2 Chronicles 19
1 and to return: return Jehoshaphat king Judah to(wards) house: home his in/on/with peace: well-being to/for Jerusalem
Josaphat, roi de Juda, revint en paix dans sa maison à Jérusalem.
2 and to come out: come to(wards) face: before his Jehu son: child Hanani [the] seer and to say to(wards) [the] king Jehoshaphat to/for wicked to/for to help and to/for to hate LORD to love: lover and in/on/with this upon you wrath from to/for face: before LORD
Jéhu, fils de Hanani, le prophète, alla au-devant de lui. Et il dit au roi Josaphat: Doit-on secourir le méchant, et aimes-tu ceux qui haïssent l’Éternel? A cause de cela, l’Éternel est irrité contre toi.
3 truly word: thing pleasant to find with you for to burn: destroy [the] Asherah from [the] land: country/planet and to establish: establish heart your to/for to seek [the] God
Mais il s’est trouvé de bonnes choses en toi, car tu as fait disparaître du pays les idoles, et tu as appliqué ton cœur à chercher Dieu.
4 and to dwell Jehoshaphat in/on/with Jerusalem and to return: return and to come out: come in/on/with people from Beersheba Beersheba till mountain: hill country Ephraim and to return: repent them to(wards) LORD God father their
Josaphat resta à Jérusalem. Puis il fit encore une tournée parmi le peuple, depuis Beer-Schéba jusqu’à la montagne d’Éphraïm, et il les ramena à l’Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères.
5 and to stand: appoint to judge in/on/with land: country/planet in/on/with all city Judah [the] to gather/restrain/fortify to/for city and city
Il établit des juges dans toutes les villes fortes du pays de Juda, dans chaque ville.
6 and to say to(wards) [the] to judge to see: examine what? you(m. p.) to make: do for not to/for man to judge for to/for LORD and with you in/on/with word: case justice: judgement
Et il dit aux juges: Prenez garde à ce que vous ferez, car ce n’est pas pour les hommes que vous prononcerez des jugements; c’est pour l’Éternel, qui sera près de vous quand vous les prononcerez.
7 and now to be dread LORD upon you to keep: careful and to make: do for nothing with LORD God our injustice and respect face: kindness and taking bribe
Maintenant, que la crainte de l’Éternel soit sur vous; veillez sur vos actes, car il n’y a chez l’Éternel, notre Dieu, ni iniquité, ni égards pour l’apparence des personnes, ni acceptation de présents.
8 and also in/on/with Jerusalem to stand: appoint Jehoshaphat from [the] Levi and [the] priest and from head: leader [the] father to/for Israel to/for justice: judgement LORD and to/for strife and to return: return Jerusalem
Quand on fut de retour à Jérusalem, Josaphat y établit aussi, pour les jugements de l’Éternel et pour les contestations, des Lévites, des sacrificateurs et des chefs de maisons paternelles d’Israël.
9 and to command upon them to/for to say thus to make: do [emph?] in/on/with fear LORD in/on/with faithfulness and in/on/with heart complete
Et voici les ordres qu’il leur donna: Vous agirez de la manière suivante dans la crainte de l’Éternel, avec fidélité et avec intégrité de cœur.
10 and all strife which to come (in): come upon you from brother: compatriot your [the] to dwell in/on/with city their between blood to/for blood between instruction to/for commandment to/for statute: decree and to/for justice: judgement and to warn [obj] them and not be guilty to/for LORD and to be wrath upon you and upon brother: compatriot your thus to make: do [emph?] and not be guilty
Dans toute contestation qui vous sera soumise par vos frères, établis dans leurs villes, relativement à un meurtre, à une loi, à un commandement, à des préceptes et à des ordonnances, vous les éclairerez, afin qu’ils ne se rendent pas coupables envers l’Éternel, et que sa colère n’éclate pas sur vous et sur vos frères. C’est ainsi que vous agirez, et vous ne serez point coupables.
11 and behold Amariah priest [the] head: leader upon you to/for all word: thing LORD and Zebadiah son: child Ishmael [the] leader to/for house: household Judah to/for all word: thing [the] king and official [the] Levi to/for face: before your to strengthen: strengthen and to make: do and to be LORD with [the] pleasant
Et voici, vous avez à votre tête Amaria, le souverain sacrificateur, pour toutes les affaires de l’Éternel, et Zebadia, fils d’Ismaël, chef de la maison de Juda, pour toutes les affaires du roi, et vous avez devant vous des Lévites comme magistrats. Fortifiez-vous et agissez, et que l’Éternel soit avec celui qui fera le bien!
