1 Timothy 2

Je demande donc instamment avant tout, qu’on fasse des supplications, des prières, des demandes, des actions de grâces pour tous les hommes,
2 above/for king and all the/this/who in/on/among authority to be in order that/to quiet and quiet life to live in/on/among all piety and dignity
Pour les rois et tous ceux qui sont en dignité, afin que nous menions une vie paisible et tranquille, en toute piété et chasteté.

Car cela est bon et agréable à notre Sauveur Dieu,
4 which all a human to will/desire to save and toward knowledge truth to come/go
Qui veut que tous les hommes soient sauvés, et viennent à la connaissance de la vérité,

Car il n’y a qu’un Dieu et qu’un médiateur entre Dieu et les hommes, le Christ Jésus homme,

Qui s’est livré lui-même, pour la rédemption de tous, comme un témoignage temps.

C’est pourquoi j’ai été établi moi-même prédicateur et apôtre (je dis la vérité, je ne mens point), docteur des nations dans la foi et la vérité.

Je veux donc que les hommes prient en tout lieu, élevant des mains pures, sans colère et sans contention.
9 likewise and (the/this/who *k*) woman in/on/among attire/behaviour respectable with/after modesty and mental soundness to arrange themself not in/on/among braided (and gold *N(k)O*) or pearl or clothing valuable
Pareillement, que les femmes, en vêtements décents, se parent avec pudeur et modestie, et non avec des cheveux frisés, ou de l’or, ou des habits somptueux;
10 but which be proper woman to profess reverence for God through/because of work good
Mais comme il convient à des femmes qui font profession de piété par de bonnes œuvres.
11 woman in/on/among quietness to learn in/on/among all submission
Que la femme écoute en silence et dans une entière soumission.
12 to teach then woman no to permit nor to domineer man but to exist in/on/among quietness
Je ne permets point à la femme d’enseigner ni de dominer sur l’homme; mais qu’elle garde le silence.
13 Adam for first to mold then Eve
Car Adam fut formé le premier, ensuite Eve,

Et Adam ne fut point séduit, mais la femme séduite tomba dans la prévarication.
15 to save then through/because of the/this/who childbearing if to stay in/on/among faith and love and holiness with/after mental soundness
Toutefois elle sera sauvée par la génération des enfants, si elle demeure dans la foi, la charité et la sainteté jointe à la tempérance.
