1 Samuel 8
1 and to be like/as as which be old Samuel and to set: make [obj] son: child his to judge to/for Israel
बूढ़ा होने पर शमुएल ने अपने पुत्रों को इस्राएल का न्यायाध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया.
2 and to be name son: child his [the] firstborn Joel and name second his Abijah to judge in/on/with Beersheba Beersheba
उनके प्रथम पुत्र का नाम था योएल तथा द्वितीय का अबीयाह. वे बेअरशेबा में रहते हुए न्याय करते थे.
3 and not to go: walk son: child his (in/on/with way: conduct his *Q(K)*) and to stretch after [the] unjust-gain and to take: take bribe and to stretch justice
मगर उनके पुत्रों का आचरण उनके समान न था. वे अनुचित रीति से धनार्जन में लग गए. वे घूस लेते तथा न्याय को विकृत कर देते थे.
4 and to gather all old: elder Israel and to come (in): come to(wards) Samuel [the] Ramah [to]
तब इस्राएल के सब नेतागण एकजुट होकर रामाह में शमुएल के पास आए.
5 and to say to(wards) him behold you(m. s.) be old and son: child your not to go: walk in/on/with way: conduct your now to set: appoint [emph?] to/for us king to/for to judge us like/as all [the] nation
उन्होंने शमुएल से कहा, “देखिए, आप वयोवृद्ध हो चले हैं, आपके पुत्र आपके समान नहीं हैं. इसलिए अब जिस प्रकार अन्य जनताओं में प्रचलित है, उसी प्रकार आप हमारे लिए एक राजा चुन दें, कि वह हम पर शासन करे.”
6 and be evil [the] word: thing in/on/with eye: appearance Samuel like/as as which to say to give: give [emph?] to/for us king to/for to judge us and to pray Samuel to(wards) LORD
शमुएल इस विनती को सुनकर अप्रसन्न हो गए. क्योंकि उन्होंने उनसे कहा था, “हम पर शासन करने के लिए हमें एक राजा दीजिए.” तब शमुएल ने याहवेह से प्रार्थना की.
7 and to say LORD to(wards) Samuel to hear: obey in/on/with voice [the] people to/for all which to say to(wards) you for not [obj] you to reject for [obj] me to reject from to reign upon them
याहवेह ने शमुएल से कहा, “ठीक वही करो, जिसकी विनती ये लोग कर रहे हैं. उन्होंने तुम्हें नहीं, परंतु मुझे अपने राजा के रूप में अस्वीकार कर दिया है.
8 like/as all [the] deed which to make: do from day: today to ascend: establish I [obj] them from Egypt and till [the] day: today [the] this and to leave: forsake me and to serve God another so they(masc.) to make: do also to/for you
ठीक जिस प्रकार वे उस समय से करते चले आ रहे हैं, जिस दिन से मैंने उन्हें मिस्र से विमुक्त किया, तब से आज तक, ये लोग मेरा परित्याग कर पराए देवताओं की आराधना करते रहे हैं; ठीक यहीं वे तुम्हारे साथ भी कर रहे हैं.
9 and now to hear: obey in/on/with voice their surely for to testify to testify in/on/with them and to tell to/for them justice: custom [the] king which to reign upon them
तब सही यही होगा कि तुम वही करो जो ये लोग चाह रहे हैं. हां, उन्हें इस विषय में गंभीर चेतावनी अवश्य दे देना कि वह राजा, जो उन पर शासन करेगा, उसकी नीतियां कैसी होंगी.”
10 and to say Samuel [obj] all word LORD to(wards) [the] people [the] to ask from with him king
तब शमुएल ने याहवेह द्वारा अभिव्यक्त सारा विचार जिन्होंने उनसे राजा की नियुक्ति की विनती की थी उन लोगों के सामने प्रस्तुत किए.
