2 Kings 10
1 and to/for Ahab seventy son: child in/on/with Samaria and to write Jehu scroll: document and to send: depart Samaria to(wards) ruler Jezreel [the] old: elder and to(wards) [the] be faithful Ahab to/for to say
Or Achab avait 70 fils à Samarie; et Jéhu écrivit des lettres, et les envoya à Samarie aux chefs de Jizreël, aux anciens, et aux gouverneurs des enfants d’Achab, disant:
2 and now (in/on/with to come (in): come *LB(ah)*) [the] scroll: document [the] this to(wards) you and with you son: child lord your and with you [the] chariot and [the] horse and city fortification and [the] weapon
Maintenant, quand cette lettre vous sera parvenue, puisque vous avez avec vous les fils de votre seigneur, et que vous avez les chars et les chevaux, et une ville forte et des armes,
3 and to see: select [the] pleasant and [the] upright from son: child lord your and to set: make upon throne father his and to fight upon house: household lord your
regardez lequel des fils de votre seigneur est le meilleur et le plus apte, et mettez-le sur le trône de son père, et combattez pour la maison de votre seigneur.
4 and to fear much much and to say behold two [the] king not to stand: stand to/for face: before his and how? to stand: stand we
Et ils eurent extrêmement peur, et dirent: Voici, les deux rois n’ont pu tenir devant lui, et nous, comment tiendrions-nous?
5 and to send: depart which upon [the] house: home and which upon [the] city and [the] old: elder and [the] be faithful to(wards) Jehu to/for to say servant/slave your we and all which to say to(wards) us to make: do not to reign man: anyone [the] pleasant in/on/with eye: appearance your to make: do
Et celui qui était préposé sur la maison, et celui qui était préposé sur la ville, et les anciens, et les gouverneurs des enfants, envoyèrent à Jéhu, disant: Nous sommes tes serviteurs, et tout ce que tu nous diras, nous le ferons; nous n’établirons roi personne; fais ce qui est bon à tes yeux.
6 and to write to(wards) them scroll: document second to/for to say if to/for me you(m. p.) and to/for voice: message my you(m. p.) to hear: obey to take: take [obj] head human son: child lord your and to come (in): come to(wards) me like/as time tomorrow Jezreel [to] and son: child [the] king seventy man with great: large [the] city to magnify [obj] them
Et il leur écrivit une lettre pour la seconde fois, disant: Si vous êtes à moi et si vous écoutez ma voix, prenez les têtes des hommes, fils de votre seigneur, et venez vers moi demain à cette heure-ci, à Jizreël. Et les fils du roi, 70 hommes, étaient avec les grands de la ville, qui les élevaient.
7 and to be like/as to come (in): come [the] scroll: document to(wards) them and to take: take [obj] son: child [the] king and to slaughter seventy man and to set: put [obj] head their in/on/with pot and to send: depart to(wards) him Jezreel [to]
Et il arriva que, quand la lettre leur parvint, ils prirent les fils du roi et les égorgèrent, 70 hommes; et ils mirent leurs têtes dans des corbeilles et les lui envoyèrent à Jizreël.
8 and to come (in): come [the] messenger and to tell to/for him to/for to say to come (in): bring head son: child [the] king and to say to set: put [obj] them two heap entrance [the] gate till [the] morning
Et un messager vint, et le lui rapporta, disant: Ils ont apporté les têtes des fils du roi. Et il dit: Mettez-les en deux tas à l’entrée de la porte, jusqu’au matin.
9 and to be in/on/with morning and to come out: come and to stand: stand and to say to(wards) all [the] people righteous you(m. p.) behold I to conspire upon lord my and to kill him and who? to smite [obj] all these
Et il arriva que, le matin, il sortit, et se tint là, et dit à tout le peuple: Vous êtes justes: voici, j’ai conspiré contre mon seigneur et je l’ai tué; mais qui a frappé tous ceux-ci?
10 to know then for not to fall: fall from word LORD land: country/planet [to] which to speak: speak LORD upon house: household Ahab and LORD to make: do [obj] which to speak: speak in/on/with hand: by servant/slave his Elijah
Sachez donc que rien ne tombera en terre de la parole de l’Éternel que l’Éternel a prononcée contre la maison d’Achab; et l’Éternel a fait ce qu’il avait dit par son serviteur Élie.
11 and to smite Jehu [obj] all [the] to remain to/for house: household Ahab in/on/with Jezreel and all great: large his and to know his and priest his till lest to remain to/for him survivor
Et Jéhu frappa tous ceux qui restaient de la maison d’Achab à Jizreël, et tous ses grands, et tous ceux qui étaient de sa connaissance, et ses sacrificateurs, jusqu’à ne pas lui laisser un réchappé.
