Wtedy przemówił Salomon: PAN powiedział, że będzie mieszkać w mroku.

Lecz PAN powiedział do mego ojca Dawida: Ponieważ postanowiłeś w swoim sercu, by zbudować dom dla mojego imienia, dobrze uczyniłeś, że tak postanowiłeś w sercu.

W tym samym dniu król poświęcił środkową część dziedzińca, która była przed domem PANA.
