1 Samuel 15
1 and to say Samuel to(wards) Saul [obj] me to send: depart LORD to/for to anoint you to/for king upon people his upon Israel and now to hear: hear to/for voice: message word LORD
एक दिन शमुएल शाऊल के पास आए और उनसे कहने लगे, “इस्राएली प्रजा के लिए राजा के पद पर तुम्हारा अभिषेक करने के लिए याहवेह ने मुझे ही चुना था; तब अब ध्यानपूर्वक याहवेह द्वारा भेजा संदेश सुनो.
2 thus to say LORD Hosts to reckon: list [obj] which to make: do Amalek to/for Israel which to set: put to/for him in/on/with way: journey in/on/with to ascend: rise he from Egypt
सेनाओं के याहवेह का यह वचन है. ‘अमालेकियों ने मिस्र देश से निकलकर आ रहे इस्राएल का विरोध करते हुए क्या-क्या किया था, मैंने अच्छी रीति से ध्यान में रखा है, उनके इस व्यवहार के लिए मैं सजा ज़रूर दूंगा.
3 now to go: went and to smite [obj] Amalek and to devote/destroy [obj] all which to/for him and not to spare upon him and to die from man till woman from infant and till to suckle from cattle and till sheep from camel and till donkey
तो अब जाओ और अमालेकियों पर वार करो, और उनकी सारी वस्तुओं को पूरी तरह नष्ट कर डालो. किसी को भी न छोड़ना; पुरुष, स्त्री, बालक शिशु, बैल, भेड़, ऊंट तथा गधे, सभी मार डाले जाएं.’”
4 and to hear: proclaim Saul [obj] [the] people and to reckon: list them in/on/with Telaim hundred thousand on foot and ten thousand with man Judah
तब शाऊल ने सेना को बुलाया कि वे तेलाइम में इकट्ठे हों. ये सब दो लाख सैनिक थे, तथा दस हज़ार पुरुष यहूदिया से आए हुए थे.
5 and to come (in): come Saul till city Amalek and to ambush in/on/with torrent: valley
शाऊल इन्हें लेकर अमालेक नगर पहुंचे और वहां घाटी में घात लगाकर बैठ गए.
6 and to say Saul to(wards) [the] Kenite to go: went to turn aside: depart to go down from midst Amalekite lest to gather you with him and you(m. s.) to make: do kindness with all son: descendant/people Israel in/on/with to ascend: rise they from Egypt and to turn aside: depart Kenite from midst Amalek
वहां शाऊल ने केनी जाति के लोगों से कहा, “तुम लोग यहां से निकल भागो. अमालेकियों के बीच से तुम्हारा चले जाना ही सही होगा. कहीं उनके साथ तुम्हारा भी नाश न हो जाए. तुम लोगों ने मिस्र देश से निकलकर आए इस्राएलियों के साथ कृपापूर्ण व्यवहार किया था.” तब केनी अमालेकियों को छोड़कर चले गए.
7 and to smite Saul [obj] Amalek from Havilah to come (in): towards you Shur which upon face: surface Egypt
तब शाऊल ने अमालेकियों पर हमला कर हाविलाह से लेकर शूर तक, जो मिस्र देश के पास है, अमालेकियों को मारा.
8 and to capture [obj] Agag king Amalek alive and [obj] all [the] people to devote/destroy to/for lip: edge sword
उन्होंने अमालेकियों के राजा अगाग को जीवित पकड़ लिया और तलवार से देश के सभी लोगों की हत्या कर दी.
9 and to spare Saul and [the] people upon Agag and upon best [the] flock and [the] cattle and [the] second and upon [the] ram and upon all [the] good and not be willing to devote/destroy them and all [the] work vile and to melt [obj] her to devote/destroy
मगर शाऊल तथा सेना ने राजा अगाग तथा सबसे अच्छी भेड़ों, बैलों तथा पुष्ट बछड़ों और मेमनों की हत्या नहीं की. साथ ही उन वस्तुओं को भी नष्ट नहीं किया, जो अच्छी तथा मूल्यवान थी. इन्हें नष्ट करना उन्हें सही न लगा. हां, उन्होंने वह सब नष्ट कर दिया, जो उन्हें घृणित लगा, जो उनकी दृष्टि में बेकार था.
10 and to be word LORD to(wards) Samuel to/for to say
शमुएल को याहवेह का यह संदेश दिया गया:
11 to be sorry: relent for to reign [obj] Saul to/for king for to return: turn back from after me and [obj] word my not to arise: establish and to be incensed to/for Samuel and to cry out to(wards) LORD all [the] night
“मुझे खेद है कि मैंने शाऊल को राजा चुना है, क्योंकि वह मुझसे दूर हो चुका है. उसने मेरे आदेशों का पालन नहीं किया.” इस पर शमुएल बहुत ही क्रोधित हो गए, और वह याहवेह के सामने पूरी रात रोते रहे.
