2 Chronicles 15

1 and Azariah son: child Oded to be upon him spirit God

روح خدا بر عزریا (پسر عودید) نازل شد و او به ملاقات آسا رفت. عزریا مردم یهودا و بنیامین و آسای پادشاه را مخاطب قرار داده، گفت: «به سخنانم گوش دهید! تا زمانی که شما با خداوند باشید، خداوند هم با شما خواهد بود. هر وقت که در طلب او برآیید، وی را خواهید یافت. ولی اگر او را ترک گویید، او نیز شما را ترک خواهد نمود.

2 and to come out: come to/for face: before Asa and to say to/for him to hear: hear me Asa and all Judah and Benjamin LORD with you in/on/with to be you with him and if to seek him to find to/for you and if to leave: forsake him to leave: forsake [obj] you

3 and day many to/for Israel to/for not God truth: true and to/for not priest to show and to/for not instruction

مدتهاست در اسرائیل، مردم خدای حقیقی را پرستش نکرده‌اند و کاهن واقعی نداشته‌اند تا ایشان را تعلیم بدهد. آنها مطابق شریعت خدا زندگی نکرده‌اند.

4 and to return: turn back in/on/with distress to/for him upon LORD God Israel and to seek him and to find to/for them

اما هر وقت در سختی و پریشانی به سوی خداوند، خدای اسرائیل بازگشت نموده، به او روی آورده‌اند، او به داد ایشان رسیده است.

5 and in/on/with time [the] they(masc.) nothing peace to/for to come out: come and to/for to come (in): come for tumult many upon all to dwell [the] land: country/planet

در زمانی که اسرائیل از خدا دور شده بود، همه جا آشوب و اضطراب بود و مردم نمی‌توانستند در امنیت سفر کنند.

6 and to crush nation in/on/with nation and city in/on/with city for God to confuse them in/on/with all distress

در داخل و خارج جنگ بود و اهالی شهرها به جان هم افتاده بودند؛ این بلاها و مصیبتها را خدا بر آنها فرستاده بود.

7 and you(m. p.) to strengthen: strengthen and not to slacken hand your for there wages to/for wages your

اما اکنون شما ای مردان یهودا، به کار خود ادامه دهید و دلسرد نشوید زیرا پاداش زحمات خود را خواهید یافت.»

8 and like/as to hear: hear Asa [the] word [the] these and [the] prophecy (Azariah son: child *X*) Oded [the] prophet to strengthen: strengthen and to pass: bring [the] abomination from all land: country/planet Judah and Benjamin and from [the] city which to capture from mountain: hill country Ephraim and to renew [obj] altar LORD which to/for face: before Portico LORD

وقتی آسا این پیام خدا را از عزریا شنید، قوت قلب پیدا کرد و تمام بتهای سرزمین یهودا و بنیامین و شهرهای کوهستانی افرایم را از بین برد و مذبح خداوند را که در حیاط خانهٔ خداوند بود تعمیر کرد.

9 and to gather [obj] all Judah and Benjamin and [the] to sojourn with them from Ephraim and Manasseh and from Simeon for to fall: deserting upon him from Israel to/for abundance in/on/with to see: see they for LORD God his with him

سپس آسا تمام مردم یهودا و بنیامین و مهاجران اسرائیلی را به اورشلیم فرا خواند. (این مهاجران اسرائیلی از قبایل افرایم، منسی و شمعون بودند، آنها وقتی دیدند خداوند، خدای ایشان با آسای پادشاه است، به او ملحق شدند.)

10 and to gather Jerusalem in/on/with month [the] third to/for year five ten to/for royalty Asa

همهٔ آنها در ماه سوم از پانزدهمین سال سلطنت آسا به اورشلیم آمدند،

11 and to sacrifice to/for LORD in/on/with day [the] he/she/it from [the] spoil to come (in): bring cattle seven hundred and flock seven thousand

و ۷۰۰ گاو و ۷٬۰۰۰ گوسفند از غنایمی که در جنگ به دست آورده بودند برای خداوند قربانی کردند.

12 and to come (in): come in/on/with covenant to/for to seek [obj] LORD God father their in/on/with all heart their and in/on/with all soul their

سپس با تمام دل و جان عهد بستند که فقط از خداوند، خدای اجداد خود پیروی کنند.

13 and all which not to seek to/for LORD God Israel to die to/for from small: young and till great: large to/for from man and till woman

آنها قرار گذاشتند هر کسی که از خداوند، خدای اسرائیل پیروی نکند، خواه پیر باشد خواه جوان، زن باشد یا مرد، کشته شود.

14 and to swear to/for LORD in/on/with voice great: large and in/on/with shout and in/on/with trumpet and in/on/with trumpet

آنها با صدای بلند سوگند یاد نمودند که نسبت به خداوند وفادار بمانند و از شادی فریاد برآوردند و شیپور نواختند.

15 and to rejoice all Judah upon [the] oath for in/on/with all heart their to swear and in/on/with all acceptance their to seek him and to find to/for them and to rest LORD to/for them from around

تمام مردم یهودا برای این عهدی که با خداوند بسته شد خوشحال بودند، زیرا با تمام دل و جان این عهد را بستند. ایشان با اشتیاق از خداوند پیروی کردند و او نیز آنها را برکت داده، در سرزمینشان صلح و آرامش برقرار نمود.

16 and also Maacah mother Asa [the] king to turn aside: remove her from queen which to make to/for Asherah horror and to cut: cut Asa [obj] horror her and to crush and to burn in/on/with torrent: valley Kidron

آسای پادشاه حتی مادربزرگش معکه را به سبب اینکه بت می‌پرستید، از مقام ملکه‌ای برکنار کرد و بت او را شکست و در درهٔ قدرون سوزانید.

17 and [the] high place not to turn aside: remove from Israel except heart Asa to be complete all day his

هر چند آسا بتکده‌های بالای تپه‌ها را در سرزمین اسرائیل به کلی نابود نکرد، اما دل او در تمام عمرش با خدا راست بود.

18 and to come (in): bring [obj] holiness father his and holiness his house: temple [the] God silver: money and gold and article/utensil

او اشیاء طلا و نقره‌ای را که خود و پدرش وقف خداوند نموده بودند، در خانهٔ خداوند گذاشت.

19 and battle not to be till year thirty and five to/for royalty Asa

تا سال سی و پنجم سلطنت آسا در سرزمین وی صلح برقرار بود.
