Le roi Salomon envoya demander et obtint Hiram de Tyr,

Fils d'une femme veuve, issu de la tribu de Nephthali. Son père était un Tyrien, forgeron plein d'art, d'intelligence et d'habileté pour faire toutes sortes d'ouvrages d'airain; quand on l'eut amené au roi Salomon, il lui fit tous ses travaux.
3 and to cover in/on/with cedar from above upon [the] side which upon [the] pillar forty and five five ten [the] row
Il jeta en fonte les deux colonnes du vestibule du temple, chacune haute de dix-huit coudées, ayant quatorze coudées de périmètre et des cannelures de quatre doigts.
4 and frame three row and window to(wards) window three beat
Il jeta en fonte, pour les colonnes, deux chapiteaux, ayant chacun cinq coudées de haut.
5 and all [the] entrance and [the] doorpost to square frame and opposite window to(wards) window three beat
Il fabriqua deux filets d'airain pour couvrir les deux chapiteaux des colonnes.
6 and [obj] Hall (of pillars) [the] (Hall of) Pillars to make fifty cubit length his and thirty cubit width his and Hall (of pillars) upon face: before their and pillar and threshold upon face: before their
Et, pour chaque chapiteau, une guirlande suspendue; deux lignes de grenades d'airain en forme de filets, suspendues en guirlande, une ligne au- dessus de l'autre.
7 and Hall (of the Throne) [the] (Hall of) the Throne which to judge there Hall (of Justice) [the] (Hall of) Judgment to make and to cover in/on/with cedar from [the] floor till [the] floor
Il dressa les colonnes du vestibule du temple: à l'un, il donna le nom de Jachum, et à l'autre, il donna le nom de Boloz.
8 and house: home his which to dwell there court [the] another from house: home to/for Hall (of pillars) like/as deed: work [the] this to be and house: home to make to/for daughter Pharaoh which to take: marry Solomon like/as Hall (of pillars) [the] this
Et il plaça, dans les chapiteaux des colonnes, dans le sens de la façade du vestibule, des lis d'airain de quatre coudées.
9 all these stone precious like/as measure cutting to drag/chew/saw in/on/with saw from house: inside and from outside and from foundation till [the] handbreadth and from outside till [the] court [the] great: large
Une architrave réunit les deux colonnes, et il y eut de chaque côté une architrave en retour, de la même épaisseur.
10 and to found stone precious stone great: large stone ten cubit and stone eight cubit
Et il fit la mer complètement circulaire; tout autour, il y avait dix coudées d'un bord à l'autre; elle était profonde de cinq coudées, et avait trente-trois coudées de circonférence intérieure.
11 and from to/for above [to] stone precious like/as measure cutting and cedar
Au-dessous de ses bords, il fit des étais tout alentour, dix par coudée.
12 and court [the] great: large around three row cutting and row beam cedar and to/for court house: temple LORD [the] inner and to/for Hall (of pillars) [the] house: home
Ses bords s'évasaient comme une coupe en forme de fleur de lis; et elle avait une palme d'épaisseur.
13 and to send: depart [the] king Solomon and to take: bring [obj] Hiram from Tyre
Il fit douze bœufs sous la mer: trois regardant le septentrion, trois regardant l'occident, trois regardant le midi, trois regardant le levant; leurs queues étaient tournées vers l'intérieur du temple, et la mer les couvrait.
14 son: child woman: wife widow he/she/it from tribe Naphtali and father his man Tyrian to plow/plot bronze and to fill [obj] [the] wisdom and [obj] [the] understanding and [obj] [the] knowledge to/for to make all work in/on/with bronze and to come (in): come to(wards) [the] king Solomon and to make: do [obj] all work his
Il fit dix bassins d'airain, chacun long de cinq coudées, large de quatre, haut de six.
15 and to form [obj] two [the] pillar bronze eight ten cubit height [the] pillar [the] one and thread two ten cubit to turn: surround [obj] [the] pillar [the] second
Ces bassins étaient composés de pièces de rapport, et les pièces rapportées étaient entre les parties saillantes.
16 and two capital to make to/for to give: put upon head: top [the] pillar casting bronze five cubit height [the] capital [the] one and five cubit height [the] capital [the] second
Et, sur les pièces rapportées, entres les parties saillantes, il fit des lions, des bœufs, des œuvres variées; et, sur les parties saillantes, en dessus comme en dessous, les places des lions et des bœufs, œuvre allant en pente.
17 latticework deed: work latticework tassel deed: work chain to/for capital which upon head: top [the] pillar seven to/for capital [the] one and seven to/for capital [the] second
Et chaque bassin avait quatre roues d'airain, ses accessoires étaient d'airain; et, des quatre côtés, il y avait des supports sous les cuvettes.
18 and to make [obj] [the] pillar and two row around upon [the] latticework [the] one to/for to cover [obj] [the] capital which upon head: top [the] pomegranate and so to make: do to/for capital [the] second
Il y avait des crampons dans les bassins et dans les roues; la hauteur d'une roue était d'une demi-coudée.
