1 Kings 5

टुरोसका राजा हीरामले सोलोमनकहाँ आफ्ना सेवकहरू पठाए किनकि आफ्नो पिताको सट्टामा सोलोमन राजा अभिषेक गरिएका थिए भनी तिनले सुनेका थिए । हीरामले दाऊदलाई सधैँ माया गर्थे ।
2 and to send: depart Solomon to(wards) Hiram to/for to say
सोलोमनले यसो भन्दै हीरामलाई वचन पठाए,
3 you(m. s.) to know [obj] David father my for not be able to/for to build house: home to/for name LORD God his from face: because [the] battle which to turn: surround him till to give: put LORD [obj] them underneath: under palm: sole (foot my *Q(K)*)
“मेरा पिता दाऊद युद्धले घेरिएकाले परमप्रभु उहाँका परमेश्वरको नाउँमा उहाँले मन्दिर बनाउन सक्नुभएन भनी तपाईंलाई थाहै छ । उहाँको जीवनभर परमप्रभुले उहाँका शत्रुहरूलाई उहाँको खुट्टाको पैतालामुनि ल्याउनुभयो ।
4 and now to rest LORD God my to/for me from around: side nothing Satan and nothing chance bad: evil
तर अहिले परमप्रभु मेरा परमेश्वरले मलाई हरेक क्षेत्रमा विश्राम दिनुभएको छ ।
5 and look! I to say to/for to build house: home to/for name LORD God my like/as as which to speak: speak LORD to(wards) David father my to/for to say son: child your which to give: put underneath: instead you upon throne your he/she/it to build [the] house: home to/for name my
त्यसैले परमप्रभु मेरा परमेश्वरको नाउँमा एउटा मन्दिर बनाउने मेरो इच्छा छ जस्तो परमप्रभुले मेरा पिता दाऊदलाई यसो भन्नुभएको थियो, 'म तेरो छोरोलाई तेरो सिंहासनमा बसाउने छु, र त्यसले नै मेरो नाउँमा मन्दिर बनाउने छ ।'

त्यसकारण, अब तिनीहरूलाई मेरो निम्ति देवदारुका रुखहरू काट्न आज्ञा दिनुहोस् । मेरा दासहरू तपाईंका दासहरूसित मिल्ने छन्, र तपाईंले तोक्नुभएको ज्याला म तिनीहरूलाई दिने छु । किनकि तपाईंलाई थाहा छ, कि सीदोनीहरूजस्तै रुख ढाल्ने सिपालु मानिसहरू हाम्रा बिचमा कोही छैन ।”

हीरामले सोलोमनको कुरा सुनेपछि तिनी अत्यन्तै खुसी भए र भने, “आज परमप्रभु धन्यका होऊन् जसले दाऊदलाई आफ्ना जातिको रेखदेख गर्न एउटा बुद्धिमान् छोरा दिनुभएको छ ।
8 and to send: depart Hiram to(wards) Solomon to/for to say to hear: hear [obj] which to send: depart to(wards) me I to make: do [obj] all pleasure your in/on/with tree: wood cedar and in/on/with tree: wood cypress
हीरामले सोलोमनलाई यस्तो वचन पठाए, “तपाईंले मलाई पठाउनुभएको सन्देश मैले सुनेको छु । म तपाईंले चाहना गर्नुभएका सबै देवदारु र सल्लाका काठ जुटाइदिने छु ।
9 servant/slave my to go down from [the] Lebanon sea [to] and I to set: make them raft in/on/with sea till [the] place which to send: depart to(wards) me and to shatter them there and you(m. s.) to lift: raise and you(m. s.) to make: do [obj] pleasure my to/for to give: give food house: household my
मेरा दासहरूले लेबनानबाट समुद्रसम्म मूढाहरू ल्याउने छन्, र ती बाँधेर तपाईंले तोक्नुभएको ठाउँमा म बगाएर पठाउन लगाउने छु । म त्यहाँ खोल्न लगाउने छु, र तपाईंले ती लैजान सक्नुहुने छ । मेरो घरानालाई भोजन जुटाइदिएर तपाईंले चाहनुभएको कुरा पुरा गर्नुहोस् ।”

त्यसैले सोलोमनले चाहेका सबै देवदारु र सल्लाका मूढा हीरामले तिनलाई दिए ।
11 and Solomon to give: give to/for Hiram twenty thousand kor wheat food to/for house: household his and twenty kor oil beaten thus to give: give Solomon to/for Hiram year in/on/with year
सोलोमनले हीरामको घरानालाई भोजनको निम्ति पचास हजार मुरी गहुँ र साढे चार हजार लिटर शुद्ध तेल दिए । सोलोमनले यो वर्षैपिच्छे हीरामलाई दिन्थे ।

आफूले प्रतिज्ञा गर्नुभएझैँ परमप्रभुले सोलोमनलाई बुद्धि दिनुभयो । सोलोमन र हीरामको बिचमा शान्ति कायम थियो, र तिनीहरू दुई जनाले एउटा करार बाँधे ।
13 and to ascend: establish [the] king Solomon taskworker from all Israel and to be [the] taskworker thirty thousand man
सोलोमन राजाले सारा इस्राएलबाट तिस हजार बेगार काम गर्ने मानिस जम्मा गरे ।

तिनले तिनीहरूलाई हरेक महिना दस-दस हजार गरी लेबनानमा पठाए । तिनीहरू एक महिना लेबनानमा बस्थे र दुई महिना घरमा बस्थे । अदोनिराम बेगार काम गर्नेहरूका जिम्मावाल थिए ।

सोलोमनका सत्तरी हजरा भरिया र पहाडमा असी हजार ढुङ्गा काट्ने मानिस थिए ।
16 to/for alone from ruler [the] to stand to/for Solomon which upon [the] work three thousand and three hundred [the] to rule in/on/with people [the] to make: do in/on/with work
मजदुरहरूका कामको रेखदेख गर्न खटिएका तिन हजार तिन सय नाइके थिए ।
17 and to command [the] king and to set out stone great: large stone precious to/for to found [the] house: home stone cutting
राजाको आज्ञामा तिनीहरूले मन्दिरको जगको निम्ति उच्च गुणस्तरका ठुला-ठुला ढुङ्गाहरू फोरेर निकाले ।
18 and to hew to build Solomon and to build Hiram and [the] Gebalite and to establish: prepare [the] tree: wood and [the] stone to/for to build [the] house: home
त्यसैले सोलोमन र हीरामका कारीगरहरूसाथै गेबालका मानिसहरूले मन्दिर निर्माणको निम्ति काठ र ढुङ्गाहरू काटेर तयार पारे ।