12 and to rise Samuel to/for to encounter: meet Saul in/on/with morning and to tell to/for Samuel to/for to say to come (in): come Saul [the] Carmel [to] and behold to stand to/for him hand: themselves and to turn: turn and to pass and to go down [the] Gilgal
प्रातःकाल वह शीघ्र उठ गए कि जाकर शाऊल से मिलें; मगर उन्हें यह सूचना दी गई, “शाऊल कर्मेल को चले गए थे, कि वह वहां अपनी स्मृति के लिए एक स्मारक का निर्माण करें. इसके बाद वह आगे बढ़कर गिलगाल को चले गए हैं.”
13 and to come (in): come Samuel to(wards) Saul and to say to/for him Saul to bless you(m. s.) to/for LORD to arise: establish [obj] word LORD
जब शमुएल शाऊल के निकट पहुंचे, शाऊल ने उनका अभिवंदन करते हुए कहा, “याहवेह की कृपादृष्टि आप पर बनी रहे! मैंने याहवेह के आदेश का पालन किया है.”
14 and to say Samuel and what? voice: sound [the] flock [the] this in/on/with ear my and voice: sound [the] cattle which I to hear: hear
“अच्छा!” शमुएल ने शाऊल से प्रश्न किया, “तब मैं जो भेड़ों का मिमियाना तथा गायों का रम्भाना सुन रहा हूं; वह कहां से आता है?”
15 and to say Saul from Amalekite to come (in): bring them which to spare [the] people upon best [the] flock and [the] cattle because to sacrifice to/for LORD God your and [obj] [the] advantage to devote/destroy
शाऊल ने स्पष्ट किया, “उन्हें सेना अमालेकियों के यहां से ले आये है. सेना ने सर्वोत्तम पशु याहवेह, हमारे परमेश्वर को चढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से बचा लिए हैं, शेष सभी का वध कर दिया गया है.”
16 and to say Samuel to(wards) Saul to slacken and to tell to/for you [obj] which to speak: speak LORD to(wards) me [the] night (and to say *Q(K)*) to/for him to speak: speak
“बस! बस करो!” शमुएल ने शाऊल से कहा, “अब वह सुनो, जो याहवेह ने कल रात मुझ पर प्रकट किया है.” शाऊल ने उत्तर दिया, “जी, बताइए.”
17 and to say Samuel not if small you(m. s.) in/on/with eye: appearance your head: leader tribe Israel you(m. s.) and to anoint you LORD to/for king upon Israel
शमुएल ने उनसे कहा, “क्या यह सच नहीं कि जब तुम स्वयं अपने ही दृष्टि में महत्वहीन थे, तुम्हें इस्राएल के सारा गोत्रों का अगुआ बना दिया गया? याहवेह ने तुम्हें इस्राएल का राजा नियुक्त किया.
18 and to send: depart you LORD in/on/with way: journey and to say to go: went and to devote/destroy [obj] [the] sinner [obj] Amalek and to fight in/on/with him till to end: destroy they [obj] them
याहवेह ने तुम्हें यह कहकर विशेष काम का दायित्व सौंपते हुए भेजा था ‘जाओ! उन पापी अमालेकियों का नाश करो! उनका पूरा नाश होने तक युद्ध करते रहो.’
19 and to/for what? not to hear: obey in/on/with voice LORD and to pounce to(wards) [the] spoil and to make: do [the] bad: evil in/on/with eye: seeing LORD
तुमने याहवेह के आदेश का पालन क्यों नहीं किया? बल्कि तुमने लूट की वस्तुओं का लोभ किया है, जो याहवेह की दृष्टि में अनुचित है.”
20 and to say Saul to(wards) Samuel which to hear: obey in/on/with voice LORD and to go: went in/on/with way: journey which to send: depart me LORD and to come (in): bring [obj] Agag king Amalek and [obj] Amalek to devote/destroy
शाऊल ने अपना पक्ष स्पष्ट करते हुए कहा, “मगर मैंने तो याहवेह की आज्ञा का पालन किया है! जिस विशेष काम के लिए याहवेह ने मुझे भेजा था, वह मैंने पूर्ण किया है. अमालेकियों का संहार करने के बाद मैं राजा अगाग को यहां ले आया हूं.
21 and to take: take [the] people from [the] spoil flock and cattle first: best [the] devoted thing to/for to sacrifice to/for LORD God your in/on/with Gilgal
हां, सेना ने कुछ भेड़ें तथा गाय-बैल बचा लिए हैं—संहार के लिए निर्धारित पशुओं में से सर्वोत्तम, ताकि इन्हें गिलगाल में याहवेह, आपके परमेश्वर को चढ़ाए जा सके.”
22 and to say Samuel pleasure to/for LORD in/on/with burnt offering and sacrifice like/as to hear: obey in/on/with voice LORD behold to hear: obey from sacrifice pleasant to/for to listen from fat ram
शमुएल ने उनसे पूछा: “क्या याहवेह की खुशी आज्ञाकारिता से बढ़कर होमबलि तथा बलि चढ़ाने में है? निःसंदेह आज्ञाकारिता, बलि चढ़ाने से कहीं अधिक बढ़कर है, तथा याहवेह के वचन को ध्यान से सुनना मेढ़ों की बलि से बढ़कर है.
