1 Kings 18

Volt sok idő múlva, lett az Örökkévaló igéje Élijáhúhoz a harmadik évben, mondván: Menj, mutatkozzál Achábnak, hadd adok esőt a föld színére.
2 and to go: went Elijah to/for to see: see to(wards) Ahab and [the] famine strong in/on/with Samaria
Ment tehát Élijáhú, hogy mutatkozzék Achábnak; az éhség pedig erős volt Sómrónban.
3 and to call: call to Ahab to(wards) Obadiah which upon [the] house: household and Obadiah to be afraid [obj] LORD much
És szólította Acháb Óbadjáhút, ki a ház fölött volt – Óbadjáhú pedig nagyon félte az Örökkévalót;
4 and to be in/on/with to cut: eliminate Jezebel [obj] prophet LORD and to take: take Obadiah hundred prophet and to hide them fifty man in/on/with cave and to sustain them food: bread and water
és történt, mikor kiirtotta Ízébel az Örökkévaló prófétáit, vett Obadjáhú száz prófétát és elrejtette őket, ötven embert egy – egy barlangban és ellátta őket kenyérrel és vízzel –
5 and to say Ahab to(wards) Obadiah to go: went in/on/with land: country/planet to(wards) all spring [the] water and to(wards) all [the] torrent: valley perhaps to find grass and to live horse and mule and not to cut: lack from [the] animal
és szólt Acháb Óbadjáhúhoz: Menj az országban mind a forrásokhoz és mind a patakokhoz, hátha találunk valami füvet, hogy életben tartsunk lovat és öszvért és ki ne fogyjunk a baromból.
6 and to divide to/for them [obj] [the] land: country/planet to/for to pass in/on/with her Ahab to go: went in/on/with way: direction one to/for alone him and Obadiah to go: went in/on/with way: direction one to/for alone him
És fölosztották maguk közt az országot, hogy bejárják; Acháb ment az egyik úton egyedül, és Óbadjáhú ment a másik úton egyedül.
7 and to be Obadiah in/on/with way: journey and behold Elijah to/for to encounter: meet him and to recognize him and to fall: fall upon face his and to say you(m. s.) this lord my Elijah
Midőn Óbadjáhú az útban volt, íme elejébe jött Élijáhú; reáismert, arcra vetette magát és mondta: Te vagy-e az, uram Élijáhú?
8 and to say to/for him I to go: went to say to/for lord your behold Elijah
Mondta neki: Én vagyok! Menj, mondjad uradnak: itt van Élijáhú!
9 and to say what? to sin for you(m. s.) to give: give [obj] servant/slave your in/on/with hand: power Ahab to/for to die me
És mondta: Mit vétettem, hogy Acháb kezébe akarod adni szolgádat, hogy megöljön engem?
10 alive LORD God your if: surely no there nation and kingdom which not to send: depart lord my there to/for to seek you and to say nothing and to swear [obj] [the] kingdom and [obj] [the] nation for not to find you
Él az Örökkévaló, a te Istened, nincsen nemzet és királyság, ahova nem küldött volna uram, hogy téged keressen, de azt mondták: nincs itt, akkor megeskette azt a királyságot és nemzetet arra, hogy csakugyan nem találnak téged.

És most te azt mondod: menj, mondjad uradnak, itt van Élijáhú!

És lészen, én majd elmegyek tőled, s az Örökkévaló szelleme elvisz téged, nem tudom hová, én meg odamegyek, hogy tudtára adjam Achábnak a hírt, de ő nem talál téged és megöl engem – pedig szolgád féli az Örökkévalót ifjúkoromtól fogva.
13 not to tell to/for lord my [obj] which to make: do in/on/with to kill Jezebel [obj] prophet LORD and to hide from prophet LORD hundred man fifty fifty man in/on/with cave and to sustain them food: bread and water
Hiszen tudtára adták uramnak azt, amit tettem, mikor Ízébel megölte az Örökkévaló prófétáit? Elrejtettem az Örökkévaló prófétái közül száz embert, ötven ötven embert egy barlangban és elláttam őket kenyérrel és vízzel.

És most te azt mondod: menj, mondjad uradnak: itt van Élijáhú, hogy megöljön!

