1 Samuel 9

Or, il était un homme de la tribu de Benjamin nommé Cis, fils d’Abiel, fils de Séror, fils de Béchorath, fils d’Aphia, fils d’un homme de Jémini, courageux et robuste.
2 and to/for him to be son: child and name his Saul youth and pleasant and nothing man from son: descendant/people Israel pleasant from him from shoulder his and above [to] high from all [the] people
Et il avait un fils du nom de Saül, distingué et bon; et il n’était pas d’homme parmi les enfants d’Israël meilleur que lui; de l’épaule et de la tête il surpassait tout le peuple.

Or les ânesses de Cis, père de Saül, s’étaient perdues; et Cis dit à Saül, son fils: Prends avec toi un des serviteurs, et, te levant, va, et cherche les ânesses. Ceux-ci ayant passé par la montagne d’Ephraïm,
4 and to pass in/on/with mountain: hill country Ephraim and to pass in/on/with land: country/planet Shalishah and not to find and to pass in/on/with land: country/planet Shaalim and nothing and to pass in/on/with land: country/planet [Ben]jaminite and not to find
Et par la terre de Salisa, et ne les ayant point trouvées, passèrent aussi par la terre de Salim, et elles n’y étaient pas; et aussi par la terre de Jémini, et ils ne les rencontrèrent pas du tout.

Mais lorsqu’ils furent venus dans la terre de Suph, Saül dit au serviteur qui était avec lui: Viens, et retournons-nous-en, de peur que mon père n’ait laissé les ânesses, et qu’il ne soit inquiet sur nous.

Le serviteur lui dit: Voilà qu’il y a un homme de Dieu dans cette ville, homme célèbre, tout ce qu’il dit arrive certainement. Maintenant donc allons là; peut-être nous renseignera-t-il sur la route, à cause de laquelle nous sommes venus.

Alors Saül dit à son serviteur: Eh bien, nous irons: que porterons-nous à l’homme de Dieu? Le pain a manqué dans nos panetières, nous n’avons pas de présent pour donner à l’homme de Dieu, ni quelque autre chose que ce soit.

