Alò, Achab te di Jizréel tout sa ke Élie te fè ak jan li te touye tout pwofèt yo avèk nepe.
2 and to send: depart Jezebel messenger to(wards) Elijah to/for to say thus to make: do [emph?] God and thus to add [emph?] for like/as time tomorrow to set: make [obj] soul: life your like/as soul: life one from them
Epi Jizréel te voye yon mesaje kote Élie. Li te di: “Konsa ke dye yo fè m sa e menm plis si mwen pa fè lavi ou tankou youn nan sa yo avan demen vè menm lè sa a.”
3 and to see: see and to arise: rise and to go: walk to(wards) soul: life his and to come (in): come Beersheba Beersheba which to/for Judah and to rest [obj] youth his there
Epi Élie te vin pè, e li te leve kouri pou sove lavi li. Li te rive nan Beer-Schéba, ki pou Juda a, e li te kite sèvitè li a la.
4 and he/she/it to go: went in/on/with wilderness way: journey day and to come (in): come and to dwell underneath: under broom (one *Q(k)*) and to ask [obj] soul: myself his to/for to die and to say many now LORD to take: take soul: life my for not pleasant I from father my
Men li menm te vwayaje pandan yon jou antre nan dezè a, pou l te rive chita anba yon bwa pikan. Konsa, li te fè demann pou l ta mouri e te di: “Sa se kont! Koulye a, O SENYÈ, pran lavi mwen; paske mwen pa pi bon ke zansèt mwen yo.”
5 and to lie down: lay down and to sleep underneath: under broom one and behold this messenger: angel to touch in/on/with him and to say to/for him to arise: rise to eat
Li te kouche dòmi anba bwa pikan an. Epi vwala, te gen yon zanj ki touche li. Li te di: “Leve, manje!”
6 and to look and behold head his bun coal and jar water and to eat and to drink and to return: again and to lie down: lay down
Li te gade, e vwala, te gen bò tèt li yon gato pen wòch cho, ak yon veso dlo. Konsa, li te manje, bwè e te kouche ankò.
7 and to return: again messenger: angel LORD second and to touch in/on/with him and to say to arise: rise to eat for many from you [the] way: journey
Zanj Bondye a te vini ankò yon dezyèm fwa, li te touche li e te di: “Leve, manje, paske vwayaj la twò gran pou ou.”
8 and to arise: rise and to eat and to drink and to go: went in/on/with strength [the] food [the] he/she/it forty day and forty night till mountain: mount [the] God Horeb
Konsa, li te leve. Li te manje e bwè, epi li te ale ak fòs manje sa a pandan karant jou ak karant nwit pou rive Horeb, mòn Bondye a.
9 and to come (in): come there to(wards) [the] cave and to lodge there and behold word LORD to(wards) him and to say to/for him what? to/for you here Elijah
Alò, li te rive la nan yon kav e li te rete ladann. Epi vwala, pawòl Bondye a te vini sou li, e Li te di li: “Kisa w ap fè isit la, Élie?”
10 and to say be jealous be jealous to/for LORD God Hosts for to leave: forsake covenant your son: descendant/people Israel [obj] altar your to overthrow and [obj] prophet your to kill in/on/with sword and to remain I to/for alone me and to seek [obj] soul: life my to/for to take: take her
Li te di: “Mwen te tèlman ranpli avèk zèl pou SENYÈ a, Bondye dèzame yo, pwiske fis Israël yo te abandone akò Ou a, yo te dechire lotèl Ou yo, e te touye pwofèt Ou yo avèk nepe. Epi se mwen sèl ki rete, e y ap chache lavi m pou pran l.”
11 and to say to come out: come and to stand: stand in/on/with mountain: mount to/for face: before LORD and behold LORD to pass and spirit: breath great: large and strong to tear mountain: mount and to break crag to/for face: before LORD not in/on/with spirit: breath LORD and after [the] spirit: breath quaking not in/on/with quaking LORD
Pou sa, Li te di: “Ale kanpe sou mòn nan devan SENYÈ a.” Epi veye byen, SENYÈ a t ap pase! Yon gwo van fò t ap boulvèse mòn yo e t ap chire wòch yo an mòso devan SENYÈ a. Men SENYÈ a pa t nan van an. Epi apre van an, yon tranbleman detè, men SENYÈ a pa t nan tranbleman detè a.
