1 Kings 4

അങ്ങനെ ശലോമോൻരാജാവു എല്ലാ യിസ്രായേലിന്നും രാജാവായി.

അവന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്ന പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ ആരെന്നാൽ: സാദോക്കിന്റെ മകൻ അസര്യാവു പുരോഹിതൻ.

ശീശയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരായ എലീഹോരെഫും അഹീയാവും രായസക്കാർ; അഹീലൂദിന്റെ മകൻ യെഹോശാഫാത്ത് മന്ത്രി;

രാജാവിന്നും രാജഗൃഹത്തിന്നും ഭോജന പദാർത്ഥങ്ങൾ എത്തിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാൻ ശലോമോന്നു യിസ്രായേലിലൊക്കെയും പന്ത്രണ്ടു കാര്യക്കാരന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവരിൽ ഓരോരുത്തൻ ആണ്ടിൽ ഓരോമാസത്തേക്കു ഭോജനപദാർത്ഥങ്ങൾ എത്തിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

ഗിലെയാദിലെ രാമോത്തിൽ ബെൻ-ഗേബെർ; അവന്റെ ഇടവക മനശ്ശെയുടെ മകനായ യായീരിന്നു ഗിലെയാദിലുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളും മതിലുകളും ചെമ്പോടാമ്പലുകളും ഉള്ള അറുപതു വലിയ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെട്ട ബാശാനിലെ അർഗ്ഗോബ് ദേശവും ആയിരുന്നു,

മഹനയീമിൽ ഇദ്ദോവിന്റെ മകൻ അഹീനാദാബ്;

19 Geber son: child Uri in/on/with land: country/planet Gilead land: country/planet Sihon king [the] Amorite and Og king [the] Bashan and garrison one which in/on/with land: country/planet

ബാശാൻരാജാവായ ഓഗിന്റെയും രാജ്യമായിരുന്ന ഗിലെയാദ്‌ദേശത്തു ഹൂരിന്റെ മകൻ ഗേബെർ; ആ ദേശത്തു ഒരു കാര്യക്കാരൻ മാത്രമേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളു.

യെഹൂദയും യിസ്രായേലും കടല്ക്കരയിലെ മണൽപോലെ അസംഖ്യമായിരുന്നു; അവർ തിന്നുകയും കുടിക്കയും സന്തോഷിക്കയും ചെയ്തു പോന്നു.

നദിമുതൽ ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശംവരെയും മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ അതിർവരെയും ഉള്ള സകലരാജ്യങ്ങളെയും ശലോമോൻ വാണു; അവർ കപ്പം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ശലോമോനെ അവന്റെ ജീവപര്യന്തം സേവിച്ചു.

22 and to be food: allowance Solomon to/for day one thirty kor fine flour and sixty kor flour

ശലോമോന്റെ നിത്യച്ചെലവു ദിവസം ഒന്നിന്നു മുപ്പതു പറ നേരിയ മാവും അറുപതു പറ സാധാരണമാവും

23 ten cattle fat and twenty cattle pasture and hundred flock to/for alone from deer and gazelle and roebuck and fowl to fatten

മാൻ, ഇളമാൻ, മ്ലാവു, പുഷ്ടിവരുത്തിയ പക്ഷികൾ എന്നിവ കൂടാതെ തടിപ്പിച്ച പത്തു കാളയും മേച്ചൽപുറത്തെ ഇരുപതു കാളയും നൂറു ആടും ആയിരുന്നു.

24 for he/she/it to rule in/on/with all side: west [the] River from Tiphsah and till Gaza in/on/with all king side: west [the] River and peace to be to/for him from all side: beside his from around

നദിക്കു ഇക്കരെ തിഫ്സഹ് മുതൽ ഗസ്സാവരെയുള്ള സകലദേശത്തെയും നദിക്കു ഇക്കരെയുള്ള സകലരാജാക്കന്മാരെയും അവൻ വാണു. ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ദിക്കിൽ ഒക്കെയും അവന്നു സമാധാനം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

ശലോമോന്റെ കാലത്തൊക്കെയും യെഹൂദയും യിസ്രായേലും ദാൻമുതൽ ബേർ-ശേബവരെയും ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയുടെ കീഴിലും അത്തിവൃക്ഷത്തിൻ കീഴിലും നിർഭയം വസിച്ചു.

