Och David flydde ifrå Najoth i Rama, och kom och talade för Jonathan: Hvad hafver jag gjort? Hvad hafver jag misshandlat? Hvad hafver jag syndat för dinom fader, att han står efter mitt lif?
2 and to say to/for him forbid not to die behold (not to make: do *Q(K)*) father my word: thing great: large or word: thing small and not to reveal: reveal [obj] ear: to ears my and why? to hide father my from me [obj] [the] word: thing [the] this nothing this
Han sade till honom: Bort det! Du skall icke dö; si, min fader gör intet, hvarken stort eller litet, det han icke uppenbarar för min öron; hvi skulle då min fader dölja detta för mig? Det skall icke gå så till.
3 and to swear still David and to say to know to know father your for to find favor in/on/with eye: appearance your and to say not to know this Jonathan lest to hurt and but alive LORD and alive soul your for like/as step between me and between [the] death
Då svor David ytterligare, och sade: Din fader vet väl, att jag hafver funnit nåde för din ögon; derföre må han tänka, Jonathan skall intet veta häraf, på det han icke skall bedröfvas deraf; sannerliga, så visst som Herren lefver, och så visst som din själ lefver, det är icke mer än ett steg emellan mig och döden.
4 and to say Jonathan to(wards) David what? to say soul: myself your and to make: do to/for you
Jonathan sade till David: Jag vill göra dig allt det ditt hjerta begärar.
5 and to say David to(wards) Jonathan behold month: new moon tomorrow and I to dwell to dwell with [the] king to/for to eat and to send: let go me and to hide in/on/with land: country till [the] evening [the] third
David sade till honom: Si, i morgon är nymånad, att jag skall sitta till bords med Konungen; så låt mig betämma, att jag gömmer mig på markene allt intill aftonen på tredje dagen.

Om din fader frågar efter mig, så säg: David bad mig, att han måtte löpa till sin stad BethLehem; förty det är ett årligit offer allo slägtene.

Är det så, att han säger: Det är godt; så står det väl med dinom tjenare; varder han ock vred, så varder du väl märkandes, att han hafver ondt i sinnet.

Så gör nu barmhertighet med dinom tjenare; ty du hafver med mig dinom tjenare gjort ett förbund i Herranom; är ock någor missgerning i mig, så dräp du mig, och låt mig icke komma inför din fader.

Jonathan sade: Bort det ifrå dig, att jag skulle märka, att min fader hade i sinnet göra dig ondt, och jag icke skulle det säga dig.

David sade: Ho skall säga mig det, om din fader svarar dig något hårdt?

