2 Chronicles 12
1 and to be like/as to establish: establish royalty Rehoboam and like/as strength his to leave: forsake [obj] instruction LORD and all Israel with him
Et lorsque la royauté de Roboam se fut affermie, et qu'il fut devenu fort, il abandonna la Loi de l'Éternel, et tout Israël avec lui.
2 and to be in/on/with year [the] fifth to/for king Rehoboam to ascend: rise Shishak king Egypt upon Jerusalem for be unfaithful in/on/with LORD
Et dans la cinquième année du règne de Roboam, Sisac, roi d'Egypte, marcha avec mille deux cents chars et soixante mille hommes de cavalerie sur Jérusalem, parce qu'ils avaient été infidèles à l'Éternel;
3 in/on/with thousand and hundred chariot and in/on/with sixty thousand horseman and nothing number to/for people which to come (in): come with him from Egypt Libyan Sukkiim and Ethiopian
et innombrables étaient les troupes venues avec lui d'Egypte, des Libyens, des Suchites et des Éthiopiens:
4 and to capture [obj] city [the] fortress which to/for Judah and to come (in): come till Jerusalem
et il prit les places fortes appartenant à Juda, et parut devant Jérusalem.
5 and Shemaiah [the] prophet to come (in): come to(wards) Rehoboam and ruler Judah which to gather to(wards) Jerusalem from face: because Shishak and to say to/for them thus to say LORD you(m. p.) to leave: forsake [obj] me and also I to leave: forsake [obj] you in/on/with hand: power Shishak
Mais Semaïa, le prophète, vint trouver Roboam et les princes de Juda qui s'étaient rassemblés à Jérusalem pour échapper à Sisac, et leur dit: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Vous m'avez abandonné, et aussi je vous abandonne aux mains de Sisac.
6 and be humble ruler Israel and [the] king and to say righteous LORD
Alors les princes d'Israël et le roi s'humilièrent et dirent: L'Éternel est juste.
7 and in/on/with to see: see LORD for be humble to be word LORD to(wards) Shemaiah to/for to say be humble not to ruin them and to give: give to/for them like/as little to/for survivor and not to pour rage my in/on/with Jerusalem in/on/with hand: power Shishak
Et lorsque l'Éternel vit qu'ils s'étaient humiliés, la parole de l'Éternel fut adressée à Semaïa, en ces termes: Ils se sont humiliés, je ne les détruirai pas, et dans peu je les dégagerai, et ma colère ne s'épanchera pas sur Jérusalem par la main de Sisac.
8 for to be to/for him to/for servant/slave and to know service my and service kingdom [the] land: country/planet
Cependant ils lui seront assujettis, afin qu'ils sentent ce que c'est que m'être assujetti et être assujetti aux royaumes des autres pays.
9 and to ascend: rise Shishak king Egypt upon Jerusalem and to take: take [obj] treasure house: temple LORD and [obj] treasure house: home [the] king [obj] [the] all to take: take and to take: take [obj] shield [the] gold which to make Solomon
Sisac, roi d'Egypte, marcha donc sur Jérusalem; et il enleva les trésors du Temple de l'Éternel, et les trésors du palais royal; il enleva tout, et enleva les boucliers d'or qu'avait faits Salomon.
10 and to make [the] king Rehoboam underneath: instead them shield bronze and to reckon: overseer upon hand ruler [the] to run: guard [the] to keep: guard entrance house: home [the] king
Et pour les remplacer le roi Roboam fit des boucliers d'airain qu'il commit aux mains des chefs des coureurs, gardes de l'entrée du palais royal.
11 and to be from sufficiency to come (in): come [the] king house: temple LORD to come (in): come [the] to run: guard and to lift: bear them and to return: return them to(wards) chamber [the] to run: guard
Et toutes les fois que le roi venait au Temple de l'Éternel, les coureurs venaient les apporter, puis les reportaient dans la salle des coureurs.
12 and in/on/with be humble he to return: turn back from him face: anger LORD and not to/for to ruin to/for consumption and also in/on/with Judah to be word: thing pleasant
Comme donc il s'humilia, la colère de l'Éternel se détourna de lui, à l'effet de ne pas le détruire totalement: il y avait aussi dans Juda encore de bonnes choses.
13 and to strengthen: strengthen [the] king Rehoboam in/on/with Jerusalem and to reign for son: aged forty and one year Rehoboam in/on/with to reign he and seven ten year to reign in/on/with Jerusalem [the] city which to choose LORD to/for to set: put [obj] name his there from all tribe Israel and name mother his Naamah [the] Ammon
Et le roi Roboam s'affermit dans Jérusalem et régna. Roboam avait quarante-un ans à son avènement, et il régna dix-sept ans à Jérusalem, ville que l'Éternel avait choisie dans toutes les Tribus d'Israël, pour y placer son Nom. Or le nom de sa mère était Naama, l'Ammonite.
14 and to make: do [the] bad: evil for not to establish: establish heart his to/for to seek [obj] LORD
Et il fit le mal parce qu'il ne dirigea pas son cœur vers la recherche de l'Éternel.
15 and word: deed Rehoboam [the] first and [the] last not they(masc.) to write in/on/with word: deed Shemaiah [the] prophet and Iddo [the] seer to/for to enroll and battle Rehoboam and Jeroboam all [the] day: always
Les actes de Roboam, les premiers et les derniers, sont d'ailleurs consignés dans les histoires de Semaïa, le prophète, et de Iddo, le Voyant, aux registres. Et il y eut constamment hostilité entre Roboam et Jéroboam.
16 and to lie down: be dead Rehoboam with father his and to bury in/on/with city David and to reign Abijah son: child his underneath: instead him
Et Roboam reposa à côté de ses pères et reçut la sépulture dans la Cité de David, et son fils Abia devint roi en sa place.