Mondta Élijáhú: Él az Örökkévaló, a seregek ura, ki előtt én álltam, bizony ma mutatkozom neki.
16 and to go: went Obadiah to/for to encounter: meet Ahab and to tell to/for him and to go: went Ahab to/for to encounter: meet Elijah
Ment tehát Óbadjahú Acháb elejébe és tudtára adta neki; erre elment Acháb Élíjáhú elejébe.
17 and to be like/as to see: see Ahab [obj] Elijah and to say Ahab to(wards) him you(m. s.) this to trouble Israel
És volt, amint meglátta Acháb Élijáhút, így szólt hozzá Acháb: Te vagy-e az, Izraél megzavarója?
18 and to say not to trouble [obj] Israel that if: except if: except you(m. s.) and house: household father your in/on/with to leave: forsake you [obj] commandment LORD and to go: follow after [the] Baal
Mondta: Nem én zavartam meg Izraélt, hanem te és atyád háza azzal, hogy elhagytátok az Örökkévaló parancsolatait és jártál a Báalok után.
19 and now to send: depart to gather to(wards) me [obj] all Israel to(wards) mountain: mount [the] (Mount) Carmel and [obj] prophet [the] Baal four hundred and fifty and prophet [the] Asherah four hundred to eat table Jezebel
Most pedig küldj el, gyűjtsd hozzám egész Izraélt a Karmel hegyére, meg Báal prófétáit, négyszázötvenet és az Aséra prófétáit, négyszázat, az Ízébel asztalánál evőket.
20 and to send: depart Ahab in/on/with all son: descendant/people Israel and to gather [obj] [the] prophet to(wards) mountain: mount [the] (Mount) Carmel
Ekkor küldött Acháb mind az Izraél fiaihoz, és a Karmel hegyére gyűjtötte a prófétákat.
21 and to approach: approach Elijah to(wards) all [the] people and to say till how you(m. p.) to limp upon two [the] division if LORD [the] God to go: follow after him and if [the] Baal to go: follow after him and not to answer [the] people [obj] him word
Odalépett Élijáhu az egész néphez és mondta: Meddig akartok ti ugrálni két ágon? Ha az Örökkévaló az Isten, járjatok ő utána, ha pedig a Báal, járjatok ő utána! De nem felelt neki a nép semmit.
22 and to say Elijah to(wards) [the] people I to remain prophet to/for LORD to/for alone me and prophet [the] Baal four hundred and fifty man
Ekkor szólt Élijáhú a néphez: Én egyedül maradtam meg prófétául az Örökkévalónak, a Báal prófétái pedig négyszázötvenen vannak.
23 and to give: give to/for us two bullock and to choose to/for them [the] bullock [the] one and to cut him and to set: put upon [the] tree: wood and fire not to set: put and I to make [obj] [the] bullock [the] one and to give: put upon [the] tree: wood and fire not to set: put
Adjanak nekünk két tulkot, válasszák ők maguknak az egyik tulkot, darabolják el ég tegyék a fára, de tüzet ne tegyenek alája; én meg elkészítem a másik tulkot, ráteszem a fára, de tüzet nem teszek alája.
24 and to call: call to in/on/with name God your and I to call: call to in/on/with name LORD and to be [the] God which to answer in/on/with fire he/she/it [the] God and to answer all [the] people and to say pleasant [the] word: speaking
Akkor szólítsátok a ti istenteknek nevét, én pedig szólítom az Örökkévaló nevét; és lészen, amely isten tűzben felel, az az Isten! Erre felelt az egész nép és mondták: Jól van így!
25 and to say Elijah to/for prophet [the] Baal to choose to/for you [the] bullock [the] one and to make first for you(m. p.) [the] many and to call: call to in/on/with name God your and fire not to set: put
És mondta Élijáhú a Báal prófétáinak: Válasszátok magatoknak az egyik tulkot és készítsétek el elébb ti, mert ti vagytok többen; szólítsátok istenteknek nevét, de tüzet ne tegyetek alá.
26 and to take: take [obj] [the] bullock which to give: give to/for them and to make and to call: call to in/on/with name [the] Baal from [the] morning and till [the] midday to/for to say [the] Baal to answer us and nothing voice and nothing to answer and to limp upon [the] altar which to make
Vették tehát a tulkot, melyet adtak nekik, elkészítették azt és szólították a Báal nevét reggeltől délig, mondván: Oh Báal, hallgass meg minket! De se szó, se válasz. Ekkor ugrándoztak az oltárra, melyet készítettek.
27 and to be in/on/with midday and to mock in/on/with them Elijah and to say to call: call out in/on/with voice great: large for God he/she/it for complaint and for pursuing to/for him and for way: journey to/for him perhaps sleeping he/she/it and to awake

29 and to be like/as to pass [the] midday and to prophesy till to/for to ascend: offer up [the] offering and nothing voice and nothing to answer and nothing attentiveness
És volt, mikor elmúlt a dél, prófétáztak a lisztáldozat bemutatása idejéig; de se hang, se válasz, se figyelem.
30 and to say Elijah to/for all [the] people to approach: approach to(wards) me and to approach: approach all [the] people to(wards) him and to heal [obj] altar LORD [the] to overthrow
Ekkor mondta Élijáhú az egész népnek: Lépjetek ide hozzám! És odalépett hozzá az egész nép; és helyreállította az Örökkévalónak lerombolt oltárát.