Jonathan sade till David: Kom, låt oss gå ut på markena; och de gingo både ut på markena.
12 and to say Jonathan to(wards) David LORD God Israel for to search [obj] father my like/as time tomorrow [the] third and behold pleasant to(wards) David and not then to send: depart to(wards) you and to reveal: reveal [obj] ear: to ears your
Och Jonathan sade till David: Herre Israels Gud, om jag utfrågar af minom fader i morgon och öfvermorgon, att det står väl till med David, och jag icke sänder till dig, och uppenbarar det för din öron;
13 thus to make: do LORD to/for Jonathan and thus to add for be good to(wards) father my [obj] [the] distress: harm upon you and to reveal: reveal [obj] ear: to ears your and to send: depart you and to go: went to/for peace: well-being and to be LORD with you like/as as which to be with father my
Så göre Herren det och det med Jonathan; men om minom fader täckes det ondt är emot dig, så vill jag ock uppenbara det för din öron, och släppa dig, att du går dina färde med frid; och Herren vare med dig, såsom han med minom fader vant hafver.
14 and not if still I alive and not to make: do with me me kindness LORD and not to die
Gör jag det icke, så gör du inga Herrans barmhertighet med mig, så länge jag lefver, ej heller när jag dör.
15 and not to cut: eliminate [obj] kindness your from from with house: household my till forever: enduring and not in/on/with to cut: eliminate LORD [obj] enemy David man: anyone from upon face: surface [the] land: planet
Och när Herren utrotar Davids fiendar, hvar och en utaf landet, så tag icke du dina barmhertighet bort ifrå mitt hus till evig tid.
16 and to cut: make(covenant) Jonathan with house: household David and to seek LORD from hand: to enemy David
Alltså gjorde Jonathan ett förbund med Davids hus, och sade: Herren kräfve det utaf Davids fiendars händer.
17 and to add: again Jonathan to/for to swear [obj] David in/on/with love his [obj] him for love soul his to love: lover him
Och Jonathan sade ytterligare, och svor David, så kär hade han honom; ty han hade honom så kär, som sina själ.
18 and to say to/for him Jonathan tomorrow month: new moon and to reckon: missing for to reckon: missing seat your
Och Jonathan sade till honom: I morgon är nymånad, så varder väl frågadt efter dig; ty man varder dig saknandes, der du plägar sitta.
19 and to do three to go down much and to come (in): towards to(wards) [the] place which to hide there in/on/with day [the] deed and to dwell beside [the] stone [the] Ezel
På tredje dagen kom med hast neder, och gack uti något rum, der du kan gömma dig på söknedagenom, och sätt dig vid den stenen Asel;
20 and I three [the] arrow side [to] to shoot to/for to send: depart to/for me to/for guardhouse
Så vill jag skjuta tre pilar utmed honom, såsom jag sköte till ett mål.
21 and behold to send: depart [obj] [the] youth to go: went to find [obj] [the] arrow if to say to say to/for youth behold [the] arrow from you and here/thus to take: take him and to come (in): come [emph?] for peace: well-being to/for you and nothing word: thing alive LORD
Och si, jag vill sända drängen: Gack och tag igen pilen; om jag säger till drängen: Si, pilarna ligga hitut bak dig, tag upp dem; så kom, ty det är frid, och är ingen fara, så visserliga som Herren lefver.
22 and if thus to say to/for youth behold [the] arrow from you and further to go: went for to send: depart you LORD
Men om jag säger till drängen: Si, pilarna ligga bort bätter fram för dig; så gack dina färde, ty Herren hafver låtit dig gå.
23 and [the] word: thing which to speak: speak I and you(m. s.) behold LORD between me and between you till forever: enduring
Och hvad du och jag med hvarannan talat hafve, Herren vare emellan mig och dig i evig tid.
24 and to hide David in/on/with land: country and to be [the] month: new moon and to dwell [the] king (to(wards) *Q(K)*) [the] food to/for to eat
Så gömde David sig i markene; och då nymånaden kom, satte Konungen sig till bords till att äta.
25 and to dwell [the] king upon seat his like/as beat in/on/with beat to(wards) seat [the] wall and to arise: establish Jonathan and to dwell Abner from side Saul and to reckon: missing place David
Då nu Konungen hade satt sig i sitt rum, såsom han tillförene var van, utmed väggene, stod Jonathan upp; och Abner satte sig vid Sauls sido; och man saknade David i hans rum.

Och Saul talade den dagen intet; ty han tänkte, honom är något vederkommet, att han icke är ren.

På den andra nymånadsdagenom, då man saknade David i hans rum, sade Saul till sin son Jonathan: Hvi är icke Isai son kommen till bords, hvarken i går eller idag?
28 and to answer Jonathan [obj] Saul to ask to ask David from with me me till Bethlehem Bethlehem
Jonathan svarade Saul: Han bad mig, att han skulle gå till BethLehem;

