1 Kings 16

“ഞാൻ നിന്നെ പൊടിയിൽനിന്ന് ഉയർത്തി; എന്റെ ജനമായ ഇസ്രായേലിനു നിന്നെ ഭരണാധികാരിയാക്കി. എന്നാൽ, നീ യൊരോബെയാമിന്റെ മാർഗങ്ങളിൽ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു; എന്റെ ജനമായ ഇസ്രായേലിനെക്കൊണ്ടു പാപംചെയ്യിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ പാപങ്ങളാൽ എന്റെ രോഷത്തെ നീ ആളിക്കത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

ബയെശാ യഹോവയുടെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ യൊരോബെയാം ഗൃഹത്തെപ്പോലെതന്നെ സകലദുഷ്ടതകളും പ്രവർത്തിച്ച് യഹോവയെ കോപിപ്പിക്കുകയും യൊരോബെയാം ഗൃഹത്തെ നശിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഈ രണ്ടു കാരണങ്ങളാൽ ബയെശയ്ക്കും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിനുമെതിരായി ഹനാനിയുടെ മകനായ യേഹുപ്രവാചകൻ മുഖാന്തരം യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടുണ്ടായി.
