2 Kings 12
1 in/on/with year seven to/for Jehu to reign Jehoash and forty year to reign in/on/with Jerusalem and name mother his Zibiah from Beersheba Beersheba
Joas monta sur le trône la septième année du règne de Jéhu; il régna quarante ans à Jérusalem; le nom de sa mère était Sabia de Bersabée.

Et Joas fit ce qui était droit devant le Seigneur tant que le prêtre Joïada vécut pour l'éclairer.

Seulement, aucun des autels des hauts lieux ne fut déplacé; le peuple y fit encore des sacrifices et y brûla de l'encens.
4 and to say Jehoash to(wards) [the] priest all silver: money [the] holiness which to come (in): bring house: temple LORD silver: money to pass man: anyone silver: money soul: person valuation his all silver: money which to ascend: rise upon heart man to/for to come (in): bring house: temple LORD
Or, Joas dit aux prêtres: Que les prêtres prennent tout l'argent des choses saintes, entrant dans le temple du Seigneur, et provenant soit des évaluations, soit des dons que chacun fait au gré de son cœur.
5 to take: take to/for them [the] priest man: anyone from with acquaintance his and they(masc.) to strengthen: strengthen [obj] breach [the] house: home to/for all which to find there breach
Que les prêtres le prennent, chacun selon son rang, et qu'ils l'emploient aux réparations du temple partout où ils en trouveront à faire.
6 and to be in/on/with year twenty and three year to/for king Jehoash not to strengthen: strengthen [the] priest [obj] breach [the] house: home
En la vingt-troisième année du règne de Joas, le temple n'était pas encore entièrement réparé.
7 and to call: call to [the] king Jehoash to/for Jehoiada [the] priest and to/for priest and to say to(wards) them why? nothing you to strengthen: strengthen [obj] breach [the] house: home and now not to take: take silver: money from with acquaintance your for to/for breach [the] house: home to give: give him
Alors, le roi Joas fit venir le prêtre Joïada et les autres prêtres, et il leur dit: Pourquoi le temple n'est-il pas réparé? Désormais, ne prenez plus d'argent selon votre rang; donnez-le pour réparer le temple.
8 and to consent [the] priest to/for lest to take: take silver: money from with [the] people and to/for lest to strengthen: strengthen [obj] breach [the] house: home
Et les prêtres consentirent à ne plus recevoir d'argent du peuple, pourvu qu'ils ne fussent plus chargés des réparations du temple.
9 and to take: take Jehoiada [the] priest ark one and to pierce hole in/on/with door his and to give: put [obj] him beside [the] altar (from right *Q(K)*) in/on/with to come (in): come man: anyone house: temple LORD and to give: put there [to] [the] priest to keep: guard [the] threshold [obj] all [the] silver: money [the] to come (in): bring house: temple LORD
Et Joad le prêtre prit une cassette; il en troua le couvercle, et il le mit près de l'autel, en la demeure d'un homme appartenant au temple du Seigneur. Puis, les prêtres, gardiens de la porte, y versèrent tout l'argent trouvé dans la maison du Seigneur.
10 and to be like/as to see: see they for many [the] silver: money in/on/with ark and to ascend: rise secretary [the] king and [the] priest [the] great: large and to confine and to count [obj] [the] silver: money [the] to find house: temple LORD
Lorsqu'ils virent qu'il y avait beaucoup d'argent dans la cassette, le scribe du roi et le grand prêtre lièrent et comptèrent l'argent trouvé dans le temple du Seigneur.
11 and to give: give [obj] [the] silver: money [the] to measure upon (hand *Q(K)*) to make: [do] [the] work ([the] to reckon: overseer *Q(K)*) house: temple LORD and to come out: send him to/for artificer [the] tree: carpenter and to/for to build [the] to make: do house: temple LORD
Puis, il remirent l'argent qu'on avait recueilli entre les mains de ceux qui exécutaient les travaux signalés par les surveillants du temple du Seigneur; ils en donnèrent aussi aux charpentiers et aux constructeurs employés au temple,
12 and to/for to wall up/off and to/for to hew [the] stone and to/for to buy tree: wood and stone hewing to/for to strengthen: strengthen [obj] breach house: temple LORD and to/for all which to come out: issue upon [the] house: home to/for to strengthen: strengthen
Ainsi qu'aux maçons et aux tailleurs de pierre, afin qu'ils achetassent des bois et des pierres de taille pour consolider le temple, jusqu'à ce que l'on eût dépensé tout ce que l'on avait reçu, pour les réparations du temple.
13 surely not to make house: temple LORD basin silver: money snuffer bowl trumpet all article/utensil gold and article/utensil silver: money from [the] silver: money [the] to come (in): bring house: temple LORD
Mais on ne devait rien prendre de l'argent offert dans le temple du Seigneur, pour fabriquer les portes d'argent, les clous, les fioles, les trompettes, les vases d'or et les vases d'argent;
14 for to/for to make: [do] [the] work to give: give him and to strengthen: strengthen in/on/with him [obj] house: temple LORD
Parce qu'on devait le donner à ceux qui faisaient les réparations; et ceux-ci l'employèrent à consolider le temple du Seigneur.
15 and not to devise: count with [the] human which to give: give [obj] [the] silver: money upon hand their to/for to give: pay to/for to make: do [the] work for in/on/with faithfulness they(masc.) to make: do
Et l'on ne demanda pas de comptes aux hommes à qui l'argent fut donné, pour qu'ils le remissent aux ouvriers chargés des travaux, parce que les réparations furent exécutées de bonne foi.
16 silver: money guilt (offering) and silver: money sin: sin offering not to come (in): bring house: temple LORD to/for priest to be
L'argent dû pour les péchés, l'argent dû pour les omissions, tout ce qu'on apporta dans le temple alla aux prêtres.
17 then to ascend: rise Hazael king Syria and to fight upon Gath and to capture her and to set: make Hazael face his to/for to ascend: rise upon Jerusalem
En ce temps-là, Azaël, roi de Syrie, sortit pour combattre Geth, et il s'en empara; puis, il se retourna pour marcher sur Jérusalem.
18 and to take: take Jehoash king Judah [obj] all [the] holiness which to consecrate: dedicate Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah father his king Judah and [obj] holiness his and [obj] all [the] gold [the] to find in/on/with treasure house: temple LORD and house: home [the] king and to send: depart to/for Hazael king Syria and to ascend: rise from upon Jerusalem
Mais Joas, roi de Juda, prit toutes les offrandes consacrées par Josaphat, par Joram et par Ochozias, ses pères, rois de Juda; il prit ses propres offrandes et tout l'or qui se trouva, soit dans le temple du Seigneur, soit dans le palais du roi; puis, il envoya tout à Azaël, roi de Syrie; et celui-ci s'éloigna de Jérusalem.

Quant au reste de l'histoire de Joas, n'est-il pas écrit au livre des Faits et gestes des rois de Juda?

Et ses serviteurs se révoltèrent; ils tramèrent un complot, et ils frappèrent Joas en la maison de Mello qui est à Sella.
21 and Jozacar son: child Shimeath and Jehozabad son: child Shomer servant/slave his to smite him and to die and to bury [obj] him with father his in/on/with city David and to reign Amaziah son: child his underneath: instead him
Jézirchar, fils de Jémuath, et Jézébuth, fils de Somer, ses serviteurs, le frappèrent, et il mourut; on l'ensevelit auprès de ses pères en la ville de David; et son fils Amasias régna à sa place.