11 and to say this to be justice: custom [the] king which to reign upon you [obj] son: child your to take: take and to set: appoint to/for him in/on/with chariot his and in/on/with horse his and to run: run to/for face: before chariot his
शमुएल ने उनसे कहा, “जो राजा तुम पर शासन करेगा, उसकी नीतियां इस प्रकार होंगी: वह तुम्हारे पुत्रों को लेकर अपनी रथों की सेना, तथा घुड़सवारों के रूप में चुनेगा, कि वे उसके रथों के आगे-आगे दौड़ा करें.
12 and to/for to set: appoint to/for him ruler thousand and ruler fifty and to/for to plow/plot plowing his and to/for to reap harvest his and to/for to make article/utensil battle his and article/utensil chariot his
वह अपने लिए हज़ार पर तथा पचासों के लिए आदेशक चुनेगा. वह अपनी भूमि पर हल चलाने के लिए, उपज कटने के लिए तथा युद्ध के शस्त्र तथा रथों के लिए उपकरण निर्माता भी चुनेगा.
13 and [obj] daughter your to take: take to/for perfumer and to/for cook and to/for to bake
वह तुमसे तुम्हारी पुत्रियां लेकर उन्हें सुगंध बनाने, रसोई कर्मचारी तथा सेंकने की कर्मचारी के रूप में चुनेगा.
14 and [obj] land: country your and [obj] vineyard your and olive your [the] pleasant to take: take and to give: give to/for servant/slave his
वह तुम्हारे सर्वोत्तम खेत, अंगूर के बगीचे तथा ज़ैतून उद्यान तुमसे लेकर अपने सेवकों को सौंप देगा.
15 and seed your and vineyard your to tithe and to give: give to/for eunuch his and to/for servant/slave his
वह तुम्हारे अनाज में से तथा द्राक्ष उद्यान में से दसवां अंश लेकर अपने अधिकारियों तथा अपने सेवकों को दे देगा.
16 and [obj] servant/slave your and [obj] maidservant your and [obj] youth your [the] pleasant and [obj] donkey your to take: take and to make: do to/for work his
वह तुम्हारे सेवक-सेविकाएं तथा तुम्हारे सर्वोत्तम युवाओं तथा गधों को लेकर स्वयं अपने कामों में लगा देगा.
17 flock your to tithe and you(m. p.) to be to/for him to/for servant/slave
वह तुम्हारे पशुओं के दसवां अंश ले लेगा और तुम उसके दास बन जाओगे.
18 and to cry out in/on/with day [the] he/she/it from to/for face: because king your which to choose to/for you and not to answer LORD [obj] you in/on/with day [the] he/she/it
तब उस समय तुम अपने राजा के विरुद्ध दोहाई दोगे, जिसे तुम्हीं ने चुना था; मगर तब याहवेह तुम्हारी छुड़ौती के लिए नहीं आएंगे.”
19 and to refuse [the] people to/for to hear: obey in/on/with voice Samuel and to say not that if: except if: except king to be upon us
मगर लोगों ने शमुएल के चेतावनी वचनों पर विचार करना अस्वीकार कर दिया. उन्होंने कहा, “कुछ भी हो! हमें तो राजा चाहिए ही!
20 and to be also we like/as all [the] nation and to judge us king our and to come out: come to/for face: before our and to fight [obj] battle our
हम चाहते हैं कि हम भी अन्य राष्ट्रों के समान हों. हमारा राजा ही हमारा न्यायाध्यक्ष होगा, वह हम पर शासन करेगा, वही हमारे लिए युद्ध करेगा.”
21 and to hear: hear Samuel [obj] all word [the] people and to speak: speak them in/on/with ear: to ears LORD
जब शमुएल लोगों की सारी मांगें सुन चुके, उन्होंने सभी कुछ याहवेह को सुना दिया.
22 and to say LORD to(wards) Samuel to hear: obey in/on/with voice their and to reign to/for them king and to say Samuel to(wards) human Israel to go: went man: anyone to/for city his
याहवेह ने शमुएल से कहा, वही करो, जो वे चाहते हैं. “उनके लिए एक राजा चुन दो.” शमुएल ने इस्राएल के दूतों से कहा, “तुममें से हर एक अपने-अपने नगर को लौट जाए.”
