2 Chronicles 23
1 and in/on/with year [the] seventh to strengthen: strengthen Jehoiada and to take: take [obj] ruler [the] hundred to/for Azariah son: child Jeroham and to/for Ishmael son: child Jehohanan and to/for Azariah son: child Obed and [obj] Maaseiah son: child Adaiah and [obj] Elishaphat son: child Zichri with him in/on/with covenant
Or, en la septième année, Joïada, plein d’un nouveau courage, prit les centurions; à savoir, Azarias fils de Jéroham, Ismahël fils de Johanan, Azarias fils d’Obed, Maasias fils d’Adaïas, et Elisaphat fils de Zéchri, et fit alliance avec eux;
2 and to turn: turn in/on/with Judah and to gather [obj] [the] Levi from all city Judah and head: leader [the] father to/for Israel and to come (in): come to(wards) Jerusalem
Lesquels, parcourant la Judée, assemblèrent les Lévites de toutes les villes de Juda et les princes des familles d’Israël, puis ils vinrent à Jérusalem.
3 and to cut: make(covenant) all [the] assembly covenant in/on/with house: temple [the] God with [the] king and to say to/for them behold son: descendant/people [the] king to reign like/as as which to speak: speak LORD upon son: descendant/people David
Toute cette multitude fit donc un traité dans la maison de Dieu avec le roi, et Joïada leur dit: Voilà que le fils du roi régnera, comme l’a dit le Seigneur touchant les fils de David.
4 this [the] word: thing which to make: do [the] third from you to come (in): come [the] Sabbath to/for priest and to/for Levi to/for gatekeeper [the] threshold
Voici donc ce que vous ferez:
5 and [the] third in/on/with house: home [the] king and [the] third in/on/with gate [the] (Gate of the) Foundation and all [the] people in/on/with court house: temple LORD
Une troisième partie de vous, prêtres, Lévites et portiers, qui venez pour le jour du sabbat, sera aux portes; mais une troisième partie auprès du palais du roi, et une troisième à la porte qui est appelée du Fondement; quant à tout le reste du peuple, qu’il soit dans les parvis de la maison du Seigneur.
6 and not to come (in): come house: temple LORD that if: except if: except [the] priest and [the] to minister to/for Levi they(masc.) to come (in): come for holiness they(masc.) and all [the] people to keep: obey charge LORD
Que personne n’entre dans la maison du Seigneur, si ce n’est les prêtres et ceux qui font le service d’entre les Lévites: que ceux-là seulement entrent, parce qu’ils sont sanctifiés; et que tout le reste du peuple observe les veilles du Seigneur.
7 and to surround [the] Levi [obj] [the] king around man: anyone and article/utensil his in/on/with hand his and [the] to come (in): come to(wards) [the] house: home to die and to be with [the] king in/on/with to come (in): come he and in/on/with to come out: come he
Mais que les Lévites entourent le roi, ayant chacun leurs armes (et si quelque autre entre dans le temple, qu’il soit tué), et qu’ils soient avec le roi, lorsqu’il entrera, et qu’il sortira.
8 and to make: do [the] Levi and all Judah like/as all which to command Jehoiada [the] priest and to take: bring man: anyone [obj] human his to come (in): come [the] Sabbath with to come out: come [the] Sabbath for not to separate Jehoiada [the] priest [obj] [the] division
Les Lévites donc et tout Juda firent selon tout ce que leur avait ordonné Joïada, le pontife; et ils prirent chacun les hommes qui étaient sous eux, et qui venaient, selon l’ordre du sabbat, avec ceux qui avaient accompli le sabbat, et qui devaient sortir; attendu que Joïada, le pontife, n’avait pas laissé aller les bandes qui, à chaque semaine, avaient coutume de se succéder.
9 and to give: give Jehoiada [the] priest to/for ruler [the] hundred [obj] [the] spear and [obj] [the] shield and [obj] [the] shield which to/for king David which house: temple [the] God
Et Joïada, le prêtre, donna aux centurions les lances, les boucliers et les peltes du roi David, qu’il avait consacrés dans la maison du Seigneur.
10 and to stand: appoint [obj] all [the] people and man: anyone missile his in/on/with hand his from shoulder [the] house: home [the] right: south till shoulder [the] house: home [the] left: north to/for altar and to/for house: home upon [the] king around
Et il plaça toute la multitude de ceux qui tenaient des sabres depuis le côté droit du temple jusqu’au côté gauche du temple, devant l’autel et le temple, autour du roi.
