saxa, et ut emerent ligna, et lapides, qui excidebantur, ita ut impleretur instauratio domus Domini in universis, quae indigebant expensa ad muniendam domum.

Verumtamen non fiebant ex eadem pecunia hydriae templi Domini, et fuscinulae, et thuribula, et tubae, et omne vas aureum et argenteum de pecunia, quae inferebatur in templum Domini.

iis enim, qui faciebant opus, dabatur ut instauraretur templum Domini:

et non fiebat ratio iis hominibus, qui accipiebant pecuniam ut distribuerent eam artificibus, sed in fide tractabant eam.

Pecuniam vero pro delicto, et pecuniam pro peccatis non inferebant in templum Domini, quia sacerdotum erat.
17 then to ascend: rise Hazael king Syria and to fight upon Gath and to capture her and to set: make Hazael face his to/for to ascend: rise upon Jerusalem
Tunc ascendit Hazael rex Syriae, et pugnabat contra Geth, cepitque eam: et direxit faciem suam ut ascenderet in Ierusalem.
18 and to take: take Jehoash king Judah [obj] all [the] holiness which to consecrate: dedicate Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah father his king Judah and [obj] holiness his and [obj] all [the] gold [the] to find in/on/with treasure house: temple LORD and house: home [the] king and to send: depart to/for Hazael king Syria and to ascend: rise from upon Jerusalem
Quam ob rem tulit Ioas rex Iuda omnia sanctificata, quae consecraverant Iosaphat, et Ioram, et Ochozias patres eius reges Iuda, et quae ipse obtulerat: et universum argentum, quod inveniri potuit in thesauris templi Domini, et in palatio regis: misitque Hazaeli regi Syriae, et recessit ab Ierusalem.
