2 Chronicles 21
1 and to lie down: be dead Jehoshaphat with father his and to bury with father his in/on/with city David and to reign Jehoram son: child his underneath: instead him
Et Josaphat s'endormit avec ses pères; et il fut enseveli dans la ville de David, et Joram, son fils, régna à sa place.
2 and to/for him brother: male-sibling son: child Jehoshaphat Azariah and Jehiel and Zechariah and Azariah and Michael and Shephatiah all these son: child Jehoshaphat king Israel
Il avait six frères nés de Josaphat: Azarias, Jehiel, Zacharie, Azarias, Michel et Zaphatias. Tels furent les fils de Josaphat, roi de Juda.
3 and to give: give to/for them father their gift many to/for silver: money and to/for gold and to/for precious thing with city fortress in/on/with Judah and [obj] [the] kingdom to give: give to/for Jehoram for he/she/it [the] firstborn
Leur père les avait richement dotés d'argent, d'or et d'armes avec des places fortes en Juda; mais il laissa le royaume à Joram, parce qu'il était le premier-né.
4 and to arise: rise Jehoram upon kingdom father his and to strengthen: strengthen and to kill [obj] all brother: male-sibling his in/on/with sword and also from ruler Israel
Et Joram se mit en marche dans son royaume, et il s'affermit, et il fit périr par le glaive tous ses frères avec quelques-uns des chefs d'Israël.
5 son: aged thirty and two year Jehoram in/on/with to reign he and eight year to reign in/on/with Jerusalem
Il avait trente-deux ans quand il monta sur le trône, et il régna huit ans à Jérusalem.

Et il marcha dans la voie du roi d'Israël, comme avait fait la maison d'Achab, parce que sa femme était fille d'Achab, et il fit le mal devant le Seigneur.
7 and not be willing LORD to/for to ruin [obj] house: household David because [the] covenant which to cut: make(covenant) to/for David and like/as as which to say to/for to give: give to/for him lamp and to/for son: descendant/people his all [the] day: always
Toutefois, le Seigneur ne voulait pas détruire la maison de David, à cause de l'alliance qu'il avait faite avec lui, et parce qu'il avait promis de donner, à lui et à ses fils, un flambeau qui ne s'éteindrait jamais.
8 in/on/with day his to transgress Edom from underneath: owning hand: owner Judah and to reign upon them king
En ces jours-là, Edom se souleva contre Juda, et mit à sa tête un roi.
9 and to pass Jehoram with ruler his and all [the] chariot with him and to be to arise: rise night and to smite [obj] Edom [the] to turn: surround to(wards) him and [obj] ruler [the] chariot
Et Joram partit avec ses chefs et toute sa cavalerie, et il se leva la nuit, et il tailla en pièces Edom qui l'avait enveloppé; les chefs des chars, le peuple, tout s'enfuit chacun en sa demeure.

Or, Edom est resté en révolte contre Juda jusqu'à nos jours. En ce temps- là, Lomna se souleva aussi contre Joram, parce qu'il avait abandonné le Seigneur Dieu de ses pères,

Et qu'il avait bâti des hauts lieux dans les villes de Juda, et entraîné les habitants de Jérusalem à se prostituer, et qu'il avait égaré Juda.
12 and to come (in): come to(wards) him writing from Elijah [the] prophet to/for to say thus to say LORD God David father your underneath: because of which not to go: walk in/on/with way: conduct Jehoshaphat father your and in/on/with way: conduct Asa king Judah
Alors, il lui vint une lettre du prophète Elie, disant: Voici ce que dit le Seigneur Dieu de David, ton aïeul: En punition de ce que tu n'as point marché dans la voie de Josaphat, ton père, ni dans la voie d'Asa, roi de la Judée;

Et de ce que tu as marché dans les voies des rois d'Israël, et de ce que tu as entraîné Juda et les habitants de Jérusalem à se prostituer, comme s'est prostituée la maison d'Achab, et de ce que tu as tué tes frères, fils de ton père, qui valaient mieux que toi,
14 behold LORD to strike plague great: large in/on/with people your and in/on/with son: child your and in/on/with woman: wife your and in/on/with all property your
Voilà que le Seigneur va te frapper d'une grande plaie au milieu de ton peuple, de tes fils, de tes femmes, de toutes tes richesses.
15 and you(m. s.) in/on/with sickness many in/on/with sickness belly your till to come out: issue belly your from [the] sickness day upon day
Tu seras atteint d'une maladie cruelle, d'un mal d'entrailles, et tous tes intestins sortiront de jour en jour par l'effet de cette maladie.
16 and to rouse LORD upon Jehoram [obj] spirit: temper [the] Philistine and [the] Arabian which upon hand: to Ethiopian
Et le Seigneur excita contre Joram les Philistins, les Arabes et les voisins de l'Éthiopie.
17 and to ascend: rise in/on/with Judah and to break up/open her and to take captive [obj] all [the] property [the] to find to/for house: home [the] king and also son: child his and woman: wife his and not to remain to/for him son: child that if: except if: except Ahaziah small: young son: child his
Et ils marchèrent sur Juda, et furent vainqueurs; ils enlevèrent tout ce qu'ils trouvèrent dans le palais du roi, avec ses fils et ses filles; il ne lui resta pas de fils, hormis Ochozias, le plus jeune de tous.
18 and after all this to strike him LORD in/on/with belly his to/for sickness to/for nothing healing
Après cela, le Seigneur le frappa d'un mal d'entrailles incurable;
19 and to be to/for day from day and like/as time to come out: extends [the] end to/for day: year two to come out: come belly his with sickness his and to die in/on/with disease bad: harmful and not to make to/for him people his fire like/as fire father his
Et les jours s'écoulèrent, et après deux ans accomplis, le mal avait fait sortir tous ses intestins, et il mourut dans une angoisse cruelle. Et son peuple ne lui fit point de funérailles comme il en avait fait à Josaphat, son père.

Il était monté sur le trône à trente-deux ans, et il avait régné huit ans à Jérusalem, et il n'avait pas marché d'une manière digne de louange, et il fut enseveli dans la ville de David, mais non dans le sépulcre des rois.
