1 Kings 14

En aquel tiempo Abías hijo de Jeroboam cayó enfermo,

y dijo Jeroboam a su mujer: Levántate ahora, disfrázate, para que no te conozcan que eres la mujer de Jeroboam, y ve a Silo; que allá está Ahías profeta, el que me dijo que yo había de ser rey sobre este pueblo.

Y toma en tu mano diez panes, y turrones, y una vasija de miel, y ve a él; para que te declare lo que ha de ser de este niño.

Y la mujer de Jeroboam lo hizo así; y se levantó, y fue a Silo, y vino a casa de Ahías. Y Ahías ya no podía ver, que sus ojos se habían oscurecido a causa de su vejez.

Mas el SEÑOR había dicho a Ahías: He aquí que la mujer de Jeroboam vendrá a consultarte por su hijo, que está enfermo; así y así le has de responder; pues será que cuando ella viniere, vendrá disimulada.

Y cuando Ahías oyó el sonido de sus pies que entraba por la puerta, dijo: Entra, mujer de Jeroboam; ¿por qué te disimulas? Pero yo soy enviado a ti con revelación dura.

Ve, y di a Jeroboam: Así dijo el SEÑOR Dios de Israel: Por cuanto yo te levanté de en medio del pueblo, y te hice príncipe sobre mi pueblo Israel,

y rompí el reino de la casa de David, y te lo entregué a ti; y tú no has sido como David mi siervo, que guardó mis mandamientos y anduvo en pos de mí con todo su corazón, haciendo solamente lo derecho delante de mis ojos;

antes hiciste lo malo más que todos los que han sido antes de ti; que fuiste y te hiciste otros dioses, y fundiciones para enojarme, y a mí me echaste tras tus espaldas;

por tanto, he aquí que yo traigo mal sobre la casa de Jeroboam, y yo talaré de Jeroboam todo meante a la pared, así el guardado como el quedado en Israel; y barreré la posteridad de la casa de Jeroboam, como es barrido el estiércol, hasta que sea acabada.

El que muriere de los de Jeroboam en la ciudad, lo comerán los perros; y el que muriere en el campo, lo comerán las aves del cielo; porque el SEÑOR lo ha dicho.

Y tú levántate, y vete a tu casa; que en entrando tu pie en la ciudad, morirá el niño.
13 and to mourn to/for him all Israel and to bury [obj] him for this to/for alone him to come (in): come to/for Jeroboam to(wards) grave because to find in/on/with him word: thing pleasant to(wards) LORD God Israel in/on/with house: household Jeroboam
Y todo Israel lo endechará, y le enterrarán; porque sólo él de los de Jeroboam entrará en sepultura; por cuanto se ha hallado en él alguna cosa buena del SEÑOR Dios de Israel, en la casa de Jeroboam.
14 and to arise: establish LORD to/for him king upon Israel which to cut: eliminate [obj] house: household Jeroboam this [the] day: today and what? also now
Y el SEÑOR se despertará un rey sobre Israel, el cual talará la casa de Jeroboam en este día; ¿y qué, si ahora?
15 and to smite LORD [obj] Israel like/as as which to wander [the] branch: stem in/on/with water and to uproot [obj] Israel from upon [the] land: soil [the] pleasant [the] this which to give: give to/for father their and to scatter them from side: beyond to/for River because which to make [obj] Asherah their to provoke [obj] LORD
Y el SEÑOR herirá a Israel, al modo que la caña se agita en las aguas; y él arrancará a Israel de esta buena tierra que había dado a sus padres, y los esparcirá al otro lado del río ( Eufrates ), por cuanto han hecho sus bosques, enojando al SEÑOR.
16 and to give: give [obj] Israel in/on/with because of sin Jeroboam which to sin and which to sin [obj] Israel
Y él entregará a Israel por los pecados de Jeroboam, el cual pecó, y ha hecho pecar a Israel.
17 and to arise: rise woman: wife Jeroboam and to go: went and to come (in): come Tirzah [to] he/she/it to come (in): come in/on/with threshold [the] house: home and [the] youth to die
Entonces la mujer de Jeroboam se levantó, y se fue, y vino a Tirsa; y entrando ella por el umbral de la casa, el niño murió.
18 and to bury [obj] him and to mourn to/for him all Israel like/as word LORD which to speak: speak in/on/with hand: by servant/slave his Ahijah [the] prophet
Y lo enterraron, y lo endechó todo Israel, conforme a la palabra del SEÑOR, que él había hablado por mano de su siervo Ahías profeta.
19 and remainder word: deed Jeroboam which to fight and which to reign behold they to write upon scroll: book Chronicles [the] day to/for king Israel
Los otros hechos de Jeroboam, qué guerras hizo, y cómo reinó, todo está escrito en el libro de las historias de los reyes de Israel.
20 and [the] day which to reign Jeroboam twenty and two year and to lie down: be dead with father his and to reign Nadab son: child his underneath: instead him
El tiempo que reinó Jeroboam fueron veintidós años; y habiendo dormido con sus padres, reinó en su lugar Nadab su hijo.
21 and Rehoboam son: child Solomon to reign in/on/with Judah son: aged forty and one year Rehoboam in/on/with to reign he and seven ten year to reign in/on/with Jerusalem [the] city which to choose LORD to/for to set: put [obj] name his there from all tribe Israel and name mother his Naamah [the] Ammon
Y Roboam hijo de Salomón reinó en Judá. De cuarenta y un años era Roboam cuando comenzó a reinar, y diecisiete años reinó en Jerusalén, ciudad que el SEÑOR eligió de todas las tribus de Israel para poner allí su nombre. El nombre de su madre fue Naama, amonita.