ശലോമോന്നു തന്റെ രഥങ്ങൾക്കു നാല്പതിനായിരം കുതിരലായവും പന്തീരായിരം കുതിരച്ചേവകരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

27 and to sustain [the] to stand [the] these [obj] [the] king Solomon and [obj] all [the] approaching to(wards) table [the] king Solomon man: anyone month his not to lack word: thing

കാര്യക്കാരന്മാർ ഓരോരുത്തൻ ഓരോ മാസത്തേക്കു ശലോമോൻരാജാവിന്റെ പന്തിഭോജനത്തിന്നു കൂടുന്ന എല്ലാവർക്കും വേണ്ടുന്ന ഭോജനപദാർത്ഥങ്ങൾ കുറവുകൂടാതെ എത്തിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

28 and [the] barley and [the] straw to/for horse and to/for steed to come (in): bring to(wards) [the] place which to be there man: anyone like/as justice: custom his

അവർ കുതിരകൾക്കും തുരഗങ്ങൾക്കും വേണ്ടുന്ന യവവും വയ്ക്കോലും താന്താന്റെ മുറപ്രകാരം അവൻ ഇരിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ എത്തിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

29 and to give: give God wisdom to/for Solomon and understanding to multiply much and width heart like/as sand which upon lip: shore [the] sea

ദൈവം ശലോമോന്നു ഏറ്റവും വളരെ ജ്ഞാനവും ബുദ്ധിയും കടല്ക്കരയിലെ മണൽപോലെ ഹൃദയവിശാലതയും കൊടുത്തു.

30 and to multiply wisdom Solomon from wisdom all son: descendant/people front: east and from all wisdom Egypt

സകലപൂർവ്വദിഗ്വാസികളുടെയും ജ്ഞാനത്തെക്കാളും മിസ്രയീമ്യരുടെ സകലജ്ഞാനത്തെക്കാളും ശലോമോന്റെ ജ്ഞാനം ശ്രേഷ്ഠമായിരുന്നു.

31 and be wise from all [the] man from Ethan [the] Ezrahite and Heman and Calcol and Darda son: child Mahol and to be name his in/on/with all [the] nation around

സകലമനുഷ്യരെക്കാളും എസ്രാഹ്യനായ ഏഥാൻ, മാഹോലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ ഹേമാൻ, കല്ക്കോൽ, ദർദ്ദ എന്നിവരെക്കാളും അവൻ ജ്ഞാനിയായിരുന്നു; അവന്റെ കീർത്തി ചുറ്റുമുള്ള സകലജാതികളിലും പരന്നു.

32 and to speak: speak three thousand proverb and to be song his five and thousand

അവൻ മൂവായിരം സദൃശവാക്യം പറഞ്ഞു; അവന്റെ ഗീതങ്ങൾ ആയിരത്തഞ്ചു ആയിരുന്നു.

33 and to speak: speak upon [the] tree from [the] cedar which in/on/with Lebanon and till [the] hyssop which to come out: issue in/on/with wall and to speak: speak upon [the] animal and upon [the] bird and upon [the] creeping and upon [the] fish

ലെബാനോനിലെ ദേവദാരുമുതൽ ചുവരിന്മേൽ മുളെക്കുന്ന ഈസോപ്പുവരെയുള്ള വൃക്ഷാദികളെക്കുറിച്ചും മൃഗം, പക്ഷി, ഇഴജാതി, മത്സ്യം എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ചും അവൻ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു.

34 and to come (in): come from all [the] people to/for to hear: hear [obj] wisdom Solomon from with all king [the] land: country/planet which to hear: hear [obj] wisdom his

ശലോമോന്റെ ജ്ഞാനത്തെപ്പറ്റി കേട്ട സകലഭൂപാലകന്മാരുടെയും അടുക്കൽനിന്നു നാനാജാതിക്കാരായ പലരും അവന്റെ ജ്ഞാനം കേൾപ്പാൻ വന്നു.