12 and to arise: rise and to come (in): come and to go: went Samaria he/she/it Beth-eked Beth-eked House of Shepherds in/on/with way: journey
Et il se leva et partit, et s’en alla à Samarie. Et comme il était près de la cabane des bergers sur le chemin,
13 and Jehu to find [obj] brother: male-relative Ahaziah king Judah and to say who? you(m. p.) and to say brother: male-relative Ahaziah we and to go down to/for peace: greeting son: child [the] king and son: child [the] queen
Jéhu trouva les frères d’Achazia, roi de Juda, et dit: Qui êtes-vous? Et ils dirent: Nous sommes les frères d’Achazia, et nous sommes descendus pour saluer les fils du roi et les fils de la reine.
14 and to say to capture them alive and to capture them alive and to slaughter them to(wards) pit Beth-eked Beth-eked forty and two man and not to remain man: anyone from them
Et il dit: Saisissez-les vivants. Et ils les saisirent vivants, et les égorgèrent, 42 hommes, près du puits de la cabane, et il n’en laissa pas un seul de reste.
15 and to go: went from there and to find [obj] Jonadab son: child Rechab to/for to encounter: meet him and to bless him and to say to(wards) him there with heart your upright like/as as which heart my with heart your and to say Jonadab there and there to give: give [emph?] [obj] hand your and to give: give hand his and to ascend: rise him to(wards) him to(wards) [the] chariot
Et il s’en alla de là, et trouva Jonadab, fils de Récab, qui venait à sa rencontre; et il le salua, et lui dit: Ton cœur est-il droit comme mon cœur l’est à l’égard de ton cœur? Et Jonadab dit: Il l’est. – S’il l’est, donne-moi ta main. – Et il lui donna sa main, et [Jéhu] le fit monter auprès de lui dans le char,
16 and to say to go: come [emph?] with me and to see: see in/on/with jealousy my to/for LORD and to ride [obj] him in/on/with chariot his
et dit: Viens avec moi, et vois mon zèle pour l’Éternel. Et on le mena dans le char de Jéhu.
17 and to come (in): come Samaria and to smite [obj] all [the] to remain to/for Ahab in/on/with Samaria till to destroy him like/as word LORD which to speak: speak to(wards) Elijah
Et [Jéhu] arriva à Samarie; et il frappa tous ceux qui restaient d’Achab à Samarie, jusqu’à ce qu’il l’ait détruit, selon la parole de l’Éternel qu’il avait dite à Élie.
18 and to gather Jehu [obj] all [the] people and to say to(wards) them Ahab to serve: minister [obj] [the] Baal little Jehu to serve: minister him to multiply
Et Jéhu assembla tout le peuple, et leur dit: Achab a servi Baal un peu; Jéhu le servira beaucoup.
19 and now all prophet [the] Baal all to serve: minister him and all priest his to call: call to to(wards) me man: anyone not to reckon: missing for sacrifice great: large to/for me to/for Baal all which to reckon: missing not to live and Jehu to make: do in/on/with cunning because to perish [obj] to serve: minister [the] Baal
Et maintenant, appelez vers moi tous les prophètes de Baal, tous ses serviteurs et tous ses sacrificateurs; que pas un ne manque, car j’ai [à offrir] un grand sacrifice à Baal. Quiconque manquera ne vivra point. Et Jéhu agissait avec ruse, afin de faire périr les serviteurs de Baal.
20 and to say Jehu to consecrate: consecate assembly to/for Baal and to call: call out
Et Jéhu dit: Sanctifiez une fête solennelle à Baal. Et ils la publièrent.
21 and to send: depart Jehu in/on/with all Israel and to come (in): come all to serve: minister [the] Baal and not to remain man: anyone which not to come (in): come and to come (in): come house: home [the] Baal and to fill house: home [the] Baal lip: edge to/for lip: edge
Et Jéhu envoya par tout Israël; et tous les serviteurs de Baal vinrent: et il n’en resta pas un qui ne vienne; et ils entrèrent dans la maison de Baal, et la maison de Baal fut remplie d’un bout à l’autre.
22 and to say to/for which upon [the] apparel to come out: send clothing to/for all to serve: minister [the] Baal and to come out: send to/for them [the] garment
Et il dit à celui qui était [préposé] sur le vestiaire: Sors des vêtements pour tous les serviteurs de Baal. Et il leur sortit des vêtements.
23 and to come (in): come Jehu and Jonadab son: child Rechab house: home [the] Baal and to say to/for to serve: minister [the] Baal to search and to see: see lest there here with you from servant/slave LORD that if: except if: except to serve: minister [the] Baal to/for alone them
Et Jéhu et Jonadab, fils de Récab, entrèrent dans la maison de Baal, et [Jéhu] dit aux serviteurs de Baal: Examinez et voyez, afin qu’il n’y ait pas ici avec vous quelqu’un des serviteurs de l’Éternel, mais seulement des serviteurs de Baal.