Y Judá hizo lo malo en los ojos del SEÑOR, y le enojaron más que todo lo que sus padres habían hecho en sus pecados que cometieron.
23 and to build also they(masc.) to/for them high place and pillar and Asherah upon all hill high and underneath: under all tree luxuriant
Porque ellos también se edificaron altos, estatuas, y bosques, en todo collado alto, y debajo de todo árbol frondoso;
24 and also male cult prostitute to be in/on/with land: country/planet to make: do like/as all [the] abomination [the] nation which to possess: take LORD from face: before son: descendant/people Israel
y hubo también sodomitas en la tierra, e hicieron conforme a todas las abominaciones de los gentiles que el SEÑOR había echado delante de los hijos de Israel.
25 and to be in/on/with year [the] fifth to/for king Rehoboam to ascend: rise (Shishak *Q(K)*) king Egypt upon Jerusalem
Al quinto año del rey Roboam subió Sisac rey de Egipto contra Jerusalén.
26 and to take: take [obj] treasure house: temple LORD and [obj] treasure house: palace [the] king and [obj] [the] all to take: take and to take: take [obj] all shield [the] gold which to make Solomon
Y tomó los tesoros de la Casa del SEÑOR, y los tesoros de la casa real, y lo saqueó todo. Y tomó todos los escudos de oro que Salomón había hecho.

Y en lugar de ellos hizo el rey Roboam escudos de bronce, y los dio en manos de los capitanes de los de la guardia, quienes custodiaban la puerta de la casa real.

Y cuando el rey entraba en la Casa del SEÑOR, los de la guardia los llevaban; y los ponían después en la cámara de los de la guardia.
29 and remainder word: deed Rehoboam and all which to make: do not they(masc.) to write upon scroll: book Chronicles [the] day to/for king Judah
Lo demás de los hechos de Roboam, y todas las cosas que hizo, ¿no están escritas en las crónicas de los reyes de Judá?
30 and battle to be between Rehoboam and between Jeroboam all [the] day: always
Y hubo guerra entre Roboam y Jeroboam todos los días.
31 and to lie down: be dead Rehoboam with father his and to bury with father his in/on/with city David and name mother his Naamah [the] Ammon and to reign Abijam son: child his underneath: instead him
Y durmió Roboam con sus padres, y fue sepultado con sus padres en la ciudad de David. El nombre de su madre fue Naama, amonita. Y reinó en su lugar Abiam su hijo.