11 and to come out: send [obj] son: child [the] king and to give: put upon him [obj] [the] consecration: crown and [obj] [the] testimony and to reign [obj] him and to anoint him Jehoiada and son: child his and to say to live [the] king
Ensuite, ils amenèrent le fils du roi, et ils mirent sur lui le diadème et le témoignage; c’est-à-dire ils mirent en sa main la loi pour qu’il la tînt, et l’établirent roi: de plus, Joïada, le pontife, et ses fils l’oignirent, lui souhaitèrent du bien et dirent: Vive le roi!
12 and to hear: hear Athaliah [obj] voice: sound [the] people [the] to run: run and [the] to boast: praise [obj] [the] king and to come (in): come to(wards) [the] people house: temple LORD
Lorsque Athalie eut entendu cela; savoir, la voix de ceux qui accouraient et louaient le roi, elle entra vers le peuple dans le temple du Seigneur.
13 and to see: see and behold [the] king to stand: stand upon pillar his in/on/with entrance and [the] ruler and [the] trumpet upon [the] king and all people [the] land: country/planet glad and to blow in/on/with trumpet and [the] to sing in/on/with article/utensil [the] song and to know to/for to boast: praise and to tear Athaliah [obj] garment her and to say conspiracy conspiracy
Et, lorsqu’elle eut vu le roi qui était sur son estrade, à l’entrée, les princes, les troupes autour de lui, tout le peuple de la terre se réjouissant, sonnant des trompettes et faisant retentir des instruments de divers genre, et qu’elle eut entendu la voix de ceux qui louaient le roi, elle déchira ses vêtements, et dit: Trahison! trahison!
14 and to come out: send Jehoiada [the] priest [obj] ruler [the] hundred to reckon: overseer [the] strength: soldiers and to say to(wards) them to come out: send her to(wards) from house: home [the] rank and [the] to come (in): come after her to die in/on/with sword for to say [the] priest not to die her house: temple LORD
Or le pontife Joïada, étant sorti vers les centurions et les princes de l’armée, leur dit: Emmenez-la hors de l’enceinte du temple, et qu’elle soit tuée dehors par le glaive. Et le prêtre ordonna qu’elle ne fût pas tuée dans la maison du Seigneur.
15 and to set: put to/for her hand and to come (in): come to(wards) entrance gate [the] horse house: home [the] king and to die her there
Ils mirent donc leurs mains sur son cou; et lorsqu’elle fut entrée dans la porte des chevaux de la maison du roi, ils la tuèrent là.
16 and to cut: make(covenant) Jehoiada covenant between him and between all [the] people and between [the] king to/for to be to/for people to/for LORD
Or Joïada fit une alliance entre lui, tout le peuple et le roi, afin qu’ils fussent le peuple du Seigneur.
17 and to come (in): come all [the] people house: home [the] Baal and to tear him and [obj] altar his and [obj] image his to break and [obj] Mattan priest [the] Baal to kill to/for face: before [the] altar
C’est pourquoi tout le peuple entra dans la maison de Baal, et ils la détruisirent; ils brisèrent aussi ses autels et ses simulacres: et Mathan lui-même, le prêtre de Baal, ils le tuèrent devant l’autel.
18 and to set: put Jehoiada punishment house: temple LORD in/on/with hand: power [the] priest [the] Levi which to divide David upon house: temple LORD to/for to ascend: offer up burnt offering LORD like/as to write in/on/with instruction Moses in/on/with joy and in/on/with song upon hand: power David
Joïada établit aussi des préposés dans la maison de Seigneur, sous la main des prêtres et des Lévites, que David distribua dans la maison du Seigneur, afin que l’on offrît des holocaustes au Seigneur, comme il est écrit dans la loi de Moïse, avec joie et avec des cantiques, selon les prescriptions de David.
19 and to stand: stand [the] gatekeeper upon gate house: temple LORD and not to come (in): come unclean to/for all word: thing
Et il établit encore les portiers aux portes de la maison du Seigneur, afin qu’il n’y entrât personne d’impur en quoi que ce fût.
20 and to take: take [obj] ruler [the] hundred and [obj] [the] great and [obj] [the] to rule in/on/with people and [obj] all people [the] land: country/planet and to go down [obj] [the] king from house: temple LORD and to come (in): come in/on/with midst gate [the] high house: home [the] king and to dwell [obj] [the] king upon throne [the] kingdom
Et il prit les centurions, les hommes les plus braves, les princes du peuple, et tout le bas peuple du pays; et ils firent descendre le roi de la maison du Seigneur, puis entrer par la porte supérieure dans la maison du roi; et ils le placèrent sur le trône royal.
21 and to rejoice all people [the] land: country/planet and [the] city to quiet and [obj] Athaliah to die in/on/with sword
Alors tout le peuple du pays se réjouit, et la ville se reposa: or Athalie fut tuée par le glaive.