19 and capital which upon head: top [the] pillar deed: work lily in/on/with Portico four cubit
Et les roues étaient faites comme les roues d'un char; leurs crampons, leurs bandes, leurs accessoires, étaient jetés en fonte.
20 and capital upon two [the] pillar also from above from to/for close [the] belly: hump which to/for side: beside ([the] latticework *Q(K)*) and [the] pomegranate hundred row around upon [the] capital [the] second
Les quatre supports, aux quatre coins de chaque bassin, faisaient saillie sur lui, et les maintenaient.
21 and to arise: establish [obj] [the] pillar to/for Portico [the] temple and to arise: establish [obj] [the] pillar [the] right: south and to call: call by [obj] name his Jachin and to arise: establish [obj] [the] pillar [the] left: north and to call: call by [obj] name his Boaz
Le bassin, dans sa partie supérieure, était terminé par une moulure saillante d'une demi-coudée tout alentour; les crampons s'emboîtaient dans son contour, et le bassin avait une ouverture à l'emboîtement des crampons.
22 and upon head: top [the] pillar deed: work lily and to finish work [the] pillar
Toute sa surface était ornée de chérubins, de lions et de palmes; chacune de ces sculptures faisant saillie sur le fond tout alentour.
23 and to make [obj] [the] sea casting ten in/on/with cubit from lip: edge his till lip: edge his round around and five in/on/with cubit height his (and line *Q(K)*) thirty in/on/with cubit to turn: surround [obj] him around
Et les dix bassins étaient faits de même, et avaient les mêmes dimensions.
24 and gourd from underneath: under to/for lip: edge his around to turn: surround [obj] him ten in/on/with cubit to surround [obj] [the] sea around two row [the] gourd to pour: cast metal in/on/with casting his
Et il fit dix cuvettes d'airain, profondes de quatre coudées, contenant chacune quarante conges; et chacune de ces cuvettes fut placée dans l'un des dix bassins.
25 to stand: stand upon two ten cattle three to turn north [to] and three to turn sea: west [to] and three to turn south [to] and three to turn east [to] and [the] sea upon them from to/for above [to] and all back their house: inside [to]
Hiram plaça cinq bassins du côté de l'aile droite du temple, les cinq autres du côté de l'aile gauche, et la mer du côté de l'aile droite, à l'orient vers le midi.
26 and thickness his handbreadth and lip: edge his like/as deed: work lip: edge cup flower lily thousand bath to sustain
Et Hiram fit encore les chaudières, les poêles et les coupes; enfin, il acheva tous les travaux qu'il fit pour le roi Salomon dans le temple du Seigneur, savoir:
27 and to make [obj] [the] base ten bronze four in/on/with cubit length [the] base [the] one and four in/on/with cubit width her and three in/on/with cubit height her
les deux colonnes et les deux guirlandes pour leurs chapiteaux, et deux filets pour couvrir les deux guirlandes des cannelures qui étaient sur les colonnes.
28 and this deed: work [the] base perimeter to/for them and perimeter between [the] frame
Les quatre cents grenades entremêlées dans les filets; deux rangées de grenades par filet, pour voiler les guirlandes de la coupe, en forme de lis, sur les deux colonnes;
29 and upon [the] perimeter which between [the] frame lion cattle and cherub and upon [the] frame stand from above and from underneath: under to/for lion and to/for cattle wreath deed: work descent
Les dix bassins et les dix cuvettes posées dans les bassins,
30 and four wheel bronze to/for base [the] one and axle bronze and four beat his shoulder to/for them from underneath: under to/for basin [the] shoulder casting from side: beside man: anyone wreath
La mer et les douze bœufs sous la mer;
31 and lip: opening his from house: inside to/for capital and above [to] in/on/with cubit and lip: opening her round deed: work stand cubit and half [the] cubit and also upon lip: opening her engraving and perimeter their to square not round
Les chaudières, les poêles, les coupes et tous les vases que Salomon lui avait commandés pour le temple du Seigneur, et les quarante-huit colonnes du palais du roi et du temple du Seigneur. Tels furent les travaux qu'Hiram fit en entier pour le roi Salomon.
32 and four [the] wheel to/for from underneath: under to/for perimeter and hand [the] wheel in/on/with base and height [the] wheel [the] one cubit and half [the] cubit
On ne pesa point l'airain que l'on y employa; la quantité en fut telle qu'on ne put la mesurer.
33 and deed: work [the] wheel like/as deed: work wheel [the] chariot hand their and back/rim/brow their and spoke their and hub their [the] all to pour: cast metal
On jeta l'airain en fonte auprès du Jourdain dans une terre argileuse, entre Socchoth et Sira.
34 and four shoulder to(wards) four corner [the] base [the] one from [the] base shoulder her
Salomon prit les ornements qu'Hiram avait faits dans le temple du Seigneur: l'autel d'or, la table d'or des pains de proposition;
35 and in/on/with head: top [the] base half [the] cubit height round around and upon head: top [the] base hand her and perimeter her from her
Les cinq chandeliers d'or placés à gauche, et les cinq placés à droite de la face de l'oracle, tous d'or et de pièces rajustées; et les petites lampes, et les luminaires, et les burettes d'or.