32 and to build [obj] [the] stone altar in/on/with name LORD and to make conduit like/as house: container seah seed around to/for altar
oltárt épített a kövekből az Örökkévaló nevére és az oltár körül csinált mintegy két mértéknyi vetőmagnak helyét.
33 and to arrange [obj] [the] tree: wood and to cut [obj] [the] bullock and to set: put upon [the] tree: wood and to say to fill four jar water and to pour: pour upon [the] burnt offering and upon [the] tree: wood
Elrendezte a fát, szétdarabolta a tulkot és rátette a fára.
34 and to say to repeat and to repeat and to say to do three and to do three
És mondta: Töltsetek meg négy vödröt vízzel és öntsétek az égő áldozatra és a fára. Mondta: tegyétek másodszor. És tették másodszor. Mondta: tegyétek harmadszor. És tették harmadszor.

És folyt a víz az oltár körül; és az árkot is megtöltötte vízzel.

És volt a lisztáldozat bemutatása idejében, odalépett Élijáhú próféta és mondta: Oh Örökkévaló, Ábrahám, Izsák és Izraél Istene, ma tudassék meg, hogy te vagy Isten Izraélben és hogy én vagyok a szolgád és hogy a te igéd szerint cselekedtem mind e dolgokat.

Erre lehullott tűz az Örökkévalótól és megemésztette az égőáldozatot és a fát, meg a köveket és a földet; az árokban levő vizet pedig fölnyalta.
39 and to see: see all [the] people and to fall: fall upon face their and to say LORD he/she/it [the] God LORD he/she/it [the] God
Látta az egész nép, arcukra vetették magukat és mondták: Az Örökkévaló az Isten, az Örökkévaló az Isten!
40 and to say Elijah to/for them to capture [obj] prophet [the] Baal man: anyone not to escape from them and to capture them and to go down them Elijah to(wards) torrent: valley Kishon and to slaughter them there
Ekkor mondta nekik Élijáhú: Fogjátok meg a Báal prófétáit, senki se meneküljön közülök! És megfogták őket. És levitte őket Élijáhú a Kísón patakhoz és levágta ott őket.
41 and to say Elijah to/for Ahab to ascend: rise to eat and to drink for voice: sound crowd [the] rain
És mondta Élijáhú Achábnak: Menj föl, egyél és igyál, mert hallom már az eső zúgását.
42 and to ascend: rise Ahab to/for to eat and to/for to drink and Elijah to ascend: rise to(wards) head: top [the] (Mount) Carmel and to bend (down) land: soil [to] and to set: put face his between (knee his *Q(K)*)
Fölment tehát Acháb, hogy egyék és igyék; Élijáhú pedig fölment a Karmel csúcsára, lehajolt a földre és térdei közé tette az arcát.
43 and to say to(wards) youth his to ascend: rise please to look way: direction sea and to ascend: rise and to look and to say nothing anything and to say to return: again seven beat
És szólt a legényéhez: Menj csak föl, tekints a tenger felé! Fölment, odatekintett és mondta: Nincsen semmi! Mondta: Menj vissza, hétszer.
44 and to be in/on/with seventh and to say behold cloud small like/as palm man to ascend: rise from sea and to say to ascend: rise to say to(wards) Ahab to bind and to go down and not to restrain you [the] rain
Volt pedig hetedízben, mondta: Íme, kis felhő, akkora mint egy embernek tenyere, száll föl a tengerből. Mondta: Menj föl, szólj Achabhoz: fogass be és menj le, hogy vissza ne tartson az eső!
45 and to be till thus and till thus and [the] heaven be dark cloud and spirit: breath and to be rain great: large and to ride Ahab and to go: went Jezreel [to]
És volt míg ide meg oda fordult, az ég már is besötétült felhőktől és széltől, éa volt nagy eső. Szekérre ült Acháb és elment Jizreélbe.
46 and hand: power LORD to be to(wards) Elijah and to gird loin his and to run: run to/for face: before Ahab till to come (in): towards you Jezreel [to]
Az Örökkévaló keze pedig volt Élijáhún: felövezte a derekát és futott Acháb előtt egészen Jizreél felé.