24 and to come (in): come to/for to make: offer sacrifice and burnt offering and Jehu to set: put to/for him in/on/with outside eighty man and to say [the] man which to escape from [the] human which I to come (in): come upon hand: power your soul: life his underneath: instead soul: life his
Et ils entrèrent pour offrir des sacrifices et des holocaustes. Et Jéhu plaça par-dehors 80 hommes, et il [leur] dit: Celui qui laissera échapper [un seul] d’entre les hommes que j’ai mis entre vos mains, sa vie sera pour la vie de cet homme.
25 and to be like/as to end: finish he to/for to make: offer [the] burnt offering and to say Jehu to/for to run: guard and to/for officer to come (in): come to smite them man: anyone not to come out: come and to smite them to/for lip: edge sword and to throw [the] to run: guard and [the] officer and to go: went till city house: home [the] Baal
Et il arriva que, quand on eut achevé d’offrir l’holocauste, Jéhu dit aux coureurs et aux capitaines: Entrez, frappez-les; que pas un ne sorte. Et ils les frappèrent par le tranchant de l’épée. Et les coureurs et les capitaines les jetèrent là; et ils s’en allèrent jusqu’à la ville de la maison de Baal,
26 and to come out: send [obj] pillar house: home [the] Baal and to burn her
et tirèrent les stèles hors de la maison de Baal, et les brûlèrent;
27 and to tear [obj] pillar [the] Baal and to tear [obj] house: home [the] Baal and to set: make him (to/for going forth *Q(K)*) till [the] day: today
et ils abattirent la stèle de Baal, et ils abattirent la maison de Baal, et en firent des cloaques, jusqu’à ce jour.
28 and to destroy Jehu [obj] [the] Baal from Israel
Ainsi Jéhu extermina Baal du milieu d’Israël.
29 except sin Jeroboam son: child Nebat which to sin [obj] Israel not to turn aside: turn aside Jehu from after them calf [the] gold which Bethel Bethel and which in/on/with Dan
Seulement, quant aux péchés de Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, par lesquels il avait fait pécher Israël – [savoir] les veaux d’or qui étaient à Béthel et à Dan – Jéhu ne s’en détourna pas.
30 and to say LORD to(wards) Jehu because which be pleasing to/for to make: do [the] upright in/on/with eye: appearance my like/as all which in/on/with heart my to make: do to/for house: household Ahab son: descendant/people fourth to dwell to/for you upon throne Israel
Et l’Éternel dit à Jéhu: Parce que tu as bien exécuté ce qui était droit à mes yeux, [et] que tu as fait à la maison d’Achab selon tout ce qui était dans mon cœur, tes fils, jusqu’à la quatrième génération, seront assis sur le trône d’Israël.
31 and Jehu not to keep: careful to/for to go: walk in/on/with instruction LORD God Israel in/on/with all heart his not to turn aside: turn aside from upon sin Jeroboam which to sin [obj] Israel
Mais Jéhu ne prit pas garde à marcher de tout son cœur dans la loi de l’Éternel, le Dieu d’Israël; il ne se détourna pas des péchés de Jéroboam, par lesquels il avait fait pécher Israël.
32 in/on/with day [the] they(masc.) to profane/begin: begin LORD to/for to cut off in/on/with Israel and to smite them Hazael in/on/with all border: area Israel
En ces jours-là, l’Éternel commença à entamer Israël; et Hazaël les frappa dans toutes les frontières d’Israël,
33 from [the] Jordan east [the] sun [obj] all land: country/planet [the] Gilead [the] Gad and [the] Reubenite and [the] Manassite from Aroer which upon torrent: valley Arnon and [the] Gilead and [the] Bashan
depuis le Jourdain, vers le soleil levant, tout le pays de Galaad, les Gadites, et les Rubénites, et les Manassites, depuis Aroër qui est sur le torrent de l’Arnon, et Galaad, et Basan.
34 and remainder word: deed Jehu and all which to make: do and all might his not they(masc.) to write upon scroll: book Chronicles [the] day to/for king Israel
Et le reste des actes de Jéhu, et tout ce qu’il fit, et toute sa puissance, cela n’est-il pas écrit dans le livre des chroniques des rois d’Israël?
35 and to lie down: be dead Jehu with father his and to bury [obj] him in/on/with Samaria and to reign Jehoahaz son: child his underneath: instead him
Et Jéhu s’endormit avec ses pères, et on l’enterra à Samarie; et Joakhaz, son fils, régna à sa place.
36 and [the] day which to reign Jehu upon Israel twenty and eight year in/on/with Samaria
Et les jours que Jéhu régna sur Israël à Samarie furent 28 ans.