36 and to engrave upon [the] tablet hand her and upon (perimeter her *Q(K)*) cherub lion and palm like/as gap man: anyone and wreath around
Il avait fait faire aussi les panneaux des portiques, les clous, les coupes, les plats et les encensoirs d'or, et les panneaux des portes intérieures du temple et du Saint des saints, et les portes d'or de la nef.
37 like/as this to make [obj] ten [the] base casting one measure one shape one to/for all their
Tous les travaux du temple du Seigneur que Salomon fit faire étant terminés, il transporta les objets d'or et d'argent consacrés par David son père, et par lui-même, et il les déposa dans le trésor du temple du Seigneur.
38 and to make ten basin bronze forty bath to sustain [the] basin [the] one four in/on/with cubit [the] basin [the] one basin one upon [the] base [the] one to/for ten [the] base
Ensuite, Salomon fit bâtir pour lui-même un palais en treize ans.
39 and to give: put [obj] [the] base five upon shoulder [the] house: home from right: south and five upon shoulder [the] house: home from left his and [obj] [the] sea to give: put from shoulder [the] house: home [the] right: south east [to] from opposite south
Il le bâtit en cèdres du Liban; ce palais était long de cent coudées, large de cinquante, haut de trente; il avait trois rangs de colonnes de cèdre; et les traverses entre les chapiteaux étaient en cèdre.
40 and to make Hiram [obj] [the] basin and [obj] [the] shovel and [obj] [the] bowl and to end: finish Hiram to/for to make: do [obj] all [the] work which to make: do to/for king Solomon house: temple LORD
Il plafonna le palais au-dessus des colonnes; chaque rang de colonnes en comptait quarante-cinq.
41 pillar two and bowl [the] capital which upon head: top [the] pillar two and [the] latticework two to/for to cover [obj] two bowl [the] capital which upon head: top [the] pillar
Et il fit trois chambres par rangée, et elles étaient également espacées.
42 and [obj] [the] pomegranate four hundred to/for two [the] latticework two row pomegranate to/for latticework [the] one to/for to cover [obj] two bowl [the] capital which upon face: before [the] pillar
Il fit toutes les portes, et les intervalles formant les chambres étaient carrés, et les portes correspondaient aux portes dans les trois rangées.
43 and [obj] [the] base ten and [obj] [the] basin ten upon [the] base
Il fit un vestibule de colonnes, lequel avait cinquante coudées de long et cinquante coudées de large, et se rattachait à un autre vestibule qui lui faisait face; et il y avait, sur la façade des vestibules, des colonnes très grosses.
44 and [obj] [the] sea [the] one and [obj] [the] cattle two ten underneath: under [the] sea
Il fit aussi le vestibule des trônes, où le roi jugeait; c'était la galerie du jugement;
45 and [obj] [the] pot and [obj] [the] shovel and [obj] [the] bowl and [obj] all [the] article/utensil ([the] these *Q(K)*) which to make Hiram to/for king Solomon house: temple LORD bronze to smooth
Et le palais auquel appartenaient ces vestibules et où le roi devait demeurer avait un parvis, par où on allait à ces vestibules, et construit comme eux; il fit encore le palais de la fille du Pharaon, que le roi avait épousée, de même architecture que les vestibules.
46 in/on/with talent [the] Jordan to pour: cast metal them [the] king in/on/with thickness [the] land: soil between Succoth and between Zarethan
Tous ces bâtiments étaient en bonnes pierres de taille, sculptées par intervalles extérieurement, depuis le sol jusqu'à la corniche; au dehors il y avait un grand parvis;
47 and to rest Solomon [obj] all [the] article/utensil from abundance much much not to search weight [the] bronze
Ses fondations étaient de grandes et belles pierres, longues de dix et de huit coudées,
48 and to make Solomon [obj] all [the] article/utensil which house: temple LORD [obj] altar [the] gold and [obj] [the] table which upon him food: bread [the] face: before gold
En haut desquelles il y avait de belles pierres aussi grandes que les pierres de taille, et des cèdres.
49 and [obj] [the] lampstand five from right: south and five from left to/for face: before [the] sanctuary gold to shut and [the] flower and [the] lamp and [the] tong gold
Et il y avait autour du parvis trois rangs de pierres de taille, et un rang de cèdres sculptés.
50 and [the] basin and [the] snuffer and [the] bowl and [the] palm: dish and [the] censer gold to shut and [the] hinge to/for door [the] house: home [the] inner to/for Most Holy Place [the] Most Holy Place to/for door [the] house: home to/for temple gold
Ainsi Salomon acheva tout son palais.
51 and to complete all [the] work which to make: do [the] king Solomon house: temple LORD and to come (in): bring Solomon [obj] holiness David father his [obj] [the] silver: money and [obj] [the] gold and [obj] [the] article/utensil to give: put in/on/with treasure house: temple LORD
