2 Chronicles 27
1 son: aged twenty and five year Jotham in/on/with to reign he and six ten year to reign in/on/with Jerusalem and name mother his Jerusha daughter Zadok
Jotham était âgé de vingt-cinq ans à son avènement et il régna seize ans à Jérusalem. Le nom de sa mère était Yeroucha, fille de Çadok.

Il fit ce qui est droit aux yeux du Seigneur, agissant en tout comme avait agi Ouzzia, son père. Toutefois, il ne fréquenta pas les sanctuaires de l’Eternel, et le peuple persévéra dans ses crimes.

Ce fut lui qui bâtit la porte supérieure de la maison de l’Eternel, et il travailla beaucoup à l’édification du mur de l’Ophel.

Il bâtit aussi des villes sur les montagnes de Juda, et sur les collines boisées il bâtit des forteresses et des tours.
5 and he/she/it to fight with king son: descendant/people Ammon and to strengthen: prevail over upon them and to give: give to/for him son: descendant/people Ammon in/on/with year [the] he/she/it hundred talent silver: money and ten thousand kor wheat and barley ten thousand this to return: pay to/for him son: descendant/people (Ammon *LBH(a)*) and in/on/with year [the] second and [the] third
Il fit aussi la guerre au roi des Ammonites et triompha d’eux; les Ammonites lui remirent cette année-là cent kikkar d’argent, dix mille kôr de froment et dix mille kôr d’orge, et ils lui en remirent autant la deuxième et la troisième année.

Jotham devint puissant, car il se conduisait bien devant l’Eternel, son Dieu.