Och sade: Låt mig gå, förty vår slägt skall offra i stadenom, och min broder hafver sjelf budit mig; hafver jag nu funnit nåd för din ögon, så vill jag dit, och se mina bröder; derföre är han icke kommen till Konungens bord.
30 and to be incensed face: anger Saul in/on/with Jonathan and to say to/for him son: child to pervert [the] rebellious not to know for to choose you(m. s.) to/for son: child Jesse to/for shame your and to/for shame nakedness mother your
Då vardt Saul vred på Jonathan, och sade: Du skalk och bofve, jag vet väl, att du hafver utvalt Isai son, dig och dine slemma moder till skam.
31 for all [the] day which son: child Jesse to live upon [the] land: planet not to establish: establish you(m. s.) and royalty your and now to send: depart and to take: bring [obj] him to(wards) me for son: type of death he/she/it
Ty så länge Isai son lefver på jordene, varder hvarken du eller ditt rike beståndandes. Så sänd nu, och låt hemta honom hit till mig; ty han måste dö.
32 and to answer Jonathan [obj] Saul father his and to say to(wards) him to/for what? to die what? to make: do
Jonathan svarade sinom fader Saul, och sade till honom: Hvi skall han dö? Hvad hafver han gjort?
33 and to cast Saul [obj] [the] spear upon him to/for to smite him and to know Jonathan for to end: decides he/she/it from from with father his to/for to die [obj] David
Då sköt Saul spjutet efter honom, att han måtte skjutit honom igenom. Då märkte Jonathan, att alldeles var beslutet med hans fader, att han ville dräpa David;
34 and to arise: rise Jonathan from from with [the] table in/on/with burning face: anger and not to eat in/on/with day [the] month [the] second food for to hurt to(wards) David for be humiliated him father his
Och stod upp ifrå bordet ganska vred, och åt på den samma andra nymånadsdagenom intet bröd; ty han vardt bedröfvad om David, efter hans fader hade så beskämt honom.
35 and to be in/on/with morning and to come out: come Jonathan [the] land: country to/for meeting: time appointed David and youth small with him
Om morgonen gick Jonathan ut i markena, såsom han hade öfverens varit med David; och en liten dräng med honom.
36 and to say to/for youth his to run: run to find please [obj] [the] arrow which I to shoot [the] youth to run: run and he/she/it to shoot [the] arrow to/for to pass him
Och han sade till drängen: Löp och hemta mig pilarna upp igen, som jag skjuter; då drängen lopp, sköt han en pil öfver honom.
37 and to come (in): come [the] youth till place [the] arrow which to shoot Jonathan and to call: call to Jonathan after [the] youth and to say not [the] arrow from you and further
Och då drängen kom på det rummet, dit Jonathan hade skjutit pilarna, ropade Jonathan efter honom, och sade: Pilen ligger bätter fram för dig;
38 and to call: call to Jonathan after [the] youth haste to hasten [emph?] not to stand: stand and to gather youth Jonathan [obj] ([the] arrow *Q(K)*) and to come (in): come to(wards) lord his
Och ropade än en tid efter honom: Skynda dig full snart, statt icke stilla. Då hemtade drängen Jonathan pilarna upp, och bar dem till sin herra.
39 and [the] youth not to know anything surely Jonathan and David to know [obj] [the] word: thing
Och drängen visste intet hvad på färde var; allenast Jonathan och David visste det.
40 and to give: give Jonathan [obj] article/utensil his to(wards) [the] youth which to/for him and to say to/for him to go: went to come (in): bring [the] city
Då fick Jonathan sinom dräng sin vapen, och sade till honom: Gack, och bär in i staden.
41 [the] youth to come (in): come and David to arise: rise from beside [the] south and to fall: fall to/for face his land: soil [to] and to bow three beat and to kiss man: anyone [obj] neighbor his and to weep man: anyone [obj] neighbor his till David to magnify
Då drängen var ingången, stod David upp af rummet på södra sidone, och föll på sitt ansigte till jordena, och tillbad tre resor; och de kysste hvarannan, och greto tillhopa, ju David aldramest.

Och Jonathan sade till David: Gack med frid, hvad vi både svorit hafve i Herrans Namn och sagt: Herren vare emellan mig och dig, emellan min säd och din säd, till evig tid. Och han stod upp, och gick sin väg; men Jonathan gick i staden igen.
