১যেতিয়া চলোমনৰ প্ৰাৰ্থনা শেষ হ’ল, তেতিয়া আকাশৰ পৰা অগ্নি নামি আহি হোম-বলি আৰু আন বলিসমূহ গ্ৰাস কৰিলে আৰু যিহোৱাৰ প্ৰতাপেৰে সেই গৃহ পৰিপূৰ্ণ হ’ল।

২তেতিয়া পুৰোহিতসকলে যিহোৱাৰ গৃহত প্ৰৱেশ কৰিব নোৱাৰিলে; কিয়নো যিহোৱাৰ প্ৰতাপেৰে তেওঁৰ গৃহ পৰিপূৰ্ণ হৈ আছিল।

১৩মই যদি আকাশ এনেকৈ বন্ধ কৰোঁ, যে, বৰষুণ নহ’ব বা দেশ গ্ৰাস কৰিবলৈ কাকতি ফৰিঙক আজ্ঞা কৰোঁ বা নিজ প্ৰজাসকলৰ মাজলৈ মহামাৰী পঠাওঁ,

১৪তেনেহ’লে মোৰ নামেৰে প্ৰখ্যাত হোৱা মোৰ প্ৰজাসকলে যদি নিজকে নম্ৰ কৰি প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰে আৰু মোৰ সাক্ষাৎ হবলৈ বিচাৰে বা নিজ নিজ কু-পথৰ পৰা ঘূৰে, তেনেহ’লে মই স্বৰ্গৰ পৰা শুনি তেওঁলোকৰ পাপবোৰ ক্ষমা কৰিম আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ দেশ আৰোগ্য কৰিম।

২০তেনেহ’লে, মই তেওঁলোকক দিয়া দেশৰ পৰা উচ্ছন্ন কৰিম; আৰু নিজ নামৰ কাৰণে মই পবিত্ৰ কৰা এই গৃহকো মোৰ দৃষ্টিৰ পৰা দূৰ কৰিম আৰু সকলো জাতিৰ মাজত তাক দৃষ্টান্ত আৰু বিদ্ৰূপৰ বিষয় কৰিম।

২২তেতিয়া আন আন লোকসকলে উত্তৰ দি ক’ব, ‘এওঁলোকৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলে মিচৰ দেশৰ পৰা বাহিৰ কৰি অনা নিজৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাক এওঁলোকে ত্যাগ কৰিলে আৰু ইতৰ দেবতাবোৰত আসক্ত হৈ সেইবোৰৰ আগত প্ৰণিপাত কৰিলে আৰু সেইবোৰক সেৱাপূজাও কৰিলে৷ এই কাৰণে যিহোৱাই এওঁলোকৰ ওপৰত এই আটাই অমঙ্গল ঘটালে’৷”