12 and after [the] quaking fire not in/on/with fire LORD and after [the] fire voice: sound silence thin
Apre van an yon dife, men SENYÈ a pa t nan dife a. Epi apre dife a, yon ti bwi tankou yon souf lejè.
13 and to be like/as to hear: hear Elijah and to wrap face his in/on/with clothing his and to come out: come and to stand: stand entrance [the] cave and behold to(wards) him voice and to say what? to/for you here Elijah
Lè Élie te tande l, li te fin vlope figi li nan manto li a e li te ale deyò nan antre kav la. Epi vwala, yon vwa te parèt a li menm e te di: “Kisa w ap fè isit la, Élie?”
14 and to say be jealous be jealous to/for LORD God Hosts for to leave: forsake covenant your son: descendant/people Israel [obj] altar your to overthrow and [obj] prophet your to kill in/on/with sword and to remain I to/for alone me and to seek [obj] soul: life my to/for to take: take her
Epi li te di: “Mwen te tèlman ranpli avèk zèl pou SENYÈ a, Bondye dèzame yo, paske fis Israël yo te abandone akò Ou a, dechire lotèl Ou yo e te touye pwofèt Ou yo avèk nepe. Epi se mwen sèl ki rete; epi y ap chache lavi mwen pou pran l.”
15 and to say LORD to(wards) him to go: went to return: return to/for way: road your wilderness [to] Damascus and to come (in): come and to anoint [obj] Hazael to/for king upon Syria
SENYÈ a te di li: “Ale, retounen sou chemen ou vè dezè Damas la, e lè ou fin rive, ou va onksyone Hazaël wa sou Syrie;
16 and [obj] Jehu son: child Nimshi to anoint to/for king upon Israel and [obj] Elisha son: child Shaphat from Abel-meholah Abel-meholah to anoint to/for prophet underneath: instead you
epi Jéhu, fis Nimschi a, ou va onksyone wa sou Israël; epi Élisée, fis a Schaphath a nan Abel-Mehola a, ou va onksyone li kòm pwofèt nan plas ou.
17 and to be [the] to escape from sword Hazael to die Jehu and [the] to escape from sword Jehu to die Elisha
Li va vin rive ke sila ki chape anba nepe Hazaël la, Jéhu va mete l a lanmò e sila ki chape anba nepe a Jéhu a, Élisée va mete l a lanmò.
18 and to remain in/on/with Israel seven thousand all [the] knee which not to bow to/for Baal and all [the] lip which not to kiss to/for him
Sepandan, Mwen va kite sèt-mil an Israël, tout jenou ki pa t bese a Baal e tout bouch ki pa t konn bo li.”
19 and to go: went from there and to find [obj] Elisha son: child Shaphat and he/she/it to plow/plot two ten pair to/for face: before his and he/she/it in/on/with two [the] ten and to pass Elijah to(wards) him and to throw clothing his to(wards) him
Konsa, li te kite la e te twouve Élisée, fis a Schaphath la, pandan li t ap raboure avèk douz pè bèf devan li, li menm avèk douzyèm nan. Epi Élie te pase bò kote li e te jete manto li sou li.
20 and to leave: forsake [obj] [the] cattle and to run: run after Elijah and to say to kiss please to/for father my and to/for mother my and to go: follow after you and to say to/for him to go: went to return: again for what? to make: do to/for you
Li te kite bèf yo e te kouri dèyè Élie. Li te di: “Souple, kite m bo papa m avèk manman m e mwen va swiv ou.” Epi li te di li: “Ale, retounen, paske kisa ke m te fè ou?”
21 and to return: return from after him and to take: take [obj] pair [the] cattle and to sacrifice him and in/on/with article/utensil [the] cattle to boil them [the] flesh and to give: give to/for people and to eat and to arise: rise and to go: follow after Elijah and to minister him
Konsa, li te retounen soti swiv li, li te pran pè bèf la e li te fè sakrifis avèk yo, li te bouyi chè avèk dife fèt ak zouti bèf e li te bay a pèp la pou yo te manje. Epi li te leve, li te swiv Élie pou te sèvi li.