Le serviteur répondit de nouveau à Saül, et dit: Voici que se trouve dans ma main la quatrième partie d’un statère d’argent, donnons-la à l’homme de Dieu, afin qu’il nous indique notre route.
9 to/for face: before in/on/with Israel thus to say [the] man in/on/with to go: went he to/for to seek God to go: come! and to go: went till [the] seer for to/for prophet [the] day to call: call by to/for face: before [the] seer
(Autrefois dans Israël ainsi parlaient tous ceux qui allaient consulter Dieu: Venez, et allons au voyant; car celui qui est appelé prophète aujourd’hui, se nommait autrefois voyant.)
10 and to say Saul to/for youth his pleasant word: speaking your to go: come! [emph?] to go: went and to go: went to(wards) [the] city which there man [the] God
Alors Saül dit à son serviteur: Ta parole est excellente. Viens, allons. Et ils allèrent dans la ville, dans laquelle était l’homme de Dieu.
11 they(masc.) to ascend: rise in/on/with ascent [the] city and they(masc.) to find maiden to come out: come to/for to draw water and to say to/for them there in/on/with this [the] seer
Et lorsqu’ils montaient la pente de la ville, ils trouvèrent des jeunes filles, qui sortaient pour puiser de l’eau, et ils leur demandèrent: Est-il ici le voyant?
12 and to answer [obj] them and to say there behold to/for face: before your to hasten now for [the] day: today to come (in): come to/for city for sacrifice [the] day: today to/for people in/on/with high place
Celles-ci répondant, leur dirent: Il est ici: le voici devant toi, hâte-toi maintenant; car il est venu aujourd’hui dans la ville, parce qu’il y a aujourd’hui un sacrifice pour le peuple sur le haut lieu.
13 like/as to come (in): come you [the] city so to find [emph?] [obj] him in/on/with before to ascend: rise [the] high place [to] to/for to eat for not to eat [the] people till to come (in): come he for he/she/it to bless [the] sacrifice after so to eat [the] to call: call to and now to ascend: rise for [obj] him like/as [the] day: today to find [emph?] [obj] him
Entrant dans la ville, vous le trouverez aussitôt, avant qu’il monte le haut lieu pour manger; car le peuple ne doit pas manger, jusqu à ce qu’il vienne, parce que c’est lui qui bénit l’hostie, et que c’est après cela que mangent ceux qui ont été appelés. Montez donc maintenant, parce qu’aujourd’hui vous le trouverez.
14 and to ascend: rise [the] city they(masc.) to come (in): come in/on/with midst [the] city and behold Samuel to come out: come to/for to encounter: toward them to/for to ascend: rise [the] high place
Et ils montèrent à la ville. Et comme ils marchaient au milieu de la ville, parut Samuel, sortant au-devant d’eux, pour monter sur le haut lieu.
15 and LORD to reveal: reveal [obj] ear: to ears Samuel day one to/for face: before to come (in): come Saul to/for to say
Or, le Seigneur avait ouvert l’oreille de Samuel, un jour avant que n’arrivât Saül, disant:
16 like/as time tomorrow to send: depart to(wards) you man from land: country/planet Benjamin and to anoint him to/for leader upon people my Israel and to save [obj] people my from hand: power Philistine for to see: see [obj] people my for to come (in): come cry his to(wards) me
À cette heure même qui est maintenant, demain j’enverrai vers toi un homme de la terre de Benjamin, et tu l’oindras chef sur mon peuple d’Israël; et il sauvera mon peuple de la main des Philistins, parce que j’ai regardé mon peuple; car leur clameur est venue jusqu’à moi.
17 and Samuel to see: see [obj] Saul and LORD to answer him behold [the] man which to say to(wards) you this to restrain in/on/with people my
Et lorsque Samuel eut regardé Saül, le Seigneur lui dit: Voici l’homme dont je t’avais parlé, c’est celui-là qui régnera sur mon peuple.
18 and to approach: approach Saul [obj] Samuel in/on/with midst [the] gate and to say to tell [emph?] please to/for me where? this house: home [the] seer
Or Saül s’approcha de Samuel au milieu de la porte, et dit: Indique-moi, je te prie, où est la maison du voyant.
19 and to answer Samuel [obj] Saul and to say I [the] seer to ascend: rise to/for face: before my [the] high place and to eat with me [the] day and to send: let go you in/on/with morning and all which in/on/with heart your to tell to/for you
Et Samuel répondit à Saül, disant: C’est moi qui suis le voyant: monte devant moi sur le haut lieu, afin que vous mangiez avec moi aujourd’hui, et je t’enverrai le matin; et tout ce qui est dans ton cœur, je te l’expliquerai.
20 and to/for she-ass [the] to perish to/for you [the] day three [the] day not to set: make [obj] heart your to/for them for to find and to/for who? all desire Israel not to/for you and to/for all house: household father your
Et quant aux ânesses que tu as perdues, il y a trois jours, ne sois pas inquiet, parce qu’elles sont retrouvées. Et à qui seront toutes les meilleures choses d’Israël? N’est-ce pas à toi et à toute la maison de ton père?
21 and to answer Saul and to say not Benjaminite Benjaminite I from small tribe Israel and family my [the] little from all family tribe Benjamin and to/for what? to speak: speak to(wards) me like/as Chronicles [the] this
Mais Saül répondant, dit: Est-ce que je ne suis pas, moi, fils de Jémini, de la plus petite tribu d’Israël, et ma parenté n’est-elle pas la dernière entre toutes les familles de la tribu de Benjamin? Pourquoi donc m’avez-vous tenu ce discours?
22 and to take: take Samuel [obj] Saul and [obj] youth his and to come (in): bring them chamber [to] and to give: give to/for them place in/on/with head [the] to call: call to and they(masc.) like/as thirty man
C’est pourquoi Samuel prenant Saül et son serviteur, les introduisit dans la salle à manger, et leur donna place à la tête de ceux qui avaient été invités; car ils étaient environ trente personnes.
23 and to say Samuel to/for guard to give: give [emph?] [obj] [the] portion which to give: give to/for you which to say to(wards) you to set: put [obj] her with you
Et il dit au cuisinier: Donne la portion, que je t’ai donnée, et que je t’ai commandé de mettre à part auprès de toi.
24 and to exalt [the] guard [obj] [the] leg and [the] upon her and to set: make to/for face: before Saul and to say behold [the] to remain to set: make to/for face: before your to eat for to/for meeting: time appointed to keep: guard to/for you to/for to say [the] people to call: call to and to eat Saul with Samuel in/on/with day [the] he/she/it
Or, le cuisinier prit une épaule, et la plaça devant Saül. Et Samuel dit: Voici ce qui est resté, mets-le devant toi, et mange, parce que c’est à dessein qu’on l’a conservé pour toi, quand j’ai invité le peuple. Et Saül mangea avec Samuel en ce jour-là.

Après cela, ils descendirent du haut lieu dans la ville, et Samuel parla avec Saül sur la terrasse, et il prépara un lit à Saül, et Saül dormit.
26 and to rise and to be like/as to ascend: dawn [the] dawn and to call: call out Samuel to(wards) Saul ([the] roof [to] *Q(K)*) to/for to say to arise: rise [emph?] and to send: depart you and to arise: rise Saul and to come out: come two their he/she/it and Samuel [the] outside [to]
Lorsque le matin, ils se furent levés, et que déjà il faisait jour, Samuel appela Saül sur la terrasse, disant: Lève-toi et je, t’enverrai. Et Saül se leva, et ils} sortirent tous deux, c’est-à-dire lui-même et Samuel.
27 they(masc.) to go down in/on/with end [the] city and Samuel to say to(wards) Saul to say to/for youth and to pass to/for face: before our and to pass and you(m. s.) to stand: stand like/as day and to hear: proclaim you [obj] word God
Et lorsqu’ils descendaient à l’extrémité de la ville, Samuel dit à Saül: Dis à ton serviteur qu’il nous précède, et qu’il passe outre; mais toi, demeure un peu, afin que je te révèle la parole de Dieu.