23 for sin divination rebellion and evil: wickedness and teraphim to press because to reject [obj] word LORD and to reject you from king
विद्रोह वैसा ही पाप है, जैसा जादू-टोना, और अहंकार वैसा ही घोर अपराध है जैसा मूर्ति पूजा. इसलिये कि तुमने याहवेह के आदेश को अस्वीकार कर दिया है, याहवेह ने भी तुम्हारे राजत्व को अस्वीकार कर दिया है.”
24 and to say Saul to(wards) Samuel to sin for to pass: trespass [obj] lip: word LORD and [obj] word your for to fear [obj] [the] people and to hear: obey in/on/with voice their
यह सुन शाऊल ने शमुएल से कहा, “मैंने पाप किया है. मैंने याहवेह के आदेश का उल्लंघन तथा आपके निर्देशों को ठुकराया है. इसका कारण यह था कि मुझे अपनी सेना से भय लग रहा था, और मैं उनकी इच्छा का विरोध न कर सका.
25 and now to lift: forgive please [obj] sin my and to return: return with me and to bow to/for LORD
तब अब कृपा कर मेरा पाप क्षमा कर दें. लौटकर मेरे साथ चलिए कि मैं याहवेह की वंदना कर सकूं.”
26 and to say Samuel to(wards) Saul not to return: return with you for to reject [obj] word LORD and to reject you LORD from to be king upon Israel
शमुएल ने उन्हें उत्तर दिया, “मैं तुम्हारे साथ लौटकर नहीं जाऊंगा, क्योंकि तुमने याहवेह के आदेश को ठुकराया है, याहवेह भी तुम्हें इस्राएल के राजा के रूप में अस्वीकार कर चुके हैं.”
27 and to turn: turn Samuel to/for to go: went and to strengthen: hold in/on/with wing robe his and to tear
जैसे ही शमुएल मुड़कर जाने के लिए तैयार हुए, शाऊल ने उनके बाहरी वस्त्र के छोर को पकड़ लिया और इस काम में वह वस्त्र फट गया.
28 and to say to(wards) him Samuel to tear LORD [obj] kingdom Israel from upon you [the] day: today and to give: give her to/for neighbor your [the] pleasant from you
इस पर शमुएल ने शाऊल से कहा, “आज याहवेह ने इस्राएल राज्य को तुमसे छीनकर तुम्हारे पड़ोसी को दे दिया है, जो तुमसे श्रेष्ठ है.
29 and also perpetuity Israel not to deal and not to be sorry: relent for not man he/she/it to/for to be sorry: relent
इस्राएल के परम प्रधान अपनी बातें नहीं बदलते, और न ही वह अपने विचार बदलते हैं, क्योंकि वह मनुष्य नहीं कि अपने विचार बदलते रहें.”
30 and to say to sin now to honor: honour me please before old: elder people my and before Israel and to return: return with me and to bow to/for LORD God your
शाऊल ने दोबारा स्वीकार किया, “मैंने पाप किया है, मगर कृपया मेरी प्रजा के पुरनियों के सामने तथा सारे इस्राएल राष्ट्र के सामने मेरे सम्मान का ध्यान रखकर मेरे साथ वहां लौट चलिए, कि मैं याहवेह, आपके परमेश्वर की वंदना कर सकूं.”
31 and to return: turn back Samuel after Saul and to bow Saul to/for LORD
तो शमुएल उनके साथ लौटने के लिए अंत में सहमत हो गए, और शाऊल ने वहां याहवेह की वंदना की.
32 and to say Samuel to approach: bring to(wards) me [obj] Agag king Amalek and to go: come to(wards) him Agag bond and to say Agag surely to turn aside: depart bitter [the] death
इसके बाद शमुएल ने आदेश दिया, “अमालेकियों के राजा अगाग को यहां लाया जाए.” अगाग उनके सामने प्रसन्नता से, यह विचार करता हुआ आया. “मृत्यु का कड़वा क्षण अब बीत चुका है.”
33 and to say Samuel like/as as which be bereaved woman sword your so be bereaved from woman mother your and to hew Samuel [obj] Agag to/for face: before LORD in/on/with Gilgal
मगर शमुएल ने उन्हें संबोधित करते हुए कहा, “ठीक जिस प्रकार तुम्हारी तलवार ने न जाने कितनी स्त्रियों की गोद सुनी कर दी है, उसी प्रकार आज तुम्हारी माता भी संतानहीन स्त्रियों में से एक हो जाएगी.” यह कहते हुए शमुएल ने गिलगाल में याहवेह के सामने अगाग को टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर दिए.

इसके बाद शमुएल रामाह नगर को चले गए, तथा शाऊल अपने घर शाऊल के गिबियाह को.
35 and not to add: again Samuel to/for to see: see [obj] Saul till day death his for to mourn Samuel to(wards) Saul and LORD to be sorry: relent for to reign [obj] Saul upon Israel
इसके बाद शमुएल ने आजीवन शाऊल से भेंट न की; मगर वह शाऊल के लिए विलाप करते रहे. याहवेह को इस विषय का खेद रहा कि उन्होंने शाऊल को इस्राएल का राजा बनाया था.
